His grip loosened and I looked back his body was laying there in the pool of blood.

I chuckled at his dead body and rubbed my scalp to ease the pain. I might look like a psychopath to laugh at the dead body but whatever.

I felt someone's presence behind me.

The cold wind hit my bare skin. It wasn't a good idea wearing short clothes. I slowly turn back and the cloth of tent covered my face due to the wind.

I slowly take it off my face to meet those beautiful brown staring at me. Our eyes met and he was looking at me as if I killed his family.

They were dark with anger.

" Rahul " I whispered

" Shruthi " he released a deep breath. His eyes full of concern.

I was ignoring all the screams from outside. My heart was beating fast. He walked towards me. Shruthi you can't fall for him!

" Where is advik " I asked. He stopped in his tracks staring at me.

" He's not here " he stated grabbing my wrist. He dragged me out of the tent and I saw everyone dead.

" You could have come faster " I complained.

" Sit " he ordered. This mf just ordered me?

" WHY? NO " I pushed him aside walking towards my car. I saw people in the bus crying.

I saw the guy who complained on me to those terrorists

He gave me a shy smile and I closed my eyes to not kill him. I gave him a fake smile and started walking towards him.

The guy started running

" Where are you.. " I heard rahul asking me. And I started running behind him.

He has been making me run circles in the same place. The guy wasn't tired a bit. He could be 5 year old but damn!

He smiles and I stand up running again.

" Ahh " he screams in horror and starts running. I hit a hard rock and my wound on my forehead started burning. I felt a hand wrapping around my waist

" What are you? 5 year old? " Rahul shouted. I look up to see him staring at me. I observed that in these years he has changed a lot. He looks super hot and especially right now. In his military uniform he looks like a sexy devil.

" I am talking to you " he let me go and I started missing his warmth already.

" Bhaiya save me from that didi " a voice interrupted us and I glance at the guy who's clutching Rahul's shirt behind him. Not gonna lie he looked super cute.

" What's your name boy " Rahul asked him

" Avinash. You can call me avi " he said between the hiccups

" Avi she's not gonna hurt you. She's a IAF officer. The person who she killed was a terrorist. He was gonna kill you all. You should be thankful that she saved you " Rahul explain him by patting his back.

I rolled my eyes at him.

Avi looked back at me and wiped his tears

" Sorry didi " he said

" Its okay " I was about to leave when I felt someone pulling my hair. I turned back and glared avinash who was still in rahuls arms.

He pulled my hair and he extended his hands indicating me to pick him up.

Rahul forcefully put avinash in my hands and when our hands touched I felt electricity passing through my body

Avi hugged me murmuring sorry in my ears. Automatically smile formed on my face and I rubbed his pack.

" It's okay baby. I am not angry " I said

" Really " he screamed in joy

He placed kiss on my cheek and I scrunched my eyebrows in pain. The guy who slapped me still stings. I kissed him back on the cheek.

Rahul who was smiling before is watching with annoyed expression.

Is he jealous? Lmao shruthi why would he be jealous of a 5 year old?

Avi left with his parents and I tried to look everywhere but him.

" Look at me " he ordered

" Huh? " I snapped my eyes towards him.

" You can't order me " I yelled

He sighed pushing me to the chair. There was a ambulance beside me and he went inside bringing first aid box.

" Ah " I let out a painful scream when he dabbed the medicine into my forehead without a warning.

He was very gentle whenever I got hurt. Even though we always hated each other. He never tried to hurt me and the way he looks at me. There were lots of emotions.

Now he looks empty. I can't understand him.

He furiously started dabbing my forehead and I catch his wrist.

" Be gentle " I said

" You are not a kid anymore " he says pushing my hand beside as he continued his work. This time he was very gentle

A smile crept my face. I continued staring at him

How can someone look so devilishly handsome?

" Stop staring " he yelled

My cheeks turned into red when I realized I was staring right infront of him.

" Thanks " I said

" I dint do this for you. Its because advik. I said I will bring you safe. So its my duty " he said. I rolled my eyes at him as I started walking.

I look back to see him walking the opposite direction! Rude asshole!

I walked towards my car when someone hugged me from behind out of no where.

" You are back " I sighed. Thats my boyfriend veer. Veer was a hot sexy bastard. But not as sexy as Rahul.

I mentally slapped myself

I turned towards him and hugged him. Veer also works in air force. We both met during our training and fell in love.

After our training, we separated and long distance sucked.

He got his bike and we reached the base camp soon. I met few officials and I finally entered my room while veer helped me to get my bags. It was a very small room with one bed.

I came out and saw many people roaming around the corridors.

Suddenly my eyes fell on the door infront of my room. The door was slightly open

And I peeked and saw rahul sitting on his bed.

I knocked before going inside. His sleeves were rolled up making him look more hot.

His injuries were small.

I looked around and found a first aid box. He looked confused.

" What are you doing here " he asked

I sat beside him and I could feel my heart blowing out due to the closeness.

" Where is advik " I asked him.

" He's on a mission " he said

I gently take his hand and I could feel him staring at me. My hands were trembling. I just don't know why.

" Shruthii " I heard veers voice outside.

" oh you are here " he said and I hear foot steps. I immediately leave rahul's hand. I stood up smiling at veer.

" Hey buddy " he said to rahul and rahul just nodded.

" This is rahul, shruthi " he said and I nodded

" And this " he pulled me closer by my waist. I was shocked on his sudden move and I saw Rahul's angry eyes digging daggers into his hand on my waist.

" My girlfriend shruthi " he announced and I closed my eyes. I open my eyes to see Rahul shocked but he just nodded.

He smirked coming towards us.

" Shruthi malhotra. Do you know she's advik's sister veer? " he asked veer and veer immediately leaves my waist. I looked confused.

Fuck ! I just realized that I dint tell him about anyone in my family.

Veer just held my hand and dragged me out. I glared at rahul but in a second he held my other hand which stopped veer in his tracks.

My eyes widened and glared at rahul. Who was now very angry.

" Shruthi is my bestfriends sister veer. I swear to God if you hurt her, you know the consequences " he warned

" He won't hurt me " I assured

" Why do you think I will hurt her. I am a man Mr.Singhania " veer said

The tension in the room kept growing as they both kept staring each other.

I dragged veer into my room leaving rahul behind.
