Chapter 241 : In The Game Now 2

Orion after much contemplation finally decided to leave his cosy hotel and all the manga and games he got his hands on after coming here, to go on servant hunting. 

There are currently 6 active servants out there. Gilgamesh, Saber, Lancer, Assassin, Rider and lastly Caster. 

Out of all he only planned to get his hands on only 4 of them. He doesn't want Caster as that guy will be more trouble than he can handle. The same is the case with Gilgamesh. 

Saber Lancer and Rider are just a little too loyal to their master but there is always a possibility of his magic changing things around for him. Lastly, the best target for him would be none other than Assassin.

Finding Caster and his master's location might be hard for others but not for him.

As such he found himself in an eerie-looking forest, full of fog and magical energy filled here. 

"This place sucks, even the forbidden forest was better than this," Orion muttered as he made his way ahead, navigating here was hard thanks to how much fog and magic was here. 

"Ahasaaa." Suddenly he heard a voice making him perk up. 

Orion reacted quickly as he almost vanished from his place with the help of force speed which was now much faster, maybe similar to Soru from One Piece or Shun Shin from Naruto. 

Orion's Irises as soon as he entered the dark forest changed from being their beautiful blue to dangerous looking slid yellow. Resembling a Dragon's eyes. His smelling ability was enhanced while his entire body was aware of what was happening around him, thanks to the spider traits. 

All those traits now gave him many passive boosts which he never counted but were enormous in nature. 

This was the reason why Merlin never suggested Orion to do any kind of ritual. Rituals are created for this kind of stuff, getting traits or powers of this kind which are more biological in nature rather than magically required rituals. 

But those rituals come at a cost, just look no further than Voldy to understand the consequences of their dangers. But Orion is super lucky in this regard. He gets traits of the animal or beast he absorbs, and that too without paying anything back.

'Merlin surely would have grumbled about this power of mine being unfair.' Orion smirked as he finally arrived from where the voice came. 

He only found a little child trying to run but just circling the area. 

'Sigh, his senses are compromised. 

This is not normal fog, its magical in nature. Trapping us here, making use lost our sense of direction.' Orion shook his head as he slowly made his way towards the kid. 

"Hey kid, you alright," Orion asked as he saw the terrified look on the kid's face. 

With a sudden jolt, the kid snapped back to Orion and immediately made the distance. He first saw it wasn't the creepy uncle who kidnapped him and relaxed as he might get help from someone but upon seeing Orion's slid snake-like eyes, he was terrified. 

"Oops, sorry." Orion realized this immediately and internally kicked himself. Turning his eyes back to normal he slowly squats down to the kid's level. 

"Don't worry. These eyes you see are a power I use to see at night. That's how I came to you." Orion tried to salvage the situation but the kid was looking very warry at this point. 

'Sigh.' 

"Say kid, do you believe in magic." Orion smiled as he snapped his finger suddenly a small butterfly made of patronus came out of his hand. It was small and made out of light, looking very pretty but more than anything it had a calming effect. It was Patronus after all. 

Slowly the small butterfly flew to the little boy. The boy looking at the butterfly almost flinched but soon the calming magic acted up and he relaxed. 

The butterfly started to roam around the kid making him giggle. 

"You can do magic." the kid asked in a timid voice to which Orion just smiled and nodded. 

"Yup, wanna see more magic ?" Orion had a bright smile on his face and asked to which the boy after a bit of hesitation nodded. 

"Good, so how about we first do something about all this fog? Want it gone and lighten this place up a big." Orion stands up as he smirks. 

"Yes please." The kid didn't understand but if the big brother could do that and make the darkness go away then sure. 

"Great. So here see this." Orion smiles as he brings both of his hands close. 

'AH, this feeling. Being able to control magic from both hands is just another level of satisfaction, I missed this.' Orion smiled as he felt his powerful magic once again running on his left hand.

"ALL MIGHTY PUSH," Orion said as he widened his hands while making sure that he was not putting too much power into the spell, he just needed to disperse the fog, not the entire forest. 

Nothing happens. 

The boy looks at this with a strange look...

Wanting to say something he was about to open his mouth but before that wind started to shift. Suddenly the pressure around him changed and it felt like a hurricane was emitting out of the big brother in front of him. 

The wind was so strong that it almost made him fly away. More focus on 'almost'.

The kid closed his eyes and covered his face to protect himself from the hurricane but by the time he opened his eyes again after the hurricane was gone. His eyes widened. 

The entire forest was free of fog. The fresh air of the forest with a little chilled in the air was lingering around them. Making his gape from his mouth. 

Orion just smiled as he once again raised his hands. This time magic acted up and multiple small orbs of light came out of his and multiple as they floated higher in the air. Making the entire place lid up. 

"WOH," Kid's eyes widened as he saw the entire forest slowly lighting up under those countless multiple orbs. 

"Hehe, What I say to ya. I got magic. 

Now you believe me ?" Orion asked with a smile on his face. 

The kid nodded. 

"Good, now if you don't mind, I have some questions to ask," Orion said with a smile on his face.

While this was happening, back at Emiya's base, Kayneth came with his sorcery and alchemy weapon which looked like a silver slime. 

In the anime, the situation was much different considering that both Saber and Lancer were present in the forest to fight off against Caster. 

But here the reality was different. 

Due to Orion seriously harming Kiritsugu, he was still unconscious. Meaning he can't defend himself.

In this case, Saber has to stay by her master's side to protect him. The position of Lancer was also changed. Upon seeing that Saber wasn't going after Caster, Kayneth knew that she would be protecting Emiya. 

Meaning he will first have to fight off against a servant. This was a problem for him of course so he decided to pull Lancer back from his search for Caster and go after Emiya first. 

After all, an extra command seal is good but killing a Master is even better. His own safety matters quite a bit here.
