Chapter: Into The Trap

A trail of blood was left behind in his wake. The heads of both Chimera and Apocrypha alike rolled horrifically across the pavement. Zane calmly walked forward through the base of the Apocrypha— his hands buried in his pockets and a nonchalant expression cast over his face.

Every challenger that approached him was killed in a mere instant. Though they were all Ranks 1 to 4, it was still an impressive feat by Zane.

Zane had not originally planned on fighting the Apocrypha the moment he arrived. However, in his defense, they had attacked him first. Thankfully, the Apocrypha and Chimera were all too prideful to attack Zane with weapons. They thought they could easily overpower him without the use of any weapons since he was still part-human and most of all, alone. This was their very downfall.
