Chapter 63: Serve

Looking at the mansion in front of him, Arthur asked,

"Are you sure your boss Alia is here right now?"

"Yes, I'm very sure. Boss Alia spends her days here and returns to her place at night. No one knows the location of her secret place," Scarface answered hesitantly.

He continued, "But this is our headquarters. I'm just a minor leader. Several powerful wizards should also be here."

Arthur strangely smiled; he didn't care about this bunch of lowly dark wizards.

They were not trained pure-blood Death Eaters but only ordinary wizards involved in shady activities.

They didn't even have the qualifications to join Voldemort.

Arthur thought he needed these low-level wizards from different backgrounds to help with his plans, so he decided to make this trip.

Without hesitation, Arthur pushed open the gates of the mansion and walked straight in.

He entered the main entrance of the mansion without stopping.

When Scarface opened the door, Arthur went inside and found five or six wizards.

One person clearly recognized Scarface and approached to greet him.

"Hills? What brings you here, and who's that person next to you..."

Before he could finish his sentence, Arthur used a Petrificus Totalus spell to disable the person, freezing him in place.

The remaining people realized that the newcomer posed a threat and immediately drew their wands, aiming them at Arthur.

At that moment, a lazy and charming voice came from the second floor.

"Welcome to Alia Manor, dear guest. But to attack my people immediately, is your temper too hot?"

Arthur looked up and saw a charming blonde woman gracefully descending the staircase.

Alia appeared to be in her twenties, but she oozed an air of maturity that contrasted with her cute face. Her stunning figure was highlighted by a fiery red gown, making her an extraordinary beauty.

The wizards downstairs were captivated and charmed upon Alia's arrival.

Arthur was somewhat surprised to see such a beautiful woman in Knockturn Alley, let alone as the leader of a faction.

However, his surprise lasted only a moment before he regained his composure.

Through his black robe, Alia couldn't sense Arthur's expression, and she couldn't quite figure out this wizard's intentions.

But seeing that she still had many followers around, she didn't panic.

"Dear guest, I don't know how my Alia family has offended you, but I can apologize on their behalf and offer compensation," she said politely.

Hearing her warm words, Arthur felt that she was reasonable. So he expressed his demand.

"Your subordinates attacked me and robbed me. As compensation, I want your family to serve me."

???

Alia was full of question marks at this point.

'Did this person have some sort of mental illness?'

One of her subordinates couldn't help himself. This person petrified one of their brothers as soon as he entered, and now he expected them to submit.

Did he really think they were pushovers?

Immediately, he cast a curse at Arthur.

"Crucio!"

Without even looking, Arthur waved his sleeve, and the attack was blocked by a Shield Charm.

Then, he lightly opened his mouth, and a green spell shot out, hitting the dark wizard. He fell to the ground, completely lifeless.

The other wizard's faces changed, and even Alia lost her stunning smile. Her expression became serious.

'Where did this dark wizard come from?'

He attacked without warning, using the Killing Curse silently and wandlessly. What was most outrageous was that he whispered a Killing Curse with his mouth.

Arthur didn't want to waste any more time with them. His wand appeared in his hand, and he waved it lightly.

Everyone's wands flew out of their hands and landed in front of him.

"I won't say it a second time. Submit to me, and I will show you a higher benefit," Arthur's deep voice came from under his black robes, carrying a heavy pressure.

The rest of the people in the room were frightened by his display, and silence surrounded them.

He was strong, too strong. He killed someone without a sound and effortlessly disarmed everyone.

There was no room for resistance.

Alia forced a smile on her face and spoke.

"Sir, your power is already so strong that our Alia family can't be of any use to you. Why don't you go to the Frank or Ramsay family?"

Even at this moment, this woman was still thinking about drawing disaster away from herself.

A green light flashed in Arthur's eyes. Suddenly, everyone in the room, except for Alia and Scarface Hills, fell to the ground, squirming in agony.

"You have ten seconds to make a decision. After ten seconds, their life or death depends entirely on your choice."

"Ah!"

"Spare me!"

"Leader! Save us."

Watching her subordinates squirming on the ground, Alia's expression changed constantly.

She knew that if she refused, no one in this mansion would survive.

In the end, she surrendered.

"Sir, you have won. The Alia family will be loyal to you and serve you."

Alia didn't want her lifelong efforts to be ruined instantly, and this cloaked figure was so powerful, perhaps he could really show her a different world.

Her lifelong wish was to lead her family out of Knockturn Alley, that horrible gutter, and become a force to be measured with, no less than those ancient pure-blood families.

Seeing her understanding the situation, Arthur was quite satisfied. He stopped casting the Cruciatus Curse on the others and returned their wands.

The group of people looked at Arthur in fear. Even if they had their wands now, they had no intention of resisting.

The piercing pain from earlier still remained in their bodies, and if they made any wrong move, no one could guarantee that the next person lying on the ground wouldn't be themselves.

Reaching into his pocket, Arthur took out a piece of parchment.

"Sign this contract, and you will be my followers."

Alia didn't hesitate at all and signed her name on the contract. The others also followed.

"You're signing so quickly? Aren't you afraid I might set some traps?"

Seeing Alia's eagerness, Arthur was surprised this time.

"With your power, if you really wanted to deal with us, there would be no need to go through all this trouble. And since I have pledged my loyalty to you, I have no intention of going back on my word. I believe a powerful wizard like you wouldn't deceive us."

Examining this woman carefully, Arthur didn't expect her to have such determination, and it was no wonder she had built up an influential foundation in this cannibalistic world of Knockturn Alley.
