WAYS TO TRAIN A RUDE SISTER-IN-LAW

Tife, a girl of 18-year old decided to join her brother, Kola in the city after graduating from high school, so as to have the opportunity to further in her academics since her parent couldn't afford to do that, her mother advised her to stay with her brother. 

Her brother's wife, Tolani gave her a warm welcome as she was so happy having her around, she thought to herself that she had eventually have someone that would be assisting her in some chores and also to gist with whenever she is alone at home. She showed her around the house and told her to feel at home. 

A week after Tife's stay in the city, Tolani, her brother's wife asked her to get some groceries from the market as she was about to leave for work, but she immediately refused without thinking it through, she thought to herself that how could her brother's wife send her on an errand? She believed it was an insult which reflected in her appearance. The wife ignored her without picking a fight and eventually went to the market on her way coming back from the office to get what she needed as that was her normal routine.

Tife tried her best to create rifts between the couple while staying with them, she always report issues to their parents, her behavior wasn't strange to her mother since they lived together for so many years, the mother advised her to be of good character and not destroy what makes her brother happy. She always deliberately rejected her brother's wife Tolani, each time she needed her assistance, to an extent that the wife couldn't tolerated her behavior any longer and later reported her to her husband. 

Meanwhile, earlier before Tife decided to join them in the city, he had already told his wife, Tife's bad behavior and how she was a manipulative being, he had initially told her not to allow Tife to come stay with them, but the wife doesn't take to her husband's advice, she made sure she convinced her husband how she studied psychology and with her experienced so far, she would be able to handle her.

Kola, Tife's brother called Tife's attention to what his wife told her and told her never to repeat such attitude again and also continue that he must not hear about any unruly character from her ever again, but Tife turned a deaf ears to her brother's warning, saying that he was taking his wife's side. The wife shimed in and advised the brother to let her be and that they should just ignored her, they both decided to let her be and only focus on their way of life.

One fateful day, Tife insulted her brother which resulted to her brother collecting her phone from her as a way of instilling discipline in her, he requested for her password which she didn't release at first but later gave in after few days because her brother Kola told her that he wouldn't release her phone to her unless she release her password. Her brother went through her conversations on social media and discovered so many shocking things that she was doing. Her brother was so disappointed at her to the extent that he called the attention of other family members, his mum, dad, his elder sister and one closest head of the family. He played everything that she had done on her phone, like making sex videos, reporting her wife's movements and everything about him to the guy she is dating. He also discovered that the guy just gave her another iPhone which is more expensive than the one she was using, everyone present was surprised to hear all of that regarding Tife, they all said they never knew she had destroyed her life this far. They told her to call the guy in the presence of everyone, the head of the family spoke with him by asking him if he's ready to marry Tife before they knew what to do, her boyfriend said that he's also not ready for marriage as he was still a student. The family head continues with his conversation and asked him why they were both doing rubbish on the phone when they were both not ready for marriage. The guy apologized and told said it on phone that they were just friends.

Kola emphasized the main reason for calling the meeting was for them to know what she has been doing and the insults she had been given to his wife. He made it clear to the family members that he could no longer allow her to stay with him. The family members pleaded and also pleaded to Tolani (Kola's wife) to please try to tolerate her for the time being. Tolani requested to permit her to contribute to all that has happened, she greeted the family members present, she said that if they really want changes from Tife, they should just support her in any way she would handle the situation, she promised the family members that she would treat her like her own sister and discipline her if she behaves wrongly. She also mentioned that they should stop interfering if they truly want the best from her, they all supported the wife and promised not to interfere on how she handle things and they also pray that God would change Tife for better and really hope she could change her ways for her to have a brighter future. 

Tolani makes new rules for her to follow, she told her that where there's no rule, there's no sin. She mentioned her likes and dislikes, she also warned her not to repeat her bad attitude if she wanted to live peacefully in the house. She continues enlightening her on how to live a good life, full of respect for elders and love, a life void of hatred for each other, a life that she would be proud of and give glory to God. She mentioned her immediate sister as an example, that Tife should look at her sister's way of life and follow her footsteps. 

The next day, Tife answered her brother's wife immediately she called her, she did her chores as expected for like one week and started her unruly behavior again but the wife gave her back to back she doesn't let any bad thing she does slide, either she gave her dirty slap or she advise her on how life is. Tife became so close to her brother's wife, to the extent that her brother couldn't believe what was happening. She turned a good leaf and always seek for the wife's advice before taking any step. She registered for WAEC and JAMB that same year, which the wife supported her by enrolling her for the classes and also ensure full monitoring. She sat for the WAEC first and had nine(9) credits in all the subjects. She registered for JAMB using one sitting with the just concluded WAEC. When it is time for the JAMB, she was transferred to another city to write the exam which the wife followed her in other for her not to be distracted. Tife also have developed trust in her brother's wife, so, she was relax while writing the exam and also vowed to do her best, so as to to make her brother's wife proud. She focused on writing the exam only and doesn't give room for any distraction.Tolani actually tried her best by showing her love and giving all she had to support her and Tife truly appreciated that and thanks her all through their journey.

Some set of thugs were waiting outside for her to come out, immediately they saw her submitting her paper, they gave themselves signals and quickly rushed out and took her away with a car. Many students have submitted and have already left the venue but Tolani has not set her eyes on Tife, she was still waiting outside expecting her to come out while others have submitted, she couldn't hold it any longer and went to the hall where they writing the exam to check on her, she alerted everyone present and the school authorities when couldn't see her. They all started looking for her and quickly made a report in the police station and the police officer started their investigations without wasting time.

She was raped and dumped at the front of a police station. She was taken to the hospital for proper treatments. She stayed indoor and couldn't go out for over three weeks as she hasn't gotten out of shock, the police officer tried to get some clue regarding the case, they continued with there investigations which led them in capturing some goons and they later confessed that Tife's boyfriend was the mastermind. Tife was shocked to hear the updates, the guy was arrested and brought in for questioning. The police officer told him to get a lawyer because it was a raped case, he got one to defend him and was sentenced to one-year imprisonment. 

Tife pulled herself together, she moved on and learnt from her mistakes. After few weeks, the JAMB results were released in which she got good grades. She gained admission into a state university where she studied Nursing. She made sure she always attend her classes and was always seen in the library reading. She represented the school so well and made her parents proud. She studied very well and came out in flying colors. She became a good version of herself by portraying good characters always
