SPIRIT

"Who? Is it Uncle?" I inquire. Is it possible that it's Leo? Is he finished with the eastern border? Maybe Hordes are regulated there, which is why he returned now.

"Yes, Milady, Lord Wixx is waiting for you outside," she murmured, as the footstep faded away. I'm correct Leo arrived, and I immediately washed and dressed myself, with the assistance of Kaniz.

"The Lord must be overjoyed to see you, Milady," Kaniz murmured as she brushed my hair. I grinned and nodded.

It's been almost a month since I awoke in this body. Despite the fact that I am used to living in this house, I don't recall ever calling Leo my uncle. It made me cringe. I think I only addressed him as uncle twice.

I leave my room and enter the audience room. I noticed Leo sipping tea on the sofa.

"You're here," I exclaimed as I dashed towards him.

"Did you miss Uncle?" he said, smiling. I simply nodded in agreement. because it may be weird if I say no right?

"Come, and I'll show you your presents," he said as he led me out to the house, where I saw a carriage full of boxes.

"What are those?" I inquire.

"This is my gift to my lovely niece," he explained. My eyes widen.

All of them? The servants are busy working and transporting the boxes to my room. He's just squandering money. What exactly are those things? it must be nice to have a rich uncle.

I approach one of the boxes and open it. When I saw the magnificent jewelry, my eyes widened. I direct all of the servants to open the package one by one. I went through the entire package and spotted several gorgeous foreign clothes, shoes, hair accessories, and jewelry.

"Is it all mine?" I ask Leo unexpectedly. He laughed and patted my head.

"Yes, I purchased them when I was on the eastern border," he explained. So that's why he's taking so long to return?

"You're wasting your money; how am I going to put all of those things in my room?" I asked, crossing my arms.

"Milady, all of the gifts will fit wonderfully in your room if they are properly arranged," Kaniz stated.

"See, Kaniz will organize everything for you. Don't worry," Leo added, turning to face Kaniz. She flushed quickly. What?

"Kaniz, I didn't get a chance to thank you for looking after my niece," he continued, smiling again. He walks over to the carriage to retrieve something. Kaniz blushed and nodded like it was the end of the world.

Did she fall for Leo?

I raise an eyebrow at her; I'm sure she's sweating and her ears are red-hot. "Kaniz, are you feeling sick?" I asked, shaking her head.

"Here..." Leo remarked, handing Kaniz a box. "...This is to express my appreciation and gratitude for taking care of her."

Kaniz is reluctant to accept it. "Lord, I don't deserve such an expensive present; it is my job to look after her," Kaniz bowed. However, I can clearly see her blushing face.

"I insist, take it," Leo remarked as he grasped Kaniz's hands, startling her. "Take this, Kaniz; I'm sure my sister will appreciate you as well."

Kaniz, on the other hand, refuses to accept it.

"Kaniz, take it. You deserved it," I urged, smiling at Kaniz, who hesitated but returned my grin.

Their hands touched when she was about to receive it. I started to notice Leo's face blushing as well. What exactly are these two up to? Were they in love with each other?

I'm relieved that Kaniz can sense love. But what about this moron? I don't think so. I'm sure he'll only hurt Kaniz.

Why?

because a playboy is always a playboy.

******************************

Kaniz helps the other servants to move my things to my room. she made sure that the other servants wouldn't steal my gifts because that happened earlier when we saw Misi, she thinks it will happen again for the other servants.

Leo and I, on the other hand, went to Pella's Wish.

Pella's wish is a sacred place to be cared for by a beautiful spirit. I just read about it in the book and never visited since I was too preoccupied with my duties as captain. This place was mystical, and the myth was that if you made a wish at the spirit there, it would come true, but it would have significant repercussions.

So perhaps that's why this place is termed Pella's wish. but I never met someone whose wish came true it's just a rumor. On the other hand, that lovely spirit's name is Pella. I didn't realize that this place was this beautiful since I only saw it in paintings, it's warm and peaceful.

If I wish in that spirit? No...it's just a rumor anyway.

As soon we set foot on Pella's Wish Mountain, I was instantly captivated by the breathtaking beauty that unfolded before me. The panoramic view was nothing short of mesmerizing, with a vibrant tapestry of plants and trees blanketing the landscape as far as the eye could see.

The air was filled with the refreshing scent of nature, a mix of earth and foliage that was both invigorating and calming. I could hear the rustling of leaves, whispering secrets of the mountain to anyone willing to listen.

Then, I caught sight of a waterfall, its majesty unrivaled. The sight of the water cascading down the rocks was awe-inspiring. The sound it made, a soft, rhythmic hum, was like a lullaby sung by Mother Nature herself. It was a soothing melody that washed over me, calming my senses and making me feel at one with the surroundings.

Indeed, Pella's Wish Mountain was a paradise, a haven where the beauty of nature reigned supreme. I stood there, lost in the moment, feeling a sense of peace I had never felt before. But I wonder why Leo dragged me here.

"Adelle, It's beautiful isn't it?" Leo said while looking at the waterfalls.

"Yeah...It is," I said. I close my eyes and inhale the scent of the environment. It's such a wonderful and cozy feeling.

"But why did you--" I interrupted what I was saying when suddenly, a strange sensation sent shivers down my spine. I felt a subtle movement near my feet, and my heart skipped a beat. Goosebumps prickled on my skin as I slowly looked down, unsure of what awaited me.

"Aahhhhh!!!"I couldn't stop myself from yelling. because the one slithering at my feet is a vine that has turned me upside down

"U-uncle. get me out of here!" I screamed, pleading for help. Since I was dangling upside down from the tree I didn't have any magic, so I couldn't help myself.

"Hey! Don't make fun of her, she's my niece," Leo said. Who is he speaking to? Could it possibly be the spirit? So Leo has a spiritual connection with her?

When someone said, "Niece?!" I was taken aback. She came down to where I was being hanged in the tree. Is she the beautiful spirit?

"Yes, so put her down," he said calmly.

When the vines put me down to the earth, I can sense the gentleness. I instantly jumped up, shocked by her abrupt appearance in front of me. What the heck?

"You don't look like him," she replied, playing with my hair. I merely smiled uncomfortably and looked at Leo and asked for help.

"Don't worry, she's a nice friend," Leo remarked as he approached me, grabbing my arms and looking at the woman. "You were the first to say that." He said to the woman. Now that I think about it, I'm not so sure. This woman is dressed differently; she is wearing only vines that support her bosoms and lower body. Such exposing attire for a Lady.

I think she's taking shelter at this place.

"Really?" she asked, looking at me and bending her head. "Pardon my harshness earlier, Milady."

I smiled awkwardly and shook my head. "No, it's fine."

She smiled back genuinely and looked at Leo.

"What brings you here?" she asked.
