Honey, I Hate You: Married To A Beguiler

She will do anything to escape her death, including marrying the man that she detested the most. Dayton Katherine, who thought true love, and happiness prevails all things, was led to her doom by that thought. Marrying the man she truly loved was her dream, but it turned out to be a nightmare she never saw coming. On her wedding day, after she lost everything including her position, and wealth, she was murdered by the man she loved dearly. It turned out he deceived her, and made her know that what she thought existed was only a fantasy which deluded her. After being killed, she was granted a second chance– a chance to redeem her mistake. Katherine woke up a day before the day she died. Now, she is desperate to run away from her mysterious fate, but they are bound to happen. For her to escape the fate of dying on her wedding day, and being killed by the man she loved, she decided to marry Jaylen Eric. She wanted to believe all men weren't the same, but she was mistaken. She caught Eric kissing her cousin an hour before their wedding. She had no choice but to marry him in order to protect herself, she is bent on hating the beguiler she got married to. This time, she won't waver for this man, nor will she allow her mind to be clouded by thoughts that will delude her. What if he turns out to be the most supporting, caring, loving, and reliable person she ever met? What if his feelings were genuine towards her? What if he began to make her waver, and her life got endangered? Will she be able to cope with what lies ahead of her? Allow the pressure from her in–laws, cousin, and her fate swallow her? Or come out strong from it? Except; “Do you think you can keep hating me?” His question made Katherine turn to face him. She hesitated before she replied, “Yes, I will never waver for you, Honey.” A teasing smile playing on his lips, Eric took a few steps closer to her. “Wifey, do you think that wall of hatred won't melt down if I try seducing you?” Seeing the determination in his eyes, she can't help but laugh. “Try, and see.” (I will be updating two chapters per day except Sundays.)

A Visit To A Friend– 2

"Isn't he handsome, Katherine?" Mirabel asked, a silly smile on her face.

Katherine bit her lips, trying all she could not to say a word that would put both herself and Mirabel in danger. She would rather get hurt than watch Mirabel get hurt in her stead.

"Not as handsome as my man, Eric," Katherine replied with a fake smile. If words could cut, her throat would have been bleeding with the way she forced those words out.

"It seems you two are close. I envy your relationship," Asher, who had been quiet, said, pretending to care.

"Yes. Mirabel and I always protect each other from scumbags," Katherine said. Glancing at Mirabel, she asked, "Do you remember how we almost killed Peter for deceiving me in our grade seven?"

"Katherine, don't be petty, my Asher isn't a scumbag," Mirabel, who understood what she was trying to point out, defended Asher.

Unable to endure it any longer, she gave her card to Mirabel and decided to excuse herself. She couldn't bear sitting with the man who killed her anymore. No matter how she pretended, he was still the man who led her to an early death!

She headed to Mirabel's house and waited patiently for her to come back from the eatery so that she could tell her the truth. She has to inform Mirabel about how dangerous Asher was, or she would also become his victim.

It took almost two hours before Mirabel came back. She was stunned to still see Katherine in her house. Katherine had never spent more than an hour with her ever since she became the Dayton Group vice-chairwoman.

"Katherine, why are you still here?"

"Mirabel, I have something very important to discuss with you," she said, taking a deep breath.

Curious about why Katherine had waited for her for almost three hours, she sat down next to her. "What is it? I am all ears as always."

"Mirabel, it's about your boyfriend," she paused. Hoping Mirabel would believe her, she continued, "I know Asher."

"And so?"

"Mirabel, he isn't all you know about him. He is a liar. He deceives people, and leads them to their doom," tears streaming down her eyes, she informed her. "I was once Asher's girlfriend. Not until our wedding day when he deceived me, took away my money and made me give up everything, only to kill me. I can't allow you to be with such a horrible scumbag."

Mirabel burst into laughter, wondering if Katherine hit her head on her way back here. Did all the rubbish she just said make any sense? Definitely not!

"Katherine, if this is a joke, stop it. I can't help but think you are mentally ill."

"I am not ill. I know what I am talking about. Please, dump that guy before it is too late. He is a monster–"

Unable to accept Katherine's act any longer, she yelled at her. "Katherine, leave my house! Now!"

"Mirabel, are you chasing me out of your house?"

"Yes. I don't want to ever see your face. I thought you were my friend, but you aren't. I didn't complain when you weren't there for me, but now, you want me to dump the guy I love because we are friends? F*ck that friendship!"

Given the state Mirabel was in, there is no amount of words that can make her calm down. She knew Mirabel doesn't get angry easily, but if she does, it takes her days to get over it.

Left with no choice but to leave Mirabel's house, she took her card and walked out of her apartment.

Tears kept streaming down her eyes as she remembered how she died. She doesn't want even the slightest harm to come near her friend. If Asher could kill her like a chicken, what difference will it make with killing one more lady– her friend to be precise.

After waiting outside Mirabel's apartment for a while, she decided to call one of Jaylen family drivers, who was specifically employed to be her driver.

She waited until the driver came. She got into the car and the driver drove off. It took them about an hour before they arrived at the mansion. With the way the driver was driving, it was obvious that he was an amateur.

After they arrived, she alighted from the car, and headed directly to her room. On her way to her room, she was stopped by Sarah.

"Are you just coming back?"

"Yes… what happened?" She asked curtly. From her voice, it was obvious that she was angry.

Sarah decided to walk away so as not to allow Katherine direct her anger towards her.

Katherine walked into her room and shut the door behind. She roughed her hair, crying profusely.

"I shouldn't have been selfish! I shouldn't have asked for more! I don't deserve a second chance!" She kept crying until a sharp voice echoed from outside.

"Katherine, open the door!"

She stood up immediately, pretending to be alright after cleaning her teary face. She opened the door for Eric to come in.

Eric, who knew she was crying, asked, "Why are you crying? Who is the reason behind your tears?"

"You don't need to know who made me cry!"

He let go of his suitcase, concentrating his focus on her. "I need to know! After all, I am your husband."

"Asher!" She yelled out the single word on impulse. A gasp escaped her lips when she found out what she just said.

Eric chuckled at her behavior before he leaned closer to her, "What should we do to him? Kill him? Throw him into prison? Or break every bone in his body?"

If she were to be sincere, she would gladly choose all. First, break every bone in his body, throw him into prison and then kill him– only if Eric meant those words!

"Can you really help me? Can you punish that Dirtbag Asher?" She did not want to ask for his help, but right now she does not have any choice because she is desperate to save her friend.
