Sell a Love Story

— Alexander POV —

I couldn't believe we were about to do this.

When Lilith, completely naked in the bathtub, told me that she wanted the press to see us leaving together, I was floored.

I knew that she and Lexington were running an investigation on Durfort Inc. and it was important that no one knew her identity, I had assumed that because of that she wouldn't want to be seen leaving the hotel with me.

It wouldn't be easy to hide her features.

I mean we could do it, but it was a risk.

Then there was the matter of how she felt about me.

We hadn't talked about the sex or the fact that we spent the night together.

Was it purely physical for her? Or maybe could she see something more happening between us?

I wanted more. I'd always want more, but I'd take whatever she could give me and I would cherish it.

"You look gorgeous Miss Lilith!" Frances, her hairstylist, said as she gave Lilith one final look over.
