THE PAST

Where am I….. What's this place… I can't see anything… . Everything seems blurry…

"One day I will come back… that day will be the last day of your life"

What's this voice…

"Run….ARATA… Sa… ve.. Your…Self"

I scream. . Ahhhh

I open my eyes finding myself lying on the floor. Rei is standing next to my head with a concerned look on her face which kind of looks like she pity on me.

"Again you had that weird dream" She says while trying to look serious but her face revealed everything.

"Yeah…"

Since I was little…every night I screamed because of this weird dream and was beaten for disturbing my fathers sleep.

However, I just can't take it out of my head for some reason. I can't even remember the incident and the face of the man speaking those words.

"How much time it's been since you had this dream of someone telling you that he will kill you", she says that with an light smile of her face.

"It's been eleven years…. And why do you look so happy about it." I say with a little high voice

"It's not that… I just find it interesting… but maybe it's just a bad dream."

"No, how can I even have a dream like that and even for years."

I don't often notice it but Rei is really beautiful up close. She always wears the same tight black outfit and her long black hairs makes her even more beautiful… apart from that she really has big ones...

"What are you thinking. Will you keep talking to me while lying on the floor or do you plan to stand up."

"Oh yeah."

I quickly stands up and sit at the chair next to me, which always makes noise when someone sits in it.

"Will you ever take me out of this junkyard or do you plan to live here forever."

"Hey don't say like that, it's only been a week since we left our house and it's not that easy to find a place and besides everything here is so expensive and we don't even have money to rent a apartment."

I try to make here understand our condition

Even now I can see an unsatisfied look on her face.

I look around the room, it's really an small and dirty house with only a bed, a crouch and a broken chair.

Although I managed to find this place where no one can find us but we really can live here forever… apart from this I can't always sleep on the crouch

"Hey what's gotten into you…are you listening."

"Oh.. mm.. Yeah.. I was just looking around the room."

"Oh man if only we haven't left our house we would I would be sleeping in a large room."

Well,that really is true our house was really a big one

"I can't live there forever and in the first place no one asked you to accompany me. You could have lived a luxurious life there alone."

"Geez… you will always be dumb. you never understand anything" She says that with a frustrated face.

"What does that even mean, sometimes you really say some weird stuff."

We lived in our father house, it was near the mountains, and it was a beautiful place. My father was some sort of master, he was really strong and knew all sort of martial arts which I and Rei was taught.

Rei was a servent at that house but she really was more like my childhood friend and the only one I had.

However, about two weeks ago in my sixteenth birthday he told me that he isn't my father, but someone gave my responsibility to him, although he never told me who. He always says that it isn't the time. So I stopped asking.

It was really devastating to know suddenly that we aren't blood related. Although it's not like I care much because he never behaved like a father but like a master teaching his student.

From when I was four, he gave us training which I don't know will ever help me. I needed a peace of mind so I decided to leave my house and as expected it didn't even bother him like he knew this would happen if he told me the truth. That was when Rei decided to accompany me although I many times told here that she shouldn't come.

As I left he said,

"BE CAREFUL AND NEVER LOSE YOUR HUMANITY"

Not that I understood that so I just ignored that and we left our house and that brings us to present day

"Don't you thing you should find a part-time job or something from which you could money." Rei says while eating a sandwich and the only one left.

"And what do you think of doing… you old hag." I said in a sarcastic manner but maybe she didn't understand jokes.

She grabs my T-shirt and her face really looked as if it was sexual harassment.

"Don't ever say that again or I'll kill you. I'm only twenty."

"It's the same was around", I mumerred.

"What did you day?"

"Nothing, just thinking about going out to find a job, would you like to come", I tried to twist the topic.

"Sure, but I don't think you could go like that"

"What do you mean" I say with a confused tone

I looked down…I was in my night dress which I didn't notice the whole time. I quickly changed the clothes and we went out.

"So this is the last one right.."

"Yeah..I wonder why every shop in this town who need workers won't hire us." She shouts

"Maybe because you always say you are fifteen."

"That's definitely isn't the case." Her voice rose a bit.

"Yea..h",I said with a down face… hope we get this one.

"So you are ARATA KEN(16) and you are REI KEN(20).... Mm.. By any chance are you from the same family… " The shop lady asks.

"Yes, this is my little brother and we came from another town so we need a job." She lied

I really am surprised….Sometimes I wonder how can she say a lie with a clear face

"Oh.. I see.. Since we are short of workers maybe I can hire you but you need to work hard." The shop lady says with a pleasant smile on her face.

"We are really happy. Thank you Ma'am" We say together.

We leave the place and head towards home or I should say junkyard.

"By the way, why did you buy so many beer and the biggest question is how do you even have money." I shouted

"Com'om.. You are just jealous that you can't drink.. Too bad for you, it sure sucks to be underage.

Ahh.. Beer is the best.." She shouts while being drunk

"Do whatever you want."

Saying this I leave the room.

I wonder what are those dreams about and why can't I remember any of it. Maybe it's related to something or someone in my past life, whatever it is I need to find out soon.

Well I really am sleepy now maybe it's really late. As I walk inside I saw Rei lying on the bed.

She really was drunk, I smile. I walk close to the bed, she really is so cute while sleeping but only while sleeping.

I touched he long black hair, they were really soft as silk.

I stood up to move to crouch but she pulled me in her direction.

Ahhhhhh

Before I could even think I was lying on bed on top of Rei lifting myself up by my hands so that I don't touch her.

I tried to slowly move but she grabbed me with her hands. I could feel her big chest pressing against me ,my heart was about to burst. It was a pleasant sensation but….

"Don't go, I… wil.. Be.. Lon..ly….." She says.

I couldn't even think for a moment.

"Don't worry I will never let you feel lonely." I said with a smile and could even see a satisfied smile on her face.

"Guess I don't have any choice. Maybe just for today."

And I was asleep
