Scare

"Oh boy." I said as I tried to bend, and pick up a file that fell from my hands, but I felt so out of breath that I had to take a break.

"Marianna."

"Yes?" I asked Emilio, as I tried picking it up again, and he sighed.

"Baby, I know that you said that you will be fine working until the baby comes, but I've been thinking, and I don't think that that's a good idea. You're already six months pregnant, and things ar getting harder for you, and I don't like stressing you."

"So what are you planning to do? Fire me?" I asked, and he sighed

"No, baby. You know that I will never fire you, but I was just thinking that after the baby shower next week, you would stay at home, and start nesting in our new house.

"So I'm supposed to just stay at home for three whole months doing nothing a lot of nothing while you're here drowning in work?" I asked, and he shook his head no.
