Chapter 013 - Conflict

After leaving Matthew Broderick and others, Courteney Cox walked a few steps and couldn't help but look back, then said to Simon with some expectation: "I wish I could be like Matthew one day, have my celebration party, surrounded by people like a princess."

Seeing the girl's expression, Simon recalled the show "Friends", and smiled and added: "You will be, maybe even more famous than him in the future."

Simon has always been a person who can adapt well to his surroundings. Looking at the dancing girl, he quickly joined the dance floor, enjoying the teasing eyes of Courtney from time to time.

Beautiful girls are always easy to attract the attention of others, and a beautiful girl who dances well is even more eye-catching.

Soon, a tall and thin white boy in a blue shirt came over and started dancing around Courteney trying to interact with her, completely ignoring Simon's existence. This was obviously not the first time Courteney dealt with this situation, she smiled politely at the young man and dodged to the side.

Courteney dodged again glared at the boy and smiled at Simon who watching her.

Simon came forward, between the young man and Courteney, thinking that the other party would leave.

Simon felt the merciless slap on his shoulder and frowned, but he tried to calm things down, so he shook his head and said to the boy, "No..."

Before he even had time to say the phrase 'she is my friend', the boy has already shouted again: "Then don't fucking block others like a fucking dog."

Hearing this sentence, Simon suddenly narrowed his eyes. When the other person finishes his sentence, he raises his hand and hit him with a punch.

Since it is a public place and he is a guest, Simon didn't use his full strength, he just wanted to give each other a little lesson.

However, maybe the boy was drunk, or maybe he was too weak. Simon punched, and the other party stumbled backwards and fell to the ground.

This was a dance floor where hormones are flying, when people saw the punch, the men and women around them didn't panic at all. Instead, they quickly vacated an open space for the fight, but some of them screamed in excitement.

The young man sitting on the ground touched his stinging cheekbone, feeling the mocking gaze of men and women around him, he suddenly become angry, so he jumped up and rushed towards Simon.

Simon didn't want to fight him, so when they rushed at him, he grabbed the collar of the young man, and kept him at an arms reach, and persuades: "Friend, you better calm down."

The height of the young man is almost the same as Simon's.

It's just that, compared to Simon's strong body who had struggled since he was a child, the boy's thin body had no power to fight back. But the boy didn't calm down, instead, he tried to counterattack by trying to punch back, but he found that his arms weren't long enough, so he tried to kick Simon but he was also easily blocked.

Hearing the rude laughter of people around him, the young man's face was flushed red, he was just about to scream back at the crowd, but an angry voice came from his back: "Who the hell gives you the right to fight here!"

The crowd looked for the sound source, and suddenly became quiet, when they found it was Matthew Broderick.

With the commotion here, the music on the dance floor quickly stopped, and the security guards in the bar also appeared.

Seeing that the surroundings were quiet, Simon released the young man who was waving his hands like a monkey.

When the angry young man was let go by Simon, he originally wanted to step forward and fight, but noting that Matthew stared at him, he stopped her action, and bluntly pointed at Simon and said: "Matthew, it's him, he made the first move."

With that said, the young man quickly walked to Matthew, stood next to him familiarly, and give Simon a smug look.

Although he knew that his friend was not a very good guy, because of the one-sided situation on the dance floor and the wicked complaint of his friend, Matthew Broderick naturally regarded Simon as the one who caused the trouble.

With a disgusted glance at Simon, Matthew turned to look at Kristy Swanson, who wished she could find a place to hide and said: "Kristy, is this your friend?"

Kristy said with a stutter: "No ..., I just met him in the afternoon, um, he is a friend of Courteney."

Being watched by everyone around, Matthew hesitated and felt that he should be more generous, so he said to Simon: "Man, how about this, you apologize to Mark, and we will call things even."

Simon looked at the young man next to Matthew waiting proudly for his apology, shrugged and said with a smile: "I better go."

After that, Simon looked at Courtney next to him.

Courtney saw Simon look over, her eyes flashing, opened her mouth, but didn't speak.

Seeing that she wasn't going to leave with him, Simon did not say anything, he just walk out.

Matthew saw that he had been generous enough, but in a blink of an eye his generosity was thrown away, he felt like he was slapped. Staring fiercely at Simon's figure until he disappeared, he suddenly turned to Courteney, who was still standing with her mouth open and mercilessly said: "You go too, you aren't welcome in my parties in the future."

Courteney Cox froze and looked at Christie for help, but her friend just leaned on the boy beside her and didn't intend to speak for herself, so she turned around to squeeze out of the crowd with embarrassment.

Regretting not going away with Simon, this regret immediately turned into faint anger.
