Chapter: A 2v2

Zane and Layla had been hit with the unexpected. Two powerful Chimera, one being that of the Hydra and the other a cyclops now stood before them.

Filtering through his victims' memories, Zane realized that Cyclops were one of the more powerful Rank 5 Chimera. However, Zane was certain that he could defeat the creature in combat. His major issue lied with the Hydra.

The Hydra had nine heads, two tails, and was the overall size of a modern-day house. Its body dragon-like, lined with glistening scales that covered its dark skin and it had four feet which were also like that of a dragon. The features that mostly stood out were a dark-purple aura that seemed to circle its body as it breathed and the sound of its nine heads which sounded extremely similar to that of rattlesnakes.

"Zane... I think we're going to need help..." Mumbled Layla feeling intimidated.

"I hate to admit it, but I think so too..."
