After that slap, Nephele and Xiwang Mu were both unable to properly think. Selene was already lying flat on the floor, unconscious and oblivious to what was now taking place.
Logean Wuji took that fearless hand that dared to slap someone like Xiwang Mu and brought it behind his back. As if what he had just done was the equivalent of releasing a silent, odorless fart, he walked back over to where he was previously and sat down.
"It is you who have not changed, Xiwang Mu. Despite everything that was happening in the Mythical Realm, you still saw it fit to bring those worthless peaches with you." Logean Wuji eyes Xiwang Mu with a superficial disdain, seeming lightly displeased.
"They are not worthless. These peaches are my life! I have poured out, without measure, all of my power and life force to nurture them-- they are practically my children, Young Master!"
"They are mediocre children, then. Surely not worth overinflating your soul and dying due to an overabundance of divinity. Had I not been here your soul, which is that of a demon- mind you- would have exploded. That storage item around your neck might be able to contain physicality, but it cannot contain spirituality. Or have you lost your mind as you flittered through the chaotic void?"
Xiwang Mu pouted angrily, turning her face away from him. "It would have been worth it, for your information. I would have finally rid myself of the demonic parts of me and truly become the embodiment of the Pure Jade Pond-"
"Yes, but at the cost of this entire realm. Not even Zeus could survive an explosion of unrefined divinity like what you would have caused. I, yet again, have saved others from falling victim to your stupid actions. Grow up."
Logean Wuji closed his eyes and began to take deep breaths, entering meditation. Xiwang Mu noticed Nephele's expression and smiled warmly. "As you can tell, Sister Nephele, we know each other quite well. We are old friends, or something of the sort."
Nephele shook her head rapidly, falling down on one knee and lowering her head. "Please, Empress. I would not dare to accept this form of address from you. Please refer to me differently."
Xiwang Mu frowned. "Are we not sisters? Why must I refer to you differently?"
"With all due respect, Empress, that was because you let me remain in my ignorance. I will not ever again allow you to lower yourself by calling this one a 'sister' of yours." Xiwang Mu sighed, nodding before sending a dissatisfied glance in Logean Wuji's direction.
"This, too, is punishment. Nephele could have died because of you, so this is justified." Logean Wuji said this then returned to his breathing.
"Oh, whatever. You should go on back to the Qin Realm, Young Master Logean. Thank you for your help, but I'd rather we never met again." Sticking out her tongue at him, Xiwang Mu also entered a meditative position and shut her eyes.
"Go back? Oh, Little Peach-Lover, I am already there." Smirking with closed eyes, Logean Wuji's body glittered brightly before bursting into runes of all sorts of colors. Those runes then settled in space itself, remaining there but hidden from their sight.
Xiwang Mu's eyes opened wide. It was not obvious to Nephele, but she was suppressing the urge to get up and run over to where Logean Wuji once was. Nephele, on the other hand, thought that Logean Wuji had used whatever sort of strange method of travel he had used to bring them to the Graikos Realm earlier.
She thought this because, in her mind, achieving omnipresence was impossible. It was only when she picked up on something Xiwang Mu was muttering that her eyes became bloodshot and her brain hurt.
" ...he's far beyond what he was at that time. Even then he was unfathomable, but to attain this realm of ubiquity... He's already become omnipresent..."
While they were both reeling from the shock of it all, Logean Wuji had appeared somewhere else in the Graikos Realm. Above even the tallest and mightiest of summits within the Graikos Realm, a single mountain loomed in the air beyond the clouds. From here it was possible, for those with the sight, to survey the Graikos Realm in its entirety.
The floating mountain was, put simply, just large enough to fit the structure on it. Built both within and without the mountain was the home of the rulers of the Graikos Realm. A single otherworldly cloud loomed near the base of the mountain and golden lights filled the space around it.
'Mount Olympus, home of the Graikos Gods, yet it is not even comparable to the majesty of my mountain.'
Suspended in the air above, Logean Wuji looked down at the mountain and easily observed the goings and comings of its inhabitants. He ignored the swift movements of Hermes, the never-ending quest of enlightenment being carried out by Athena and the frustrations of Hera. Finally, he found who he was looking for and disappeared from sight.
Amazingly, before he had even disappeared from the sky, he appeared before a mighty figure seated on the throne and overlooking the realm. This was a bearded man, dressed like a scholar and philosopher. Though he was sitting, he was taller than any man could ever hope to be and many times more muscular. His beard, like rain clouds, were a dismaying grey color yet also seemed to flash with thunder-force.
"Zeus. How off-putting; you were the epitome of an entitled palace brat when last I saw you."
Zeus' surprised look remained even as he stood up from his throne and bowed his head. "Off-putting, you say, Young Master."
"Indeed it is off-putting. You make me feel old." Logean Wuji waved his hand, alerting Zeus to be at ease in his presence.
'I make you feel old? You, who was in the womb for millions of years?' Zeus did not express his discontent, but instead kept it hidden and smiled wryly.
"So, Young Master Logean, what brings you to the Graikos Realm? Could it be that you, too, have heard of this titan they call Typhoeus and how he is fated to be the end of Olympus? Nonsense, I say, yet the Sisters continue to urge me to caution. Even the Oracle herself-"
"I could not care less about your problems, Zeus." Cold gusts blew past Zeus' body, chilling him to the bone and cowing him to silence.
