Recollection: memories of a broken boy (3)

"Dusk! Duuuusk!"

Anthony shouted as he ran down the street, rain hitting the ground so hard you could hear a thump as it landed.

"Fuck! I didn't mean for this to happen!"

this single thought raced through Anthony's mind.

Though what did he expect? For him to say things like that and it'd have no effect? I could feel no sympathy for him.

*bzzzz bzzzz bzzz-

Anthony's pocket vibrated as his phone rang.

He quickly checked to see who it was.

[Samantha]

Though internally he was panicking, he tried his best to compose himself before he picked up the phone.

"Hello?"

"Anthony he came back home.. he's just a little upset but he's fine, you can start heading back."

"Thank god". He let out a long sigh of relief.

He started to jog towards the direction of the house, tired and cold, his eyes started to close.

"HEY GET OUT THE WA—"

A brief flash of lights crossed his eyes

Before the strangers sentence was finished Anthony turned around to see a car right in front of him, he saw the moment so clearly, it was like if time slowed down for him.

"Ah, fu—

At that very moment Sam and dusk walked out the house to await his arrival but instead they were greeted with crimson water and a dead body.

"Anthony!" Sam whaled.

Day by day passed and it seemed as if everything got worse, starting from the funeral, to the drive home and to the events leading up to this moment which I am about to tell you.

It's funny as they say everybody is narrator of their own story… but that is only true for him, yet it was not always that way.
