Choosing to ignore Ailwin for the time being, he turned his head away; unfortunately, his eyes met Saavi's from across the room.

Fuzzy memories rose from both their minds from the night before.

The last thing they both could remember was of him falling over himself.

Hearing Saavi's muffled laughter from across the room made his face hit the floor....again.

"Lord Mano...Lord Tasar, I'm sorry to interrupt, but we really need to get going." Ailwin saw Braeden's mortified expression and decided to save whatever is left of his friend's dignity.

"Right..right...let us see you and the Shadow Wolves off." Tasar walked everyone to the front gate where Prince Ailwin's men were waiting for him.
