Chapter 34

Title: Heaven's Arena...

….

-Sub POV-

After embarrassing Karla for a little bit, I finally went out of the shower. She isn't someone who understands anything about life or love. She simply doesn't know how to and doesn't have the experience.

Still, it doesn't matter, I just put on my clothes and call out to her. "Karla! We are going to Heaven's Arena and fight some more Nen users. This way it can help us develop our Nen and we will get more experience fighting against them."

"Okay!" Responds Karla with an embarrassed yelp on her voice when I called out to her.

I smirk slightly at that. I have been training quite a lot... as always.

But my Nen isn't getting stronger, I guess I am still only nine years old so I also shouldn't go around expecting to be able to contend with someone like Netero or creatures of that calibre.

It takes two months for me, Karla, Azula, and Ogre to arrive at Haven's Arena. Though we got attacked by some mafia thugs along the way. We took care of them…

Well, Karla did by putting them under her control and having them go back to the mafia and telling their bosses that we weren't there. We already have over fifty members of the mafia under our control.

Anyway, looking at the weirdly structured tower I couldn't help but be a little impressed. 

Karla, on the other hand, is just looking around, in the end, she looks at me and with a slight blush on her face, she asks me.

"Hey, are you free today? Would you like to go shopping with me?" I see that she is nervous asking me that.

I just nod at her, immediately she yells out of happiness.

….

Ten minutes later her mood takes an opposite turn as me, her, Azula, and Ogre are all shopping together. Azula looks at Karla and asks. "Would you like this?"

She then shows Azula a white sailor schoolgirl uniform. Karla is bored by the trip and just looks at me. "Can we go back and enter the Heaven's Arena now? I wanna fight something."

I shrug at that. "Sure, let's go."

I know that she wanted me and her to have some alone time. But this is way more entertaining to me.

Anyway, I and Karla registered in the arena, while Ogre and Azula would register later on. We simply didn't want to impair each other progress while we fought, we didn't want to fight against each other.

….

My first opponent is a guy who seems to be a sumo wrestler or something. He is huge…

He looks at me and sees that I am a kid. I notice that he is about to say something. But when he looks at my eyes, he seems to notice something. In the end, he has a serious look on his face as he takes a wide arm sumo stance.

I just look at him and don't say anything until the referee calls out. "Begin!"

I immediately move at my top speed and slightly slap the sumo wrestler in the face.

He is immediately thrown out of bounds, but because I only slapped him lightly he was alive but unconscious. 

….

After my fight, Karla has the same fighting style as mine. She took out her opponent by just slapping him in the face. He seemed like some martial artist… pretty much he moves in a fancy way. In real life, most martial arts are useless, especially in Nen battles since due to your ability it will only actually weaken you. Martial arts only have a set of moves that are easy to recognize and each of them has a movement pattern together with a weakness. For example, no matter what type of high kick, one leg has to go high one has to be on the ground.

Now if a Nen user had a cutting ability and cut your leg under you and just simply kill the one who thought Martial Arts are useful for a Nen User. Unless it is a self-made martial art, made for yourself and your Hatsu Ability, then it is most likely going to hinder the user in a Nen battle. After all, even instincts that are developed during martial arts training are going to hinder someone. Sure someone can incorporate a move from a martial art that allows a punch to hit better or something. But he must never make it an instinct to punch that way, for the next time that could hinder him in a fight. 

If someone punched me that way to maximize damage he is only wrecking his hand more due to my strong defenses. 

Anyway, as Karla finishes her match we register for another one.

I and her fight against opponents for the next couple of days and it doesn't take us long to reach level 100 where we each gain our rooms. We both always ended our fights in one simple hit. Either a punch, kick, slap, etc…

It takes me and Karla around one month before we made it to the 200th floor. I and she are currently conversing on what we will do next.

"Cmon now Sub~ You should be more helpful during these matters. So what do you think I should wear, red or black?" Asks Karla with her usual enthusiasm that she talks to me with.

"I don't really care…"

"Then what is your favorite color?"

"I dunno… purple or red I guess…"

"Okay then, I will start wearing purple and red from now on."

As we go to register the 200th-floor fights. We both continue talking casually, even as we notice the weakling Nen users looking at us from the sidelines. 

We don't look at them or acknowledge them at all. As soon as we register one of them who seems like a delinquent comes at me and Karla and interrupts our conversation by asking.

 "When did you register to fight little guy?"

He has a threatening smile on his face as he asks that.

I and Karla just keep walking and one of them tries to put a hand on my shoulder. 

*Cough*

But suddenly he coughs up blood, falling on the ground as his chest is caved in. I and Karla still don't pay any attention to them, they couldn't even see my kick hit the guy's chest.

They are the weaklings here, so they don't need to get arrogant now. So I just look at them and say. "You will all register to fight every week during Sunday or else…"

BoOm!!

My Nen comes out of my body explosively and covers them all. "...or else you are all dead."

That is all I said as I brought my Nen back in my body and continued walking away again.
