Just Like a Couple

It was supposed to be such an important day for Sophia's bakery.

Prince's Pastries was being featured in New Vista's top ten small businesses in a large publication that would certainly push more traffic through her doors. In light of prices skyrocketing in the city and the push of for-profit chains that dominated the market, people were pushing for change and Sophia was happy to be at the forefront.

In the food community of the city, she was more well-known but it was hard to break through to a wider audience when marketing was expensive and it was only her running everything from behind the scenes.

Pulling the blanket with her, Sophia scrambled to find her phone. Somehow she remembered that in her horny haze from only a few hours before, she tossed her phone to the floor as she ignored her alarm. No doubt she was going to pay for it.

When she saw the time, her forehead was sweating.
