Hunt part 1

When we were coming out, Professor Miao was standing in our way looking at us. Min Shi was excited seeing her as she was close with Miao and treated her as an elder sister but both Aron and me realised what the issue is, Finding us at hunter pavilion before the ceremony was very detrimental specially when all three of us should not be here.

"How did all of you awaken together without the age of ceremony?" Miao asked with a serious expression. Miao is a B rank hunter and was from the inner city so for her also this was surprising and she would not let go of this matter without knowing.

I was still thinking what should the response should be when I heard Aron answering her "My father had a friend in inner city who likes to collect antiques, he apparently had the crystal of awakening so my father borrowed it and I let them use it too."

"But still how did all of you awaken together?" Miao asked

"Well we all drank body strengthening fluid and had lot of D rank hunter meat." I answered

Miao still did not believed him as they were just a contributing factor, even after that it should be impossible for all 3 of them to awaken when they failed the first time but Miao could not force it out of them as there is a very small possibility that it might be a coincidence but Miao's instincts told her otherwise.

"We should go now, we are getting late" I did not wanted to wait anymore to create more doubt.

I was happy with Aron's quick wittiness, we all had very less time and lot of preparation to do so Aron and Min Shi went different way and i proceeded to the supermarket.

Even If i cultivate more, it would be very slowly and since both of them are training, it would be better if I get used to my current strength and get some combat experience. I picked up the basic packaging food and some basic healing medicines to fill up my back pack.

Currently i need money for resources, in short term Aron can help but when we start growing stronger even his family will fall short in accumulating that so its better to depend on oneself from start only.

The exit of outer city was about 15km from here, I took the cab to the exit. The outer city was covered with 20 feet walls and wrapped electric wire on top of it. The wire always had the 2000 voltage running in it, which can easily kill or hurt D rank monsters and below.

To go outside the city one needs to be an E rank hunter at least. F rank hunters and normal humans were not allowed as they will probably die as soon as they exit. I showed my hunter card to the guard who warned me to be only in the outer perimeter of the forest. The more you enter the stronger the beast would be.

Generally, on same level E rank monster would be stronger than hunter because of their natural instincts. Based on my strength, I am currently as strong as medium level E rank so lets go for D rank monsters today. No need to take unnecessary risk for now.

Xian Yu ignored the system and entered the forest. After travelling for 2 hours, he finally reached the outer perimeter of forest. Xian Yu has never hunter before so he was not sure how he will be when facing the monster.

I was walking very slowly making sure not to make any sounds, when he heard a little a small noise, he followed that noise and found 2 rabbits eating on the meat of an animal what looks like a dear. These rabbits were white in colour but had few red stripes on their body, there was a small red horn on their body which was about 6 inches. I am sure if it stabbed me, I will probably die.

This was an E rank monster on low level, but their agility and reflexes were a bit higher than monsters on that level. I picked up a small rock and threw it in a different direction, both the horn rabbits looked at each other then one of them went towards the sound of noise.

As soon as the other rabbit was not in sight, i took both the daggers out and slowly went behind the horned rabbit who was still eating, when I was one meter away from him, I slashed my dagger to target its neck, the moment the dagger was few inches away from it, the horned rabbit made a sudden jump to dodged and took some distance from me.

"Fuck missed it" before I could do anything, the monster made a creepy sound to call the other monster. I would have to kill it, if the other one came It would make things very difficult for me.

The horned rabbit suddenly jumped towards me while pointing the horn towards my shoulder. I crossed my dagger to block the horn and kicked its body with my full force. it was thrown towards the tree, the horned rabbit turned its body to use the tree as the wall and made another jump towards me this time aiming at my head, I was about to dodge it when the other rabbit came and attacked my leg.

I made another strike towards the rabbit who just attacked me, finally cutting his head.

My right leg kept bleeding restricting my movement, when the other horned rabbit saw the opportunity to attack it jumped again, this time I picked the corpse of the previous one threw at it and without wasting any second before it could get up, i stabbed it 5 times.

When the first attack landed on Xian Yu, he got really scared about it and could feel his heart in his mouth, the attack after that was made unconsciously to save himself.

I am so fucking tired, I lied down there itself to catch my breath, I took the healing potion out of my back pack and drank it one gulp, which stopped the bleeding but the pain was still there.

I can't believe this was just E rank low level, It almost killed me.

After resting for half an hour, Xian Yu extracted the horns of the monster which he could sell later on and started preparing the meat to cook. After eating the meat, Xuan felt his strength returning back to him, making him fulfilled.

He finally remembered the system notifications which came when he killed the monsters, he opened the system interface to check that and there was another option as shop present in it. When he opened it, he could see many objects with different prices such as company manuals, speed manuals, healing medicines and many other pills.

He only had 20 points right now which was not enough to buy anything but he still kept scrolling to go through everything, suddenly he saw the rebirth pill which could cure any and all illness, if someone's leg is cut, it can create it again. Its cost was 1000000 system points which was way too much for current him.

There was another option for selling objects, he picked the horns of the monsters and asked system to sell it, since currently he had Aron, he can use this to make system points.
