What Luca had expected when people were coming in to interview Sophia was her usual timid nature and the innocent-looking woman he had gotten used to. However, the woman who appeared before him as she sat on a wooden stool being asked questions while a photographer took pictures of her was confident and captivating.
Sophia seemed at ease as she went back and forth with the writer who was interviewing her. He sat at one of the tables while the photographer took pictures of her holding various desserts or simply standing there, being captivating enough all on her own.
Luca watched from behind the counter where he had pulled up a chair. The night before them was so fresh in his heart that it made him feel unsettled to watch her in that setting. The alpha within him was certainly a jealous bastard but he kept it to himself.
