Picking up the Feathers of Gossip

General Pho had been keeping a close eye on his niece since the incident she caused at the palace. Between training these subpar soldiers, Lady Mikaela and his majesty had dumped on him, and ensuring that his sister and her daughter didn't cause anymore trouble. He had no time to pay any attention on his wife.

When he arrived home later in the day, he immediately noticed something was wrong.

His wife wasn't in her normal location and all the servant look like they were walking on egg shells.

Calling for his head steward, he asked the male where the Lady of the house is. As he suspected that she is the caused for the bad mood in the house.

Can't any of these females give me peace of mind for just a month! He internally complained.

Walking to where his steward pointed, Pho found his wife seated at an empty table. Plates, cups, food and liquid had been spilt on the floor.
