I'm Ron Weasley!!!

Who would have thought that making a wish would change my pass to the afterlife? Well, no one. Come on, even my conscience thinks so. It's rare that wishes come true, even more so if you are dying. But... it still happened and my life changed. This story doesn't belong to me. It's a translation.

Chapter Three

Several years have passed since I arrived in this world. As predicted, Bill became a Prefect and Annual Prize winner at Hogwarts. He graduated and now works at Gringotts helping to remove curses.

Charlie was a Quidditch Prefect and captain. He graduated and then went to Romania to study dragons. He always sends us letters.

Percy is still studying at Hogwarts and this year he received his prefect badge. He was proud. Our family (my and Molly's idea) had a party for his great achievement.

The twins were still the same, but now they had a new partner in mischief I your humble servant.

With my persuasion they gradually stopped teasing Percy... well almost for the most part it wasn't such bad jokes anymore.

Oh, and I forgot Ginny was already born a year after me. She was a tiny, red-haired creature. Being the only female child. She was spoiled by my parents.

This year I turned 11 and my Hogwarts letter arrived.

Even though my mental age was older, my fascination and eagerness for its arrival did not change. It was the happiest day of my life.

Several days passed.

We went to Diagon Alley to get my wand, it was made of willow wood, a core of Unicorn Hair, and measured 36 centimeters. It was fantastic.

We didn't buy much. We went to the bank and the vault had only 1 galleon in it. And everything else was piles of Sickle and Knut. It was sad, but this wouldn't stay that way for long, not for nothing I was a rich and famous businessman in my other life.

I inherited the twins' cloaks, they had grown up and the ones they had before fell off.

Percy's rat... sometimes I wanted to throw it out of the window or have it eaten by a snake. But I wasn't supposed to do anything yet... Sirius and everything else depended on it.

The supplies belonged to my other siblings, some of the books had loose pages or holes in them. Nothing that magic couldn't fix.

September 1st finally arrived and I was feeling a bit anxious. This would be the day I would meet the famous Harry Potter.

We got up at 6, mom made us a feast of toast, bacon, ham, scrambled eggs, and juice. I devoured almost everything.

We arrived at the station a little late, Percy couldn't find his badge. We all looked for it, it had fallen between the sofa pillows. It was the twins' turn to pass and I heard a little voice.

- "Excuse me" - We all turned toward the voice and looked at the boy. He was skinny, with messy black hair as if he had never seen a comb. His clothes were too big for him and I knew instantly it was Harry. He looked a little restless and lonely.

Before he could say anything I interrupted, - "You want to go on the train with me" - The boy lowered his tense shoulders.

I know I shouldn't force a friendship but I was all alone. So I did something I always wanted them to do.

- "Yes, please"

I looked at my mother and she nodded - "Well, we have to cross the wall. My brothers already crossed" - He swallowed hard.

- "Look, my mother and my little sister will show you" - They walked across without much difficulty.

I saw the fascination in Harry's eyes

- "I sympathize with you, my friend."

He crossed successfully.

I got some courage too and crossed, I felt a tingling sensation in my whole body. I looked up and saw children of all ages and parents lining the platform. Luggage was everywhere, and smoke from the train could be felt in the station.

- "I..." - I stopped looking around and looked at Harry.

- "Come on" - He smiled with his glasses almost falling off the bridge of his nose.

I went to say goodbye to my mother while Harry looked for seats on the train.

My brothers helped him with his luggage and noticed his scar. They were silent and I hit them both with my elbow.

It was a strange moment.

- "That was Harry Potter" - I rolled my eyes.

- "No, it was Elvis" - They looked at me strangely.

- "Who is Elvis" - I forgot sometimes that they were not used to the Muggle world.

- "No one" - I mumbled. I hugged my mother. While the twins promised Ginny an outhouse.

We got on the train and Ginny started crying.

- "Okay Ronnie, we'll go with Lee Jordan" - Fred patted me on the back and George ruffled my hair I glared at them.

I searched the carriages for Harry.

On my way, I bumped into a dark-skinned boy.

- "I'm sorry." - And I went on my way.

At last, I found him looking at the door.

- "Well, we haven't introduced ourselves, I'm Ronald Billius Weasley, but my friends call me Ron" - I shook my hand.

- "I'm Harry James Potter, you can call me Harry."

I offered him one of the two that Mom had made for me.

He bought several things from the candy cart and we shared.

I pretended I didn't know anything and he told me about his life, his uncles, that he didn't get Christmas presents and all that.

I told him about my family and siblings and magic.

It wasn't like the original Ron so I talked about what I learned in the books.

I showed him scabbers from my pocket.

- "He's my pet" - I said, - "He's fat, ugly, treacherous, and ..." - He looked at me strangely. - "That's how I show my love." - 'Not true.'

I looked at the rat and to prove my point I shook it.

- "Do you have a pet?"

He told me about Hedwig and Hagrid the keeper.

Halfway through the conversation, a little girl poked her head out. She had lion-like hair. And longer front teeth than most. It must have been Hermione Granger.

She said, - "Have you seen a toad Neville lost it" - We both shook our heads.

She watched us with judicious eyes. Looking at the candy wrappers.

- "You shouldn't eat too much" - I furrowed my brow - "Tooth decay in children is high, so you should avoid eating candy and spend your money on something ..... more productive like... books." - She was irritating, her commanding voice commanding rather than ordering.

