Making things right

 Olivia's POV 

I stood there pointless and speechless. I watch him leave, and I couldn't go after him and tell him he was wrong.

I cared for him just like I did for Rona.

“Has Derick gone “. I heard my aunt voice from behind.

“Yes “. I whispered and went to my room.

I lay on my bed and felt hot tears threatening to fall from my eyes. I took a deep breath and forced them in, 

“Here's your phone”. I looked around and saw aunt at the door.

I stood up from the bed and walk up to aunt, 

“Why are you giving me back my phone “. I asked confused, 

“Because I want you to call Derick”

“You heard everything”. I asked 

“Not all, but I heard the part I wanted to hear, and seriously I wasn't happy with what I heard “.aunt sounded angry

“But I did not say anything “. I replied aunt sounding guilty

“Yes you did not, but your silence was the answer”.

“You broke the young Man's heart”.aunt spoke in a low tune, but I knew she was angry.

“I did not bargain for this, “I shouted on top of my voice.

Aunt stares at me but did not say a word. I left her and went back to my bed .aunt walked to the bed and sat beside me.

“Take your phone, you will need it “.she placed the phone on my hand and stood up .she was about leaving the room when she turned around and faced me, 

“I don't want to see you and that Rona, I don't like him “.

“You are saying this because you don't know him”. I replied, 

Aunt angrily walked up to me and stood before me with so much anger that I haven't seen on her before.

“I don't need to meet with him before I can know his of person, I don't like him from the moment I get eyes with him .and you are not going to seeing him, and it's an order.

I stared at aunt and saw how serious it was, but I can't just accept it.

“I can't”. I whispered

Aunt raised a bow at me before speaking

“You can't what”.she asked.

I swallowed nervously before speaking up,

“I can't stop seeing him”. I murmured.

“You must be joking”.aunt asked angrily, 

“I'm not “. I replied.

I watched as aunt walked around my room with so much anger.

“You won't see him ever again, I don't care if you love him or not”. Aunt spoke angrily.

I wanted to scream and tell her that she was wrong that I didn't love Rona, but I can't stay away from him because of her safety.

“Am I understood”.aunt gave me a serious look before leaving the room.

If only she knew the truth.

I switched on the phone and dialed Derrick's line, but he wasn't picking. I called severally but no response from him, so I decided to text 

“Hey" “Can we at least talk”

“I'm sorry, let me explain”

All my texts were received but no reply from him. Obviously, he was angry at me and I don't blame him for that.

I kept back the phone and lay on my bed. I thought of Derick and wondered what he might be thinking of me by now. I got mad at myself for not stopping him and explain things to him when I should.

I stayed in my room all day trying to reach Derick, but his lines were switched off.

Finally, night came and I went to bed.

I was asleep when I heard a knock on my window. I knew who it was, I stood up from the bed.

I slightly opened the window and saw Rona standing by my window.it was dark, but I could still see how handsome he looks.

“Stop staring”.he teased with a big grin on his face.

I wanted to reply to him and tell him I wasn't staring, but then I remembered all that happened this morning.

“You should leave”. I murmured,

I noticed how suddenly his mood changed and the smile on his face were replaced with shock.

“What's the matter “.his voice was calm, 

“Nothing, you just have to leave”. I tried closing the window, but, he held it back. I tried again, but he was too strong for me.

“Stop this “.his voice was full of command, but there was no anger in it.

“You need to please go “. I begged, 

“And why should I”.he asked in anger.

I stared at him and noticed he was a bit angry, but I won't let that scare me, 

“Please leave”. I shouted.

He stared at me with so much anger while running his fingers on his hair in anger.

“It seems you have forgotten who you are talking to “.his angry voice echo in my room,

“Just become I belittle myself for you, doesn't mean you should forget who you are talking to “.his voice was calm but full of anger. 

“Do you know I can walk to that door and order to see you and your Aunt won't be able to do a thing”.he stared at me with anger.

“Do you know what my men will think seeing me in a window hiding to see a girl, do you know that “.

“I did all this so that you won't get in trouble with your aunt, and here you are, ordering me to leave”.he stared at me and for the first time I saw the Rona I met a month ago.

I got scared and nervously moved away from him.

He locks eyes with me, but I quickly look away.

He closed his eyes for a moment before opening them.

I nervously look at him and noticed his anger was gone, but I was still scared of him.

“Come closer”.his words were command but calm.

I looked at him but did not move an inch.

He ran his fingers in his hair in frustration before speaking up 

“I scared you right”.he asked 

I remove my gaze from him and looked at the floor 

“Little bird “.he called out.

I felt my heartbeat increased, but I still refused to look at him.

He hissed softly before speaking up, 

“I'm sorry I reacted that way “.l knew he was sorry and doesn't mean to get me scared, but I realized I hurt Derick feelings all because of him.

“Say something”.he pleaded,

“Please leave “. I whispered.

“You want me to leave”.he sounded hurt, 

I wanted to say no that l would love him to stay, but the thought of Derick came to my mind and I have to do what was right.

“Yes “. I whispered.

He stared at me and I swear I saw hurt in his eyes before he gently close the window and his figure was our of my sight.
