Is this feeling normal
Jacob in a black tux stood outside leaning lazily against the limo from time to time glancing at his watch,surely women take long to get ready but he wasn't the type who had patience waiting,he was a busy man
"maybe I should go and get her" before he even took two steps Liliana came out walking slowly toward him,he was completely stunned the world around him seems to have stopped,the woman he always bullied and called awful even though he knew full well she was most beautiful but not this beautiful the dress he chose for her looked breathtaking on her,he didn't how she would look in it but this was beyond his expectations..
"hello...jacob?"she waved her hand in front of him bringing him back to reality
"princess" he said faintly its like it wasn't his voice,why is she affecting him this much could this be the feelings he buried a long time ago resurfacing...
"do i look okay,you are just staring at me in a weird way jay"she frowned doesn't he like this dress
"you look fine,come on let's go"he ushered her to the limo avoiding making eye contact with her...feeling disappointed Liliana got in so did jacob and the car started moving....for some reason her heart felt heavy its like she was expecting him to compliment her just once but no "Cold as ever"
The limo came to a hall without realizing it they were already at their destination,she must have being lost in thoughts because the entire drive was utterly silent neither of them spoke to each other...the driver opened the door Jacob was the first to come out stretching his right hand to help Liliana like a proper gentleman he was(liliana chuckled inwardly at that)
"stay close to me" he said holding Liliana's hand as he led her inside attracting attention of a few people around who thought they were a lovely couple wearing matching masks..
"wow now this is glamorous" she had to say this place looked amazing from the decorations to the lighting it was a beautiful sight to see
"jay how am I going to find my target like this?" everyone here had masks on how will she find that damn chris..
"don't worry you will without trouble"he assured her "let me introduce u to a few of my acquaintance" he led her to a group of elegantly dressed ladies giggling about god knows what they looked beautiful,next he introduced her to his business partners who insisted on her taking off her mask but she plainly refused with a fake smile...
"feeling tired princess??"she has only taken one glass of champagne her head was already spinning "am going to the garden for some fresh air"Jacob only nodded and resumed his conversation with his friends...
These sandals where killing her walking was impossible without knowing she bumped into a blonde haired lady wearing a short black dress with silver butterfly mask
"watch where you are going"the lady said in anger
"so sorry"Liliana said politely she was in no mood to put this bitch in her place but if she happens to meet her next hell will fall on her...
"whatever"the lady spat out and left
stepping outside the huge mansion Liliana breathed in the fresh air she was yearning for,it was chilly today but either way she liked it...
She spotted a beautifully made little hut from afar 'probably meant for relaxing' without hesitation she took long strides towards it but stopped midway,there was a man standing in the middle his coat was on the ground glass pieces were scattered all around him,liliana gulped in fear at the frightening sight in front of her blood was oozing from the man's hand as if it were a tap left open,she was tough but this sight made her weak in the knees,without knowing she ran to him but the man yelled anger..
"fuck off!!"his voice was scary and soft at the same time his hair was a bit messy probably because of running his hands through it..
"s..sir you are bleeding badly you need a doctor"was this man crazy or is he asking for a death wish or what,she was no doctor but judging by the pool of blood on the ground he has lost quite a gallon of it
"get lost!!" this time he looked at her in pure rage,this was a signal for her to run but to her surprise her feet didn't agree as she stayed rooted to the same place,she couldn't move...
"nothing good will come out of this"she muttered to herself and ran towards him "take a seat and let me treat this before it gets infected sir"to her surprise the man did as she said carefully she removed the remaining glass pieces in his hand and washed out the rest with water....she didn't have any bandages or ointment,for god sake she didn't even bring her purse with her only her phone
"is it okay if I use your neck tie instead"the man nodded he wasn't wearing a mask she could see his face properly...quickly she got the tie and used it as bandage tying it around securely with a knot,after she was done she smiled happily the blood stopped,It worked
"you are welcome"saying that she took her phone and left,all this time the man sat quietly his anger had long vanished its like he was frozen in time,even when Chris called his name several times he didn't burge..
"bro what the heck happened here..how did u hurt yourself"chris tried to shake him back to reality but he only received a strange look from him
