Ila's feet where killing her. Walking and walking if only she could fly, oh wait she could if only the dryad wasn't so dang heavy. She had flown with Elara before but not very far. Ila had never gotten this tired from walking when she was human she was in good shape. But apparently her succubuses body is very weak and frail. She had to keep reminding her self if they stop every ten seconds or so they won't get anywhere. Walking bare foot on the forest floor was littered with small thorny vines. attempting to walk over them barefoot was a challenge. Cuts covered her feet she just ignoring them. And Most where dead so Elara couldn't control them, to get them out of the way. When they had started it was a bit cool but now the heat became unbearably hot. sweat trench them both. Her dress was becoming a bit see though. The only thing she could try to cover up with was her arms but balance was still a problem. Ila was walking like a small child learning to walk arms stretching out when need be Her wings were of course two heavy weights on her back that got heavier and heavier as they walked. It was however peacefully eerie quite no birds chirps nothing but there panting. It was nice that Elara could be comfortable with silence not trying to make unnecessary small talk. It at least seems to be. Watching her lead the way was entertaining. She had a nice hour glass shape that now shown due to sweat sticking sticking to her dress. Her butt jiggled as she walked. Her dress was shredded but still covered the parts that count to Ila's disappointed. The blood stains where also still there. Ila didn't trust Elara but being in a new place and knowing nothing about it wasn't a good thing either. But at night when Ila pretended to sleep Elara did nothing to harm her and only slept. She had spent the whole night watching her sleep. Smiling at that thought and suppressing her giggle. Then something struck her.
"Are we close? " Ila asked as she felt a flood of life.
"I'm not sure, I just know if we head in this direction we should come across one of their cities or outposts." Elara said.
"Let's take a break. I feel we are close " Ila said.
Elara rose some roots up so they wouldn't have to sit on the thorny ground. Elara had some berries with her to eat her berries and some water. Watching her was nice her long sliver hair kept falling in her face and there wasn't much she could do to keep it in place. The sweat had made her straight hair curl.
Ila was healing her feet using magic it was the same even with out the system, easier even she didn't have to get its permission to use the spells. Then healing Elara feet. Healing magic was the only kind that she had gotten practice with she was very good at it not only healing the wound but the pain of it. No scarring either.
Ila hadn't felt hunger in the last two days of their journey. She felt lust for Elara but not in a hunger as she did before. The need to eat, drink or sleep was non-existent. It was worrying her. She did drink water only because it was part of her past live daily routine only now it wasn't as much. When she had first woken up she was thirsty and hungry. After her meeting with the man her hunger and thirst that seemed to gone away.
Elara chewing was becoming a very noisy and ruining the silence of the forest.
"Could you chew quieter please." Ila said.
" Sorry, would you like some?" She said handing over the bag.
"No thanks." Ila said
She continue to pop the berries into her mouth there seemed to be an endless supply of the berries in the small bag. Elara now chewing very slowly so she could try control the noise.
The sense of the living things where all clustered together to the left of where they were. but guessing how far they where was maybe an hour or two of there walk. It felt like watching bees swarm around and in there hive. Each bee with with different attempts. There where so many different lives small, old, bad, good. Trying to focus on one only brought more into her focus. Perhaps they shouldn't go there. Ila feel how they felt. How and why she didn't know but she knew the fear, love, sadness, hate, disappointment, appreciation, joy and so many more emotions at once. That emulated from the spot it was overwhelming. So many.
Ila's throat felt dry and tight. She felt so heavy suddenly. Her head became hot and her vision blurred into black, She couldn't keep her self up right Ila tried to grab onto something but to no avail. All was black
