Xion cautiously peeked at Kade, who was now slouched in a chair, looking defeated yet still smoldering with jealousy.
Sensing the dropping temperature, Xion slowly dragged himself out of his hiding spot, careful not to trigger another slipper-throwing incident.
"I think you should approach him," Xion said carefully, sitting down beside Kade. "Even if it's not Terim, you know Rion isn't exactly short on admirers."
Kade's eyes narrowed dangerously, and Xion braced himself for more flying objects. Yet, he still decided to push forward anyway.
After all, if Kade truly wanted to tear him apart, no amount of ducking behind sofas would save him. So why not have a little fun while he could?
"Look," Xion continued, smirking a little. "Your Rion's got a whole fan club. Ah, no... He actually got a devotee club, and if you don't act soon, someone else might swoop in."
Kade's glare intensified, but Xion, ever the daredevil, just smiled back confidently.