"I am here because Xiwang Mu, the Empress of the Gods in the Mythical Realm, has appeared here some months ago."
Zeus' face changed and he abruptly stood, his beard flashing more intensely than before. "Could it have been that woman Nephele and Selene sought to help?"
Logean Wuji nodded slowly, "It was."
With folded arms, Zeus began to pace back and forth in contemplation. Logean Wuji just watched him for a while, waiting for him to speak.
"She was among those that vanished into the chaotic void, right? That's how the legend goes, but what does it mean for her to appear here?"
"It means," Logean Wuji cut Zeus off before he could fly off the handle even more, "that the final battle for the Mythical Realm will soon commence."
"Anu and his people destroyed everything and everyone that stood against them. Back then, I was..." Logean Wuji froze, evoking a soft harrumph from a panicked Zeus.
"Right, yes. Those who Anu didn't kill were the ones that vanished into the chaotic void. Anu and the rest of the Primordial Entities remain in the Mythical Realm. Of the Sovereign Gods, those that vanished were: Nyx, Ra, Tupa, and Shiva. Of the Divine Beasts: Tezcatlipoca, Veles, Leviathan and Fenrir. Of the Devils: Mara, Lilith, Lucifer and Iblis. Of the Gods: Xiwang Mu, the Jade Emperor and Erlang Shen."
Zeus made a mental note of all these names, knowing their importance.
"These are all those that may, one day, reappear to fight against Anu and the Primordial Deities at his side." Logean Wuji then turned away from Zeus and looked down at the clouds filling the sky, about to leave.
"But, Young Master Logean, why have you told me this?"
Scoffing, Logean Wuji said, "Isn't it obvious? My Logean Clan put an end to the karmic ties between it and the Mythical Realm long ago. This is not my problem, but it is yours. Nyx, your superior, will return to the Graikos Realm one day and inform you of the very thing I am now speaking of. Either way, you will be tasked to help locate and bring together those who have emerged from the chaotic void."
Realizing to himself that Logean Wuji's words were true and that Nyx would surely be returning to the Graikos Realm, Zeus shivered uncontrollably for a split second.
"I suggest you start by revoking the ban on realm travel and enlisting the help of your fellow gods here on Olympus. Xiwang Mu is already in this realm, and Nyx will be heading here the minute she emerges. This seems to be the fated gathering place of the survivors, does it not?"
Zeus gulped audibly and nodded hastily, wiping his sweat as his mind raced to find ideas and plans to implement going forward. "I thank you for your kindness, Young Master Logean."
"When Nyx arrives, tell her to come to the Qin Realm immediately. You are allowed to use my name to instill a sense of urgency in her if she refuses for whatever reason; I know she fears me a great deal after what happened." His voice lingered, but Logean Wuji had already vanished from sight yet again, leaving fading runes.
Zeus tugged at his beard fiercely, as if to rip it off. Arcs of azure electric currents sparked, flashing here and there as they danced on the surface of his body.
'Lady Nyx ...fears him. Judging by that display just now... Could it be that Young Master Logean has broken past the estimated heights? Is this truly omnipresence?' That thought would leave an eternal imprint on Zeus' psyche, reminding him of his true place in the grand scheme of things.
Back on Mount Logean, in the ancient village, Ye Hong, Ling Ji'er and Father Tang were still covered in the aura of enlightenment. Dazzling lights shone around their bodies, causing them to transform on fundamental levels. Ye Hong and Ling Ji'er saw rises in their cultivation, but were too caught up in their comprehensions to realize just yet.
Of them, the first to open their eyes was Father Tang. The aura on enlightenment around him lingered just a bit longer after he awoke, but soon vanished. He was as if a new man. He had lost his focus, so the form of the old man went away to reveal his true self: the golden-glowing personage of Gautama Buddha.
He looked at Ye Hong and Ling Ji'er beside him, smiling dotingly like a proud elder, then looked toward Logean Wuji, who was sitting on his chair within the open temple.
"Sir Wuji, I thank you deeply for this blessing."
Logean Wuji smiled and waved his hand, "It was nothing, Siddhartha."
Gautama Buddha froze, not expecting Logean Wuji to call him this. He regained his composure and bowed respectfully, then sat down and started to meditate on his gains.
Soon enough, he grew excited and said, "Sir Wuji, this is truly amazing. My Buddhist Dao-Art, 'Oneness of Heaven and Earth; United Universe,' has evolved! I now see the next step of my cultivation. Many thanks!"
This time, Gautama Buddha had his forehead pressed against the ground as he expressed his thanks. Logean Wuji didn't bother doing anything to stop him, instead he sighed and shook his head. 'These people are too easily amazed. I give up.'
After Gautama Buddha was finished, Logean Wuji stood up and walked across the water toward him. Ye Hong and Ling Ji'er still showed no signs of waking, so he decided it was as good a time as any to discuss the matters at hand.
"Siddhartha, you, Guan Yin and Sun Wukong came to this realm, yes?"
Gautama Buddha nodded. "It was shortly after your clan visited the Mythical Realm. Before the final battle, I sensed something was piercing through, coming into the space of the realm and trying to take a number of its inhabitants. I did what had to be done and saved the only two I could save."
Logean Wuji gave a knowing look, smiled and said, "That was me. I was going to take eighteen individuals through the chaotic void in order for them to arrive at another point in time and space, but you three left the Mythical Realm early. Fifteen people were swept up by my hand the day the battle for the realm broke out.
