How the Stars bring us Together

A story originally set within a castle of the Medieval Era, though it's like paradise on Earth(and in slight ruins), the Zodiacs find themselves caught up in trouble when Ophiuchus starts to stir it. They seem to part ways, although the God of Stars seems to think otherwise. The lot are soon sent to recreate their relationships in modern times, whether this plan seems to play or not is another matter... Having already been reincarnated into the thirteen respective Zodiac signs, you can imagine how confusing yet another time period would be. To most of them, at least. A cautionary reminder that this book shall contain some graphic, mature scenes. Viewer discretion is advised. There is also alot of profound language, such as swearing.

Chapter 7.

~Ophiuchus POV~

I was being harassed over the note, how did Cancer even find out so quickly? He isn't the smartest at all. This was just pissing me off.

I went to go around, although Cancer put his arm out and stopped me. I slid my hand onto his wrist, and twisted his arm.

"I suggest keeping your hands to yourself." I hissed, as I let go and went to slither upstairs. I heard Libra asking if he was okay. Damn it, that woman needs to see him for his true colours. How didn't she fall out of love with him, when Cancer had actually ruined Pisces? It's despicable.

As I was getting to the stairs, Leo ran infront with a smile. What does this dumbass want, now?

"Ophiuchus, are you okay?" Leo was staring at me with some sense of worry. Why? It's unbelievable.

"Stop being an ass-kisser and get out of my way." I hissed, leaning my face closer to his.

He looked geniunely bewildered, before he shook his head. Either in refusal or out of his daze. "You don't need to be so cold to the only person who gives a flying fuck about you." He growled lightly, leaning even closer to me. His lime green eyes suddenly flashed a hint of hatred.

"In case you hadn't noticed, I don't care if the little kitty has some sort of fantastical love for me and which of, I don't care about you either. How about, you be a good puss for someone who actually gives a damn about you." I continued hissing, as I slithered past the dumbfounded Leo and up the stairs.

"What made you so cold?" He finally asked as I was near the top of the stairs.

"Being around such nuisances." I finally made my way out of there and into my area.

•20 years earlier•

Sagittarius, Taurus and Aries were all racing in the surrounding grassy area of the ruined castle, as Cancer and I were sat watching them.

I found myself staring at Cancer, my cheeks were a light shade of pink. He was too busy cheering on Taurus as we were on the sidelines.

Leo was also sat on the other side of Cancer, though cheering for Sagittarius. Poor Aries..

"Whoo! Go Aries!" I finally began shouting as I pushed myself up.

Aries looked in my direction and waved, smiling in gratitude. Of course he didn't win in the end, Sagittarius did.

"Cancer, pay up, now!" Leo grinned as he reluctantly placed a golden coin in Leo's outstretched hand. Aquarius then climbed out of the water and onto the dock, panting.

In the castle, we had somehow entrusted Scorpio and Virgo with taking care of the other little babies. They were adorable!

I giggled at the thought, and Cancer turned around to look at me. I felt my face heat up and I covered it.

"Ophiuchus, let's play hide-and-seek with the others." Cancer smiled at me, as the others mumbled in agreement.

"I'm too tired!" Aquarius shouted from the dock. She was too busy swimming earlier, watching the race from inside of the water.

"Tch, fine! We don't need some fish anyways!" Cancer stuck his tongue out at her.

"Yeah! Crabs are wayyyyy better!" I laughed, which earned a look from everyone, including Cancer. "I-.. erm.. I meant that they'd win in a fight!"

"Exactly!" Cancer raised his hand for a high-five, which I obviously slapped. Any chance to touch his hand was heaven.. Wait, what am I thinking?!

I quickly withdrew my hand back, although he luckily didn't seem to take notice of.

"Okay, fine. How about I seek, then." Aquarius finally gave in to playing, we all knew she wanted to play anyways.

She started counting and Cancer whispered to me. "Let's hide together!"

I felt my cheeks burning up, which I soon covered, once again, and nodded. He then grabbed my hand and ran, leading me.

We ended up hiding in the forest beside the castle.

I couldn't help but stare at Cancer while we hid behind a log, he had such nice amber eyes, brown sided hair and a nose hoop piercing, even though he was only seven.

He noticed my staring and looked at me in confusion. "Is there something on my face?"

"U-uhm... Yeah!" I then began smacking his cheek. "The bug's gone now!" I nervously giggled, and he nodded in gratitude.

"Hey, Ophi, you know you're one of my best friends, right?" He smiled at me.

"I-.. Yes! You're my best friend too!" I smiled back and he grinned. He then patted my head and looked straight ahead, seeing if Aquarius was there. She wasn't.

"Boo!" Aquarius whispered as she came up behind us, grabbing each of our shoulders. We both screamed in unison, before it turned into giggling. The others were behind her, also laughing.

•5 Years Later•

"Cancer, do you have to go?!" I cried, wiping my tears. He patted my head, like during hide-and-seek. I couldn't help but cry more. Virgo patted my back in comfort, smiling, as some of the others were also sobbing quietly. Leo was also going with Cancer to train in combat, with some demi-God. How they managed to convince the demi-God confused me.

I couldn't bear it any longer, as I slithered back inside. Libra joined me.

We reached my area and we both sobbed together on the edge of my circular bed.

"H.. How could they both just l-leave like that.." Libra stuttered, sniffling. Our tears had come to a halt, as I stared at her.

"They made the choice.. When they're back, we'll have some sort of defence at least. It's for the best." I sighed, not realising what I had said.

"Who are you more sad to see go?" She finally asked after about 10 minutes of awkward silence. We weren't close, but we could be, if we tried.

"..."

"I'm more upset with Cancer going.." She said, noticing my silence. I couldn't help but feel a twang of jealousy and hatred. Screw trying to be her friend, she's trying to steal my man.

"..Leave. Now." I glared at her, as she blinked in confusion.

"W-what, why?" She frowned, her eyes puffy and red from crying, I'm sure mine are the same.

"You can't be with him! He's older than you!" I didn't know what I was saying, and I didn't care at this point.

"You're older than him!" She counterpointed.

"Only by two years! You're younger by three, therefore you should respect my decision, brat!" I yelled, standing up. She teared up again, and ran out.

Little did I know.. He wouldn't end up with me anyways..
