Chapter 51 Match

9th November 1991.

It's a beautiful morning, perfect weather for a Quidditch match. Harry sat at the very end with Oscar in the Hufflepuff stand waiting for the match between Gryffindor and Slytherin to start, he and Oscar are the only ones sitting in the last row.

Harry didn't really want to sit in Slytherin stand to support his brother but he also couldn't sit in the Gryffindor stand. So he chose to sit with the badgers for today's game. It also helps that he is currently avoiding Greengrass.

But all of his efforts were for nothing because he sees Daphne and Tracey making their way towards them. Harry doesn't understand what goes on in that girl's head. Even after knowing her for years he still doesn't understand her.

"Potter! This is a nice spot you found here. Don't mind if we join you." Daphne says as she forcefully sits in between Oscar and him.

"What do want Greengrass?" Harry asked but Daphne ignored his question.

"The view is also better from here. Who would have guessed that the badgers have a better view of the grounds from here."

This time Harry ignored her and stayed silent. Pretty soon it turned into a waiting game, him against an eleven-year-old so of course, Harry won.

"Potter! How can you sit here? You are the one who got our star chaser and main seeker banned from Quidditch on your first day. Now you won't even sit in the Slytherin stands, why must you make everything so difficult for me." Greengrass yelled after losing her patience.

"I didn't ban them. They should have not acted like arses that day."

"Who cares about how they act? Now we don't have a proper team and your damn brother is on the opposite team."

"I didn't realise it before but you're pretty immature aren't you Greengrass? You can't handle losing at anything."

Somehow hearing this Greengrass turned completely silent. Harry enjoyed the newfound silence until the match finally started.

Harry watched his brother Charlie take off like the rest of the players. Harry and Charlie look pretty similar to one another, if it wasn't for the height difference and his brother's glasses, Harry and Charlie would look like twins with just different coloured eyes. From a distance, Charlie looks like a less skinny version of Harry from his first year in the previous timeline.

In the Gryffindor stands Harry could see that his father, uncle Sirius and grandfather are sitting next to his mother and Rose cheering for his brother. Harry couldn't help but smile, his family is here to support his brother.

Everything was going well, the match was pretty exciting but suddenly Charlie's broom started wobbling in the air on its own. After looking carefully Harry felt a jinx and counter jinx being performed on his brother's broom.

Harry quickly turned to Quirrell, the troll might have been Quirrell's doing but being able to wandlessly cast a jinx on a broom at this distance that his flying around at such speed, this is all Voldemort. But why Charlie? If anything Voldemort should try to attack him or Neville.

Harry is pretty sure that Voldemort doesn't properly remember that night, having your soul ripped out of your body is not a fun experience and can cause all kinds of problems. So Voldemort at best should have foggy unclear memory of that night and nothing more.

But now is not the time to worry about why. Voldemort is attacking his brother for some reason but he can't do anything for now. Snape is already applying the proper counter jinx if Harry tries something now it can mess with Snape's counter jinx.

Harry kept his eyes trained on Charlie, ready to use his telekinesis to catch his brother if he falls off his broom. Just like last time, Hermione knocked over Quirrell on her way to set Snape's robes on fire.

While Harry kept his eyes on Quirrell to prevent him from doing anything his brother caught the snitch and Gryffindor won the match.

Harry sees his mother talking with Snape as everyone else is celebrating, it seems like his mother also noticed that something was wrong with Charlie's broom during the match.

This is the second time that one of his siblings was put in danger due to Voldemort, it seems Harry has to teach the Dark Lord that he is not as untouchable as he thinks just because he is spirit clinging to this world.