Wait wait wait this wasn't in the book.

I think the arrival of my soul altered several things in this world. I took a breath and answered.

- "Books are more expensive than candy and I'm poor so as you can see candy is a better option" - She raised an eyebrow.

- "Cavities will eat away at your teeth, you'll regret it and it'll be too late you know they can even kill you."

WHAT? And what's this one about?

- "Well then I'll remember..."

- "Remember what?"

- "Life was short but sweet."

She looked at me angrily and I gave it back to her. She was coming to get a toad not boss the others around. She closed the door in annoyance and left with a loud step.

- "How annoying" - Harry nodded.

.

We changed to get off the train.

I knotted my tie with mastery.

Thanks to another life I saw that Harry was having trouble with it so I helped him. It was a perfect knot.

We got off the train and headed towards the giant man who was calling the first years. We went up in the boats on the black lake. We shared it with Seamus and Dean Thomas. They were chatty.

I caught a glimpse of the impressive castle in the distance. It was like something out of a fairy tale.

We headed inside and waited on the stairs.

.

I turned my head and looked at the children. My eyes stopped on a platinum blonde head.

'My nemesis.' - I thought with some amusement.

- "I heard someone saying that the test would be painful" - A chubby boy said in a shaky voice.

'Oh, Fred and George.'

Harry was trembling a little. I was going to tell him it wouldn't be painful, but I'd better shut up, we have to keep up the anticipation.

- "So it's true what they were saying on the train, Harry Potter has come to Hogwarts..." - The voice was directed at our side, and the tone completely lacked humility.

A blond boy stood above all of us and looked at Harry with a critical eye, on either side of him were two sturdy boys as bodyguards with the faces of bullies.

- "My name is Malfoy... Draco Malfoy..." - This time I didn't laugh but stared at him.

He glared back at me with contempt.

'What did I do now?'

- "You'll soon realize that some wizarding families are much better than others, Potter. You don't want to make friends with the wrong guy. I can help you" - He held out his hand to Harry and gave me a superior look I raised an eyebrow in defiance and that seemed to irritate him.

- "I know who the wrong guy is, thank you very much," - The boy reflected anger on his face and slowly lowered his hand.

- "Who do you think you..."

- "Mr. Malfoy" - Minerva Mcgonagall appeared behind him.

Malfoy grumbled back to the crowd.

- "Welcome to Hogwarts. Now, in a moment you will pass through these doors, and join your classmates. But first, you should know that Sorting is a very important ceremony because, while you are here, each of the houses will be like your family at Hogwarts. The four houses are called Gryffindor, Hufflepuff, Ravenclaw, and Slytherin. Let's get started" - She led us to the big doors and we entered the dining room.

'Lots of information.'

We entered through the large doors of what I assumed was the dining hall. It was a gigantic room. The ceiling was covered by hundreds of candles and clouds.

- "The ceiling is not real, it is enchanted to look like the night sky. I know because I read 'The History of Hogwarts' " - Hermione whispered or tried to.

The teachers' table was at the end. A man with a long white beard sat in a chair in the middle of the table.

'I know who he is... one point for me.'

- "Wait here, please. Now, before we begin, Professor Dumbledore will say a few words"

The old man stood up from the comfortable chair and spread his arms wide. - "First of all, I would like to say a few things. Newcomers must remember that students are not allowed to enter the Forbidden Forest under any circumstances. And our warden, Mr. Filch, asked me to remind you that the third-floor corridor on the right side is off-limits to all those who do not intend to die a terrifying death. Thank you."

'Wow, what a motivator.'

- "When I call your name, you will come forward, I will put the Sorting Hat on you and you will know your house... Hermione Granger!"

The girl shakily walked to the front, sat down on the chair and the hat was put on her.

It was tatty and old and I watched as what appeared to be her mouth opened.

- "Ah... Excellent! Mmm... Exactly, Gryffindor!"

Everyone applauded and Hermione went to take her place at the Gryffindor table.

.

- "Draco Malfoy" - He did walk with elegance and superiority.

- "¡Slytherin!"

- "Susan Bones!"

As Susan went to sit on the bench, I heard Harry groan and saw him touch his scar.

- "What's wrong?"

- "Nothing, I'm fine."

- "Of course not."

The selection continued.

- "I know... Hufflepuff!" - Shouted the hat, Susan took a seat next to the rest of her Hufflepuff classmates.

.

- "Ronald Weasley," - I approached at a confident pace.

- "Ah, another Weasley" - Whispered the hat, - "Interesting, you know what's going to happen and it's happened... I wonder where I'll put you... Slytherin would be a good start for you I see great cunning and determination... although Ravenclaw would enhance your intelligence in this world and Gryffindor your bravery."

- "Please Gryffindor," - I murmured.

I wanted to support Harry and for that, I had to be in the same house as him.

- "Well, if that's what you want... Gryffindor,"

I sighed with relief and headed for the lions' table. My brothers gave me a thumbs up.

- "I knew it," - Percy cheered.

.

- "Harry Potter!" - He starts to walk slowly toward the bench while turning every way. I gave him a thumbs up.

The hat took a long time to debate.

Several got up from their seats to watch. I didn't of course, I knew very well why he was taking so long.

Until at last he shouted. - "Gryffindor!"

All the members of Gryffindor stood up to applaud, as Harry moved to sit next to me.

Professor Dumbledor turns to look at him and raises his glass in a toast.

'The trouble will begin.'
