Ren slept for a long time. That was not the right way to say it. It was more like Ren dreamt for a long time.
All his dreams came rushing back to his mind, forcing Ren to acknowledge their presence. Even the ones he had long since forgotten danced in his vision.
Ren watched everything like a scene from the movie, except that the main character in the movie was himself.
After digesting the information from millions of years ago, Ren finally gained consciousness. His long eyelashes trembled in an attempt to lift but there seemed to be weight settled over his eyelids.
It took him a lot of effort to finally see the world again. The dim light of the room still pierced his eyes. It took him a few seconds to get used to his surroundings.
