I'm really in the Doraemon!?

[Note: The system will make its appearance in Chapter 10.] As an average individual, I never imagined that the cliché trope of a truck, often seen in otaku culture, would be the means to transport me into a parallel universe. Initially, I believed that my new surroundings were merely another version of reality, a parallel world. However, much to my surprise, I found myself in the universe of Doraemon—a beloved anime and comic from my previous life. (Note: There will be some difference in novel's timeline and the canon, to have a stable pace. Due to the canon have inconsistent timeline in every episode since it's a kids comics and it almost have the same pace as Detective Conan.) (Read advance chapters in Patreon.com/NewComer714.)

"Phew," I sighed in relief as I shut the door of the dokodemodoor, realizing that it was the United States we had been discussing. The excitement he felt about being in Japan was due to several reasons. Firstly, Japan served as the homeland of the universe's beloved protagonists, Nobita and Doraemon. Secondly, it was renowned as one of the safest countries globally, adding to his eagerness. Lastly, he couldn't help but point out that the U.S. had an abundance of firearms, not to criticize but to highlight the disparity.

Throughout his school life in the U.S., he had lived on high alert, not just concerning potential shooters, but also worrying about the unlikely event of a villain appearing à la Marvel, wreaking havoc out of thin air. I mean, seriously, we're talking about a Doraemon universe here! With the U.S.A. being a part of it, it was almost certain that they would have contact with those geniuses from either the present or future timeline. After all, it's the U.S.A., a place that houses a variety of geniuses, whether they prefer to keep a low profile or bask in the limelight.

I shook my head, chuckling at the wild thoughts, and decided it was time to get some rest.

...

Morning had already arrived, and as I polished off my breakfast, I gleefully informed my parents about my plan to invite my friends over. Much to my delight, they didn't raise any objections. Who could blame them? Ken-chan, my buddy, was quite the capable young lad. In fact, he could practically buy a house with the money he had on hand. It was an astonishing twist of fate, considering no one would have ever guessed that their own child would end up having more money than them.

The story behind this monetary marvel was quite intriguing. You see, Hiro, my dad, had made a promise to use the profits he reaped from his investments in Google to build a nest egg for me. And while this commitment was driven by paternal love more than anything, the cosmic forces of the stock market intervened, causing Google's stock prices to soar. What began as a heartfelt endeavor for his son's financial future quickly turned into a wild success. At first, Hiro entertained doubts about whether he should indeed hand over this substantial sum to me, especially after all the interest and investment-related costs he had covered.

Gradually, Hiro's doubts gave way to a sense of complacency. He couldn't fathom that his child, Ken, a mere kid, could amass a staggering wealth of $1.5 million, which was the amount he had initially invested in Google. Thus, Hiro assumed that he'd hold onto the lion's share of the stocks until his golden years. Little did he know that the winds of change were blowing my way. When I hit the scene with my scripts, selling them for a pretty penny, I managed to cough up half of the original Google investment amount in cold, hard cash.

Hiro found himself in a bit of a pickle, as half the shares were now rightfully mine. That jest he made while navigating the labyrinthine corridors of Google's stock market? It wasn't just a jest anymore—it had evolved into a legitimate part of the family finances. As the days rolled on, my piece of the Google pie grew larger. So here's the kicker: A seemingly innocuous joke, a mere aside during the process of stock trading, had led to this amusing twist of fate where my dad was left grappling with the reality that his 10-year-old offspring had a heftier wallet than his 36-year-old self. The frustration, though, was tinged with affection. After all, Ken was still his cherished offspring.

...

At school, I arrived early. Before the class started, I invited my friends over to my house for a party. They happily agreed, especially Suneo. Ken had once mentioned that his house was a bit smaller compared to his. So, when Suneo was walking down the street, he sneaked a peek at Ken's family's house. Upon looking over, Suneo realized that Ken's family house was indeed smaller, estimating it to be about 4,500 to 5,000 sq ft, a three-story house.

Suneo was excited to show his friends that he, Suneo-sama, was still the richest among them.

"Everyone agreed, huh? That's great. My mom prepared everything for all of you," Ken said with excitement, smiling.

Shizuka nodded enthusiastically.

"Wow, will there be lots of food?" Takeshi stared at Ken with anticipation.

"Of course, there will be," Ken nodded.

"Yay!" Takeshi exclaimed, throwing his fist into the sky with excitement.

"Our family also has a library," Ken mentioned, directing his words to a certain someone, Dekisugi, who was also eager to visit his house.

"Is Nobita invited?" Suneo asked cautiously. In his opinion, there was no need for Nobita to join.

"Yes," Ken nodded, "In fact, I invited them yesterday, right after the welcome party in the open lot ended."

"Eh..." Suneo felt disappointed.

"Why?" Ken asked, looking puzzled.

"Nothing, nothing," Suneo replied with a twitching smile.
