"I'm not impressed." He said and Kalina guessed the laughter in his words. "Still." She returned, trying to match his amusement and completely failing. That man had a knack for annoying her, that was for sure. ¿Why? Kalina didn't know for sure. She felt a little stupid about the discovery, but there was something else. Something attracted her to him, that was undeniable.
The Most Implacable Temptation
Lala had almost fainted when she saw Zintia and Valian in that kind of state. However, although trembling she assisted Kalina as she carried the princess into the tent. Then, before Lala's stunned gaze, the small diamonds began to fall to the ground.
"I'll leave, so you can help her dress on." Kal apologized and left, giving Her Majesty privacy.
The camp was a disaster, it was like a hurricane had hit it. However, miraculously the tents were standing. The same could not be said for the surrounding forest.
"A miracle!!" A traveler ran by like crazy.
Well, it sounded like someone had discovered the diamonds. Kalina thought as she took a seat near a well-built bonfire on a bed of well-cut and organized rocks. She felt a very strange wave of tiredness sweep over her. Cause Kal, she rarely got tired.
It was surely a product of the stress from recent events. She said to herself as she stretched out her arms.
