Hollywood Creed: 1st Draft

Before [Alexander Creed: Re-life] there was this story. I give you... 70s Alexander Creed... An inspiration and version before Alexander Creed of [Alexander Creed: Re-Life] became what he is! It's going to be crazy, whacky, offensive, and just plain trashy. Welcome to Hollywood Creed: 1st Draft! ------ This is a work of trashy fiction before my other trashy fictions... so don't bash my trashy work too much. Also, this is just a fictionalization of things for entertainment and just sharing for free. Hope I don't get much trouble for it and hope I don't get sued or whatever.

Little Actor

It was a truly trying time for the Majors who were confident enough in maintaining their dominance in their home market and overseas.

Sadly for them, they were a bit preoccupied with their financial losses and 'broke' status since 1950 and the undeniable fact that cinema audiences would rather prefer watching TV.

Universal's Jaws and summer strategy came at the right time to exert their dominance again. Too bad that Cosmic Pictures beat them to the punch.

A single movie was shaking their home market and the supposedly murky overseas market.

The Cosmic Pictures strategy was too low-key and too critical. A tiny lapse in their established monopolizing strategy was broken through with one brilliant move.

Filmmakers working outside the Hollywood system and Major oligopolies often find it difficult to achieve a theatrical release in international markets outside their home territory or in just North America itself.

This is because an industry structure and related market practices have evolved over nine decades, creating systemic barriers that have severely disadvantaged smaller independent companies in all three key industry sectors: production, distribution, and exhibition"

Lucasfilm, despite its array of techs and talents, would be content with providing special effects services for the Majors, making them a non-threat for them.

Pixar could have been the king of the animated movie market but their lack of other studio capabilities hindered them. There was also the fatal trap that Disney's Eisner planted beforehand for them.

Dreamworks had extremely talented masterminds and amazing content. It was unfortunate that distribution capabilities were based on the whim of the Majors.

Hence, Cosmic Pictures will not suffer the fate of Lucasfilm, Pixar, and Dreamworks. It would not be a subsidiary nor suppressed due to its incomplete capabilities.

It had the aforementioned production, distribution, and a bit of exhibition covered.

It had eerily effective overseas and North American distribution and advertisement capabilities.

It had advanced film and filming technologies that would take a while to catch up to.

It also has thousands of amazing yet future contents by virtue of the pop culture stockpile that was inside the head of a little boy.

As for the boy himself, he was right by the corner as the filming crew did their job. Mark and Sullivan found it best that young Alex is right beside them observing than accumulating their future workloads at home.

Helena was also not cut out for security work, so Alexander had to confine himself in the safety of a relatively confidential and privatized filming location.

Showing off to the whole world would always have its downsides. One of which is the targeted attention that society would have on you.

Even though the topics about the company, the film, and the director are still debatable good and bad, the judgment of the industry towards the child actor was undeniable.

James Smith would always try hard to be in the background. His demeanor and seating tendencies have long been ingrained in it. He was bullied and scorned but he was fine with it.

A lot of people wanted to support him and change his situation from the audience. Coupled with his undeniable pleasingness and cuteness, almost no one could resist.

Those emphatic and forlorn feelings towards him would then quickly shift to wonder and awe whenever his hidden powers become shown.

The terror that the malevolent spirits invoked towards the viewers would always be replaced with calm and excitement whenever the supposedly weak and must-be-cared-for boy stepped up to the challenge.

Although Kid Psychic had an innovative story and had unparalleled editing renditions of visual effects and music, it cannot be denied that the main character was what drove people back into the theaters.

The natural charm and charisma that the little actor conveyed were too captivating. When the fact that the child actor was only four years old when conveying such a performance became clear, Alexander Creed came into the limelight of the people.

An impeccable acting debut in the eyes of the public and the press.

When they found out that the boy sang and wrote the catchy "99', they had their minds blown by his latent talent.

It would have been extremely terrifying if they knew he wrote the very movie they are fanning him up for. Good thing the Creeds are already prepared to keep that secret buried... for now!

They've cursed and praised Kid Psychic in their articles but it was genuine acclaim and appraisal when they sat down and wrote about the talented young boy.

Surely, it was just vain idol worship for the masses but it was weird when even the sensible adults were giving him high remarks.

Alexander could only blame the invisible charismatic charm he has. His evil mindset was seriously starting to reconsider hypnosis and the like. Of course, it was just a passing thought... maybe!

It was a fact that the boy got the part due to his undeniable ties with the movie creators but movie practitioners believe that the young Alex would have had the character nonetheless.

A known fact in the industry is that the younger child actors are, the more likely they are to be volatile and a liability to filming.

This was not evident when it came to little Alexander at all. It was as if he was carrying the movie along by himself.

True blue journalists had their methods and asked around with the crewmembers that worked on the Kid Psychic set. It was unanimously agreed upon by their sources that the boy was as professional as an adult at work.

They might be a bit overkill in their description but the genuineness of their expressions when they said so... could already point out how great of an acting asset and even musical talent the boy has.

Likewise, the Majors had their eyes on the boy and the shelved 'three-halved plan' would have already undergone its intended purpose.

Anyways... with all their admiration towards his acting skills, Alexander's quiet life at home became bombarded with neighbors and visitors.

The neighbors and most visitors were mostly tame and just wanted to meet the little star. However, certain visitors had certain agendas to accomplish that ticked his mature mindset.

Coming back to full circle, Alexander agreed to his elders' plans and was stuck with re-learning what the filming process was all about.

It was also good for him to refresh and deepen his memory of such things. He plans to perfect a cheap and foolproof pre-production method, it was best for him to observe the practical production process over and over again.

Thus, the tedious filming session would go on for months but a certain popular little actor was quietly snooping at every crew station.

His seriousness and childish face being mashed together when he was doing so was an inescapable treat for the cute lovers on the set.

This is just going to be plain horrendous, silly, and more disgusting than my main trashy work.

You've been warned!
