Chapter 1: Starting The Resort Job

Ryans pov

On the third year of my college our group of 6 decided to visit a beach house in goa. One of my friend Shannon decided we should take up a part time job. We'll three of use agreed for job but other three join us afterwards. We searched for jobs on internet for several of days and choose a good looking resort for our job. We contacted them over the phone and left for it on first day of our summer holiday.

When we arrived at the inn it was a 2 story building. It read Shanti nivas but it should rather be Shanti palace. We discussed about the worked. The middle aged lady was nice and kind of sweet talker she showed us around the inn

The inn had a large dinning hall , four guest rooms and two rooms for workers a total of seven rooms. The land lady introduced us to a young girl.

I was immediately got excited. The young girl was from nearby village. She introduced herself hey iam Mia. Mai was physically fit and have kind smile. The owner Shanti live along with her husband Ravi. After tea she told " the guest rooms are the here and your room is down at the end of the hall"."I'll explain more later so fell free to rest". Suddenly my friend Riyan asked her " are there guest room on second floor ". " No" the landlady Shanti answered with a smile. That was odd as it was peak season well we can find it later.

IN ROOM 

Shannon: " it's is a nice hotel isn't it"

Rick:" we landed a nice job that pays well and with everyone's kind attitude work sure will be fine" 

Riyan :" I hope so , it's peak season in few weeks I guess second floor will be opening soon"

The work got us busy 

Shannon:"doesn't the land lady live on second floor,"

Rick:" I don't know "

Shannon: " hadn't you seen her taking food up there recently"

Riyan: " No"

Shannon was incharge of cleaning in yard at evening so she often saw her taking food upstairs. Hearing it we just shrugged our shoulders and didn't think much if it.
