Olivia's POV

"But seriously, you look good putting on the hospital clothes". Lizzy spoke up 

I laughed loudly at her words before we noticed the door of the room open widely, and I met eyes with Rona who has no emotions on his face. 

I smiled at him and watch him walk towards me with a big smile on his face. 

"How are you ?".he asked while he gently stokes my hair with care 

"I'm fine and the pains are gone " 

"Very good ".he kissed my forehead 

"It seems you can't see me here ". Rita murmured playfully like a child. 

We both chuckled at her word 

"Let's give them some space ". Lizzy spoke up and stood up from the chair 

"We will be back ". Rita muttered out those words while staring at Rona with a mischievous smile on his face. 

He rolls his eyes at her before taking a seat beside me 

"How are you ".he asked again 

"I'm fine ". I smiled at him, 

He took my hands and kissed them with love before speaking up 

"I'm sorry ". He murmured, 

"You don't have to ". He did not let those words finish from my mouth before he cut me off 

"Please let me speak" he begged 

I stared at him and could see that he was hurt and in so much pain 

He kissed my hands before speaking up 

"I'm sorry I didn't protect you I was too careless, and you ended hurt, I'm so sorry" 

"This was why I never wanted you close to me because I did not want you getting hurt".he murmured in pain. 

I hissed softly and move my hands away from his, and place my fingers on his face while I run my fingers tips on his face. 

He took in a deep breath and closed his eyes to feel my touch

"I don't wanna stay away from you". I muttered out seriously 

He opens his eyes and stared at me with wild eyes. 

"I want to stay with you no matter what, I'm ready to take any risk just to be with you". I spoke firmly 

He moved closer and softly kissed my lips, I pulled him closer to me and deepens the kiss until I was out of breath. 

He pulled away from me and placed kisses on my cheek and all over my face before sitting back. 

"When will I be going home ?". I asked 

"I'll go get the doctor" 

"I don't want to stay here any longer" 

Rona Chuckled softly and was about saying a word when the door open widely reveling Derrick by the door, he met eyes with me and flash me a weak smile before walking into the room. 

He stood by my side and softly kissed my cheek before sitting beside me 

"How are you ?"he asked while staring at me 

"I'm fine". I smiled at him 

"I'm so sorry I couldn't do anything, my dad was aware of my plans, and he stopped it unknowingly to me ".he muttered out in regrets 

"It's okay". I smiled at him, 

He smiled back at me before staring at Rona and then smiled at me 

"Can I talk to you in private ".he muttered out those words while staring at Rona who gave him an angry look. 

I stared at him and noticed he really wanted to talk to me. 

"Rona",. I called out softly 

He stood up and left the room without me saying anything. 

Derrick hissed softly before speaking up 

"I'm sorry ". He murmured 

"I'm sorry for breaking up with you without hearing from you "he continued 

"These past few weeks I realized I really love you and I can't stay without you, I'm deeply in love with you Oli, I think of you every day, and then I realized I want to be with you and no one else".he muttered out those words like he meant every bit of it. 

I stared at him and could see the sincerity in his eyes, but I knew it was too late, I thought I love two people, but now I realized I loved two people, but I was in love with one person and that is Rona. 

"Say something ".he pleaded 

I hissed softly and thought of a way to say those words to him without hurting his feelings. 

I took a deep breath before speaking up 

"I love you Derrick, I fell in love with you the first day I met eyes with you, and I'm glad we became friends and even dated, I will forever remember those memories and cherish them for the rest of my life". 

I met eyes with him but saw no emotion on his face. 

"I loved you Derrick, but I'm in love with Rona, I'm so sorry". I murmured

Derrick stared at me with pain in his eyes and didn't say a word until he stood from the chair and walk aimlessly in the room.

I hissed softly and sat on the bed while staring at Derrick.

"Why don't you love me?".he asked in pain 

"You are a nice guy Derrick and every one girl will kill just to be with you "

"Then why not you ?".he asked in pain

I swallowed nervously and avoided his gaze in guilt

"What does he have that I don't ?".he asked in pain 

I knew he was talking about Rona, but I did not say a word 

"Tell me what to do, and I will do it, please just be mine ".he moved closer to me and held my two hands. 

"Please, oli, I love you so much ". I stared at him and saw the sincerity in his voice.

I flash him a weak smile before speaking up 

"I can't, I can't force myself to love you when I'm in love with another, I love Rona I can't see myself without him ". I murmured. 

He stared at me but did not say a word.

He turns his back at me and we both kept silent until he turns his back and stared at me 

I met eyes with him and could see tears standing in his eyes.

I felt my heart pound in pain,, but I have to do what is right.

I can't keep deceiving myself when I know my body and soul belongs to Rona.

He moved closer to me and softly kissed me on the lips with so much love and care before pulling away.

"I know you will be happy with Rona, but if he ever treats you badly don't hesitate to call me okay ".he muttered out those words while flashing me a weak smile.

I stared at him with tears in my eyes before speaking up 

"Thank you, Derrick, thanks for understanding". I muttered out those words and pulled him to myself and inhale his manly scent before moving away from him.

He smiled at me and kissed my forehead before walking out of the room.

I hissed in relief and closed my eyes when I noticed Rona walking in.

He walked in and sat on the chair beside me but did not say a word.

I open my eyes and lock eyes with him, he smiled at me and kissed my cheek before speaking up 

"You should get some rest ". I nod my head and drifted to sleep.

Few weeks later 

"Are you happy to go home ?". Lizzy asked.

I roll my eyes at her and stood up from the bed.

"I hate this place, I've been in this place for the past two weeks". I murmured and walked around the room impatiently.

"What food did you prepare for me". I asked while smiling at her. 

She chuckled softly before speaking up 

"Rona cook is the one making the food".lizy spoke up 

"Rona's cook ?". I asked confused. 

" Am I going to his house ". I asked while staring at Lizzy with curiosity.

"Yes, I thought you knew".

"I don't ". I nod my head and pick up my phone to call Rona, it rang a few times before he picks up.

"We are leaving the house now ".he muttered out

"Why didn't you tell me I was going to your house". I asked calmly.

He hissed over the phone before speaking up

"I'm so sorry, I should have told you, I just wanted you to be safe and recover quickly ".he muttered out softly

"It's okay, but I will have to go back to my apartment at least after a week "

Rona kept quiet for a while and I knew he was contemplating on what to say to me 

"Alright, I'll be on my way"

"Alright". I ended the call and kept the phone and sat on the bed. 

"What is it, don't you want to stay in Rona's place?".she asked while staring at me with curiosity

I shake my head and avoided her gaze 

"Then what is wrong ?"

I hissed and roughly ran my fingers through my hair before speaking up 

"I'm scared ". I murmured.

"About what ?". Lizzy asked in curiosity.

"I'm scared that I might not be able to control my feelings if I'm with him ".
