Shen Xinglan, who had improbably agreed to let Huo Shiyan move back into the master bedroom, took advantage of Huo Shiyan's video conference call to make her escape.
She drove to Shen Mansion, picked up Liu Zhixue, and the two went for afternoon tea.
Looking at the distracted Shen Xinglan, Liu Zhixue teased, "What's wrong? Falling for Huo Shiyan?"
"No, stop talking nonsense." Shen Xinglan immediately denied it, her head snapping up.
She was not falling in love; she was merely unsure how to face the situation. Hence, she asked her best friend out for afternoon tea.
Liu Zhixue, who had been through the same, simply smiled and didn't push. This was something that the captain of their ship had to deal with herself, no matter how much outside advice she received.
