Armor Enchanting

Enchanting armor was a very normalized practice in the Origin Realm.

From what Sol remembered from the old Sol's memories, having Enhanced armor here in Hllscani was a sign of wealth.

People had to go to special enchanters to get their armor Enhanced. Of course, there were several different types of Enchantments that a piece of armor or clothing could receive.

The most basic Enchantment was called the Green grade. From there, it increased in power as the grades rose.

It went from Green to Yellow grade, and then to the Blue grade, Black grade, Golden grade, and finally, the Crimson Grade.

Of course, most Enchantments in the present day didn't reach higher than the Black grade.

Any enchanters or blacksmiths who could do Black grade Enchantments were highly sought after.

The Golden and Crimson grade Enchantments were considered near impossible to find.

Sol placed his hand over the pieces of clothing that he had displayed on the flat stone in front of him.

He was highly skilled in Enchantment back in the Origin Realm, but his ability to weave his powerful Cursed Ether into his Enchantment allowed for even greater ones.

"Right now, I can't use my Cursed Ether Energy for anything except for soul-related spells, or other smaller exceptions."

He knew this but also knew that he was powerful enough to at least get a Green grade Enchantment by himself without the help of his Cursed Ether.

Hovering over his clothing, his hands began to glow slightly in a culmination of colors.

This was the Ether Energy that he was taking from his core.

Carefully, he began to create an Enchantment on top of his clothing. He had to enter the Zone for this since it was not an easy process--especially for this new body.

Creating an Enchantment was almost no different from creating an Ether array.

An array was a set code of Ether that worked in a way its user intended it to even without the help of the original creator. All it needed was a flow of Ether to activate.

For Enchanting, one had to be skilled enough to create thousands, or even millions of these arrays within the very cells of the armor to fortify it.

Many enchanters trained their entire life to be able to do this. It also took a hefty amount of Ether Energy.

Soon enough, Sol began to create these arrays within the clothing. The Ether flowed into the clothing and hundreds of thousands of miniature Ether arrays began to be formed.

After an hour of standing under the hot sun of the light canopy, beads of sweat trickled down Sol's forehead and the tip of his nose.

However, he was finally done with creating all of the arrays. At that moment, he sucked in a breath of air.

"And now... to curse it." His eyes expanded as his hand began to exude the fast twitching energy of pure pitch-dark purple aura once again.

Before long, it was pouring into his artifacts of clothing.

"Right now, all I am using is pseudo-Cursed Ether. I need to break through the Origin Rank as soon as possible if I want to use my real Cursed Ether Energy... but, even then, it wouldn't be close to my actual Cursed Ether from my past life."

As he spoke his thoughts out loud, he carefully created a series of folds and circles within the already created arrays of the clothing below him using his Cursed Ether.

"The Origin Rank is not just a random Rank. It has nine Stages of cultivation, unlike the others that only have four. This is for a reason. It's because the Origin Rank is where one originates his true Ether Core."

Sol knew what he was planning in his mind.

Whenever one broke through past the Origin Rank into the Ascension Rank, there would be a split moment in time where one's Ether core would be completely destroyed and recreated.

Only in the breakthrough from the Origin Rank would this process ever happen to a cultivator's Ether Core, at least as far as Sol knew.

During this moment, most people's Ether Cores would align with the element affinity that they were born with.

When this happened, the Ether Core would create itself once again when destroyed, like normal, but now, it would be strengthened by its host's element affinity.

This meant that any and all spells regarding that element affinity would then be more accessible, as well as strengthened.

On top of that, the host's core would also be fortified with his specific element affinity.

Sol knew this information, but the only reason he valued it so much was that only during this opportunity would he be able to successfully begin using his real Cursed Ether.

He was going to forcefully infuse his Ether Core with Cursed Ether, causing it to be fortified with that forbidden element.

Once the Ether Core was destroyed and created itself once again based on Sol's Cursed energy, he would be able to begin cultivating it to make it stronger.

He would also get the ability to imbue his Cursed Ether into spells, weapons, and more.

All of this was why he wanted to break through the Origin Realm as quickly as possible.

But, that was for a later date, as he was only at the 5th Stage of the Origin Rank as of now.

At that moment, Sol had finished Enchanting his armor.

"Originally, this piece would have only had a Green grade Enchantment, but with my pseudo-Cursed Ether, it's now equivalent to a Yellow grade Enchantment." He said with a slight grin on his face.

The armor shined in a yellow gleam for a few seconds, as though covered in limestone.

The sparkling glow then dissolved back into the clothing and it returned to its normal state.

Sol put his clothes back on. 'This clothing would have turned into a Unique grade--Cursed grade--if I had my real Cursed Ether. But, for now, this will be good enough.'
