Chapter 58: Contract Magic

The next day, Arthur woke up from a nightmare.

In the dream, countless Ravenclaw girls were rushing at him one after another.

Cho and Hermione were beside him, smiling and watching Arthur with those girls. But when only Arthur was left, they raised the swords in their hands and started discussing a distribution plan...

Even after Arthur finished washing up, he still had a lingering fear.

"You don't need to worry, actually," Arthur spoke up, catching the attention of the twins and Cho.

"This letter is basically a contract magic," he explained. "Once this letter is in your hands, you have entered into an agreement with the Ministry of Magic, and they will monitor your surrounding magical activity. If no other wizards are present around you and magical fluctuations happen, it will be linked to your use of magic."

After Arthur finished speaking, Cho, Fred, and George began to think.

"So, what you're saying is, if there are adult wizards close by, even if I use magic, they won't be certain it was me?" Fred hesitantly asked.

"That's correct," Arthur confirmed.

At that moment, George suddenly remembered something.

"Fred, don't you remember when we accidentally pushed Ron out of the window, and you instinctively used the levitation charm? The Ministry didn't send any letters to me that time."

Arthur's mouth twitched as he listened. Ron seemed to be going through some rough times.

It's truly incredible that a brother like that can still survive until now.

"That's right! George, Mum was at home that day, and she gave us a good beating," Fred added.

Once they understood this thought, the twins' faces lit up with smiles. Their summer wouldn't be boring after all.

"I'll go and say hello to Harry and the others. I'll sit with them for a while," he said.

Cho trusted him and nodded in understanding.

Arthur walked out of the room, wiping off a cold sweat.

In fact, he was going to find Hermione. He had already planned how to approach the topic of Hermione with Cho.

It seemed he would have to use the art of time management.

Arthur arrived at Hermione's compartment, where the young witch sat in his embrace, chattering excitedly about the books she wanted to read during the summer.

Finally, the train stopped at Platform 9¾ at King's Cross Station. It took Arthur and the others a long time to make their way out of the platform.

An old man stood there, allowing only two or three people to pass at a time to avoid attracting the attention of Muggles.

After Arthur and Cho passed through the platform, they saw a couple waving towards them. The man had an Asian face and looked strong, while the woman was a gentle and beautiful lady.

"Dad, Mom!" Cho cheered and ran over, diving into the woman's embrace.

"You must be Arthur, right? Cho often mentioned you in her letters."

Cho's father spoke up, his eyes repeatedly checking Arthur as if trying to see what this boy had that could sway his daughter.

"Hello, Sir," Arthur nodded stiffly, feeling the unfriendly gaze from Cho's father. He felt that this was more tormenting than facing Voldemort in a duel.

"Don't scare the child," Cho's mother slapped Cho's father on the head, instantly transforming his cold expression into a look of helplessness, unable to be angry or say anything.

"I'm Autumn's mother, you can call me Aunt Helen," Cho's mother said.

Arthur instantly understood the behavior of this family and pretended to be surprised as he spoke, "So you're really Cho's mother! I wasn't sure earlier; you look as young as her sister."

Helen Zhang was satisfied by Arthur's words and immediately grew closer to him, continuously inviting him to visit their home.

Naturally, Arthur accepted the invitation.

Finally, after bidding farewell to Cho and her parents, Arthur returned to his own home.
