FRESHMAN YEAR

Ryan is starting his first year of college, and he's feeling all nervous but he was also excited about the possibility that the future held.

the first day of class was fast approaching, and Ryan couldn't help but wonder what his life would be like at college. He wondered and wondered until he convinced himself that he was ready to face whatever the day brings.

....................................................................

It was a cold and raining day, the autumn wind howled through the bare braches of the tree sending a chill shades of grey, and the clouds hung low threatening rain. Ryan pulled his coat Tighter around his body and hurried along the sidewalk trying to escape the biting wind.

It was Ryan's first day of college, and he was on his way to the lecture hall. His heart was pounding in his chest as he walked down the hall, his clothes were soaked through from the rain.

He looked up and noticed that the hall was completely silent. He then started to feel his face burning up. His heart was racing, and his palms started to sweat.

Ryan was standing in the classroom, trying to decide where to sit. His best friend, James, entered the room and gave him a wave. 'Sorry I'm late, dude,' said James. 'I had to fix some things before class.' Ryan felt relieved that James had a good excuse for his tardiness, they both sat at started to chat. As Ryan was chatting with James, the door to the classroom swung open, and Professor Thomas walked in. He was a tall, imposing figure, with a neatly trimmed beard and wire-rimmed glasses. He was wearing a dark gray suit and a crisp white shirt. As he stepped into the classroom, the room became still and quiet. The students sat up straighter in their seats, and all eyes turned toward the front of the room. "Good morning, everyone," Professor Thomas said. "I hope you're all ready to learn."

Before he began his lecture, Professor Thomas turned to face the class and introduced himself. "My name is Professor Thomas, and I'll be your instructor for this course. I have a doctorate in English literature, and I've been teaching for over twenty years. I'm excited to share my knowledge and passion for literature with all of you." He paused for a moment, then continued. "Now, let's get started." The Student shifted in their seat eager to begin.

He then started with classic novels. He continued by listing out names of the novel authors. And as the professor listed out the names of the novel authors, Ryan jotted down the names on his notepad. He knew this was going to be a tough course, but he was ready to take on the challenge. He had always loved reading novels, and he was excited to learn more about the classics. As the professor continued speaking, Ryan's mind wandered to the classic novel "Pride and Prejudice" by Jane Austen. He had read the novel before, and he found it to be one of the most captivating novels he had ever read.

As the class ended, Ryan felt a rush of gratitude and excitement. Just as he was about to leave the classroom, he noticed James standing nearby. 'Hey, James,' he said, 'want to grab some coffee and take a walk around campus?' James nodded, a smile lighting up his face. And so, the two friends walked out. James has been Ryan's friend since childhood and he has been the only friend that Ryan has.
