Is this a cow?

'Hmhm, what to do what to do…'

Right now, the great me, is swimming around the surprisingly comfortable log. I woke up a few minutes ago, and now I'm wondering how to approach this dungeon…

From my scouting yesterday as well as looking around now, this dungeon is more than I expected.

It seems that this grassy plains here is just the tarting area, as there is a path that leads into the woods. Although I'd really like to cheat this and simply go over the woods…

*bubble*

The area I'm in now seems to be a water bubble, and the dark tree covered pathway leads to the other water bubbles, outside of the water is air… I'd certainly not like that…

Well, I'll think on it latter, for now I want to try to get to level ten, than evolve, and than continue through the dungeon, as when I asked big man he said that the later parts of the dungeon are out of my current capabilities…

So I'm gonna murder some fishes. Without any further thinking, I drift from my temporary home, hopping to find an opponent that's powerful enough to give exp.

As I swim through the grassy plains, I focus my gaze near the ground, as most of the fishes seem to gather near it.

I find other fishes, lots of them even! But these fish… well they are…

Weak as fuck!

None of them exceed level 6, which is bellow my current level, which would net me barely any exp. I mean, why so many squirrel fish and rabbit fish? Huh?

As I continue to curse at the tiny fish's, something catches my senses.

Ah, a thing I forgot to mention. Although my hydro motion can only affect the currents that I cause, I can still read other ones around me, giving me a sort of second vision.

Anyways, I feel I disturbance in the currents, and it's fast! Of course, to me it seems like a snails pace.

With the speed of… something pretty fast?, like not as fast as a bullet by still, pretty fast!, I do a barrel roll straight out of the things way, maneuvering my way slightly above it in the process.

My own senses eventually catch up to my speed and I catch sight of my attacker.

'This is…. A cow?'

No, it's a bull. A really angry one for that matter. The fish in-front of me is a dark brown in color, with blood red eyes and grey horns coming off of its head. The fishes whole body is rather bulky.

The bull-fish let's out a snort, air bubbles coming out from its wide face, before it turns to me with a great speed, before charging at me again.

I dodge again, easily, before forming a sharp blade with the currents created by my movement, and than sending it off towards the bulls head.

Expecting it to become decapitated, I relax slightly, waiting for its death.

But something… surprising happened. Rather, my blades seemed to be completely negated! And then, afterwards the bull launches at me again with greater vigor, increasing its speed somehow!

And then, a sudden realization dawned on me…

'This speed… relative to his size and his fins seems to be impossible as well as his precision… he locks onto me every time he charges as if he knows where I am already… and he negated my blades…. It seems he either has a large variety of skills at his disposal or… he has some sort if not the same hydro motion as me!'

I dodge his deadly charge, thinking up a plan, before I decide to do something I haven't done yet.

'Dead… calm!'

With a slight twang of pain in my fish head, I activate a technique that I thought up awhile ago.

I watch the bull silently, as he seems to be filled with great anger but… he stops, complete confusion in his eyes as he seems to struggle a bit when moving.

'Dead calm… a technique in where I forcefully stop all the currents around me and in a specific area. Despite only being able to affect currents that I cause, given the right environment I can make other currents become one with the ones I create with my movement, enabling me to have control over them.

Of course the technique isn't 100% safe as the currents aren't totally mine, and forcing all of them to stay still drains me but… I should have enough time… stopping all the currents actually seems to disorient the fish, especially the bull as he uses his hydro motion to assist him in basic movements.'

I scoff in my mind, forming a hyper blade, before I dart forwards, the water remaining calm despite my great speed.

'It seems this bull over relies on his hydro motion… without he's simply a sitting… fish…'

As I near, the fish continues to struggle in confusion, that confusion however becomes panic as I do my first strike, getting a bit away from him before doing a sharp turn and going in for another one.

I circulate hyper energy in my body, passively increasing my speed as I start to dart around him slicing him up.

By now, my dead calm has been deactivated, yet it seems that the reduction of his senses and the panic he's in, as well as suddenly regaining said senses, he's still completely useless and vulnerable to my attacks.

And, as I expected, it's not long before the fish is completely diced, well not really, I mean he's still in one piece buuuut… he has a lot of cut marks? And he's dead?

[BULL-FISH murdered!

'Hah, this is gonna take awhile… hm…'

I look at the sliced cow, wondering, only a little bit, if I could make a burger…

'I mean… cows and bulls are basically the same thing… right?'

'Ah, well, I won't know till I try…'

Hey hey, so basically, I went MC to be a siren, like not the cursed voice bitch ass site buuut... The cool tattoo borderlands siren, right? Anyway, I'm kinda torn between what here siren power should be...

On one hand I can't give her... Well... The hand...

And then, on the other... Hand... I want to give her fuckin gunkinesis.

Don't ask why these two, I just like them the most and they seemed to fit well enough.

Ah, well other than siren shit... There's a few power related thing I wanted to add...

Well mainly, I'm not going to give her the ability to do everything under the sun, fuck that.

I also don't want to make her fit too many roles, I want her either to be a mage or a brawler but I'm kinda on the fence rn. Obviously this is why I'm still trying to choose between the two siren powers, since each if them fits one of the roles.
