LIAR!

Lucas woke up at 5 am in early morning as per his practice. He has conditioned himself to wake up at this time since his early training days.

He quickly got up, made his bed then he walk up to his closet to change his clothes to his sportswear.

He walks to his sister room then knock it three times to signal her that he was coming in.

Luna was 11 years old this year. She has become wittier in his absence but the love she has for her brother never change.

" Luna, hurry up and change, my darling piggy, get up," Lucas lift Luna in his arms when he saw his sister pretending to sleep then walk up to the bathroom with a smile on his lips.

" If you don't wake up now, I would just throw you in the bathtub so you could enjoy the cold bath," Lucas slowly walk towards the bathroom, Luna peek at her brother's face which has a mischievous smile on it.

She knew if she didn't open her eyes now, her brother would seriously throw her in the cold water.

" Woke up, woke up, brother I had already woken up, could you put me down so I could accompany you to run, ok" Luna frantically said as she tried to make Lucas put her down.

" We all know who is accompany whom ok," Lucas put her down and pinch her nose playfully.

Luna pouted disgruntledly and rushes to the closet.

After Luna changed, a pair of brothers and sisters went for their morning jogging and some exercise.

Luna was on the chubby side but she looked so cute and endearing like this.

She has always avoided going to morning jogging and prefer to do yoga at home but don't know what happen she suddenly requests Lucas if she could join him on his morning runs.

Being sis con he happily agreed but he also investigated the matter, he didn't want to find her sister being bullied behind his back, however, he didn't find any abnormality. So just let it be.

Since his sister wants to join him and adopt a healthy lifestyle he was happy to help.

They jog to Hayden's home, woke him and Amelia up for a walk then continue to jog for another half an hour.

As we know Hayden was a technological geek and if Lucas didn't take him to jog he would spend most of his days in his lab, so to maintain the healthy lifestyle of his friend he had to drag him(Hy) every morning.

It will take at least 2 hours to circle the whole villa area( run). Three houses are in about 45 minutes far from each other on foot( walk)

However, Lucas has never gone near Adrian house since he came back.

Everyone was helpless at his action.

Alex and Hawk have to come to him to meet him or he will arrange to meet them at a restaurant or cafe but never at Hemsworth house.

Amelia and Luna are now best of friends unlike in the novel where they were at each other throats.

They run ahead of their brothers laughing and talking whereas Hayden and Lucas silently follow behind them.

Hayden looked at his best friend and brother who had become so solemn and expressionless and had forgotten to smile at ordinary times.

Hayden always remembers the day when his brother returned and looked for that person but when he couldn't find him he was at loss.

He could remember how restless and anxious he was when he didn't see the person who had promised him to see first when he returned but he broke his promise.

As the day passed on Lucas didn't even utter that name and when others mentioned his(Ad) name he would freeze at first but now he didn't even care about it as he shows to others.

But Hayden knew how important that person's existence to Lucas was.

When they were at training they were given strict instructions to never disclose their whereas about so they never knew where another person was.

They would write to each other at least once a month but the address would always be hidden.

When Hayden 1st finished his training he wrote them he would return and Adrian and Lucas said they would also return in a year or so but Adrian hasn't returned till today.

" Brother Lucas, he will return today," Hayden cautiously looked at Lucas as he informed him.

Lucas was stunned for a second but soon he resume his jogging as if it didn't bother him at all.

Despite being separated from each other for so many years they have never felt distant but ever since Adrian broke his promise, Lucas felt something break inside him, maybe it was his pride and ego that the person who always follow behind him suddenly left his side and even broke his promise.

He was eager to meet Adrian and tell him what he saw and experienced and was eagerly waiting for another person to do the same but now he was numb to that name and his action.

It didn't matter whether he return or not.

You could say he was childish and even say he was overreacting but only he knew how it felt when one was eager to meet someone but that person ditch him and never contact him.

He had time to inform his whereabouts to his(L) parents, even Hayden, Luna forget that everyone knew where he was except him(L) so he wouldn't care about that selfish prick.

Lucas knew Adrian must be in some kind of situation but it didn't mean he would forgive him.

If His tail is in some danger or anything shouldn't the owner be the 1st one to know but here he was left alone.

He has made his(L) life miserable with worry now when he returns it will be his turn to taste the bitterness of his own medicine.

Hayden quickly follows behind Lucas.

" Brother, he must have met some problems, otherwise we all know how much he adored and treasure you to even think about hurting you like this," Hayden tried to calm Lucas anger.

He didn't want his brothers to fight once they meet.

He remembers despite being far away from each other his brothers were always beside him. Those gifts left for him were his treasure in those training days.

Especially the recording left by them which contains the happiest moments they spend together and wishes of his brothers for his upcoming every birthday for 10 years was very special.

" Hayden, if you once again utter a word in that lair's defence then consider your brother Lucas has no relation with you," Lucas suddenly cut Hayden rambling and threatened him.

Saying that he quickly run to catch up to his sister.

Lucas smirked as he formed a plan to torture certain someone, if not he had a couples watch to notify the health condition of Adrian, he would have personally killed the dog who seems to forget his owner and tried to trick him.

A certain youth who was boarding the flight to coax his beloved 'master/brother' felt a sudden chill run down his back and he knew his days of hell was coming.

His Lucas would surely make his life as hellish as possible but he was confident enough to coax him.

" Can't wait to see you," both Lucas and Adrian thought at the same time with a smirk on their face.
