Chapter 32: Preparing for Seg's labor day part 1

Snow rolled her eyes when she saw Ken, mopping the floor early in the morning.

What sh*t this man destroyed this time?

Ever since Ken found out where she is, he always cook breakfast for her.

But because of his clumsiness, every time he try to carry the tray of her foods, it would slipped in his hands and drop everything.

"Good morning! Your breakfast is ready, go eat while it's hot." His more like a housewife than a pianist or whatever they calm him!

Besides, he is not only good at instruments. He's also a famous chef, they call him the guy with a magic hands, they are exaggerating. But Ken never lift even a single tray in his life! Even though the costumers specially to cook and delivered their food, he refused abruptly.

Snow looked at the dishes on the table and smiled. It's all her request last night.

They fought each other last night because Ken won't cook the foods she have been craving. He said it's not healthy for her and the baby.

But what can he do? It's the craving of a pregnant woman!

Also, he remembers one of their friends motto.

A happy wife means happy life.

He don't remember who said that but he is sure it's one of his friends.

Snow eat happily while Ken is cleaning their condo. He also prepared their clothes and somethings they need.

They are going back in Salatueras before Seg give birth.

It was a promise they made when they found out that Erica gave birth without anyone on her side. Only Snow and Seg.

Now that Seg and Drey eloped, they really shouldn't stay by there side. The more people where they are the more the risk that their cover would blow out.

But since they insist on inviting them, then it means they don't care.

But it's also a safe mood. Knowing that they are all powerful, no one would dare to disagree with them.

"Hey. I'm done. You can wash the dishes." Ken smiled softly even though he want to protest. His upset that she's treating him like that. They are having a baby but she can't still forgive him. Is she planning to give our baby an incomplete family.

But Snow is just so cute while touching her belly. Her eyes are full of love. Her face turned soft unlike how cold it is when talking to him.

SEG glared at Drey.

The man stop what he was doing when he noticed Seg's glares at him.

"What's wrong, Dina?" She massages her belly and smiled. She purposely ignored Drey while laying at the hospital bed.

She does not want to waste her time, panicking when her water broke. So, she forced her husband, yup, she claimed it. So, she forced Drey to bring her to the hospital before her water broke.

As of now, Jen is the first one to arrive, since she's close to where they are hiding. It's pretty awkward since they are not that close and they don't have anything in common.

And Drey, he still hold grudge to those who hurt his sister and that includes her.

"Hey, why are you ignoring me?" He asked as he pucker his lips and look at her.

But then again, Seg ignored him.

Drey sighed and stood up.

He sat besides her bed and touch her big belly.

"Babies, don't make Mommy have a hard time, ok? Go out immediately so Mommy won't hurt too much." He said softly. His eyes is glisten in happiness. He bent down and kiss Segundina's tummy.

Hearing what Drey said, Seg feel warmth at her heart. The anger she felt a while ago disappeared in an instant.

She caress his hair softly and ahe felt that Drey lips curve up. She can't help herself but to smile happily.

Seeing this scene, Jen stood up silently, not wanting to disturb the couple.

She feel so jealous. Her friends are so lucky, despite all of their flaws and faults, here they are, being pampered by their husbands! While she...

She sneered and dismissed her thoughts.

She suddenly feel her throat dry, so she went to the nearest vending machine when she thought of buying some foods to eat too.

So, instead of heading to the vending machine, she went outside and went to the nearest cafe.

All her friends are addicted coffees and such. Since when they were young, one of their meeting place are at Erica's second floor cafe.

ERICA is so tired. Since she manage their company, she seldom sleep. Without her coffee buddy, she might have collapse in the middle of their meeting.

She finished all her work until this morning, that includes her work as a lawyer. She gave all most all her cases to her colleagues except for the murder case of his annoying client.

Though, Mr . Genius want to have it, she didn't give it to him. She already gave him a lot of cases yet he wants more! She can't help but to think that this man is just annoying her.

They are at the same level when it comes to their skills. So, she knows that he also have a lot of clients yet he keeps on bothering her with her cases.

She stood up from her seat and take a shower. Her office actually have a secret door, which leads you to her look a like condo.

Like the office of Ziv's doctor friend.

But Erica's condo is dull. Almost all colors are black, from the walls to her bedsheets. Even the tiles on it are black. Her curtains are black. Her closet is black, maybe only some of her clothes is not black.

She have a kitchen but it's empty. Since, she don't have to cook food there because her twin always cook for her or Old Ryu buy one for her.

Her bathroom is also all black, her shower, the bathtub some of her beauty products there are black colored.

After Erica takes shower, she went to visit her father.

It's fine to take a day off for once. Old Ryu is there to help her. So, Erica is not really that worried when she left her father's company.

"Mom, you look exhausted!" Erica said and sit beside her mother. She softly pull her mother into hug.

"You lied..."

"I'm sorry. I don't want you to lay in an hospital bed, too!" Her mother sniffed as tears is rolling down in her cheeks.

"Did Daddy woke up yet or not?"

"He did but only for a while." They let go of each other after she calm down.

"Mom, I'll just talk with the doctor." She said and stood up. She smiled before leaving her mother.

Shabina put her handkerchief in her pocket, this time she made sure it didn't fall.

The weather in their

country is pretty cold. So, when the wind pass through her, Shabina shivered.

She glanced at her skirt and snorted.

It's cold.

She's not wearing any gloves so, he put her hands in her pockets to relieve the cold.

She frowned. She look at her watch and walk faster.

Erica woke up late.

What worse is today is their first day at all boys school.

She's actually worried because some of them are still grade seven.

She knew Jen can handle them clearly but it's her job.

Well, It's not like I'll do the talking.

She finally reached the tall gate of the school. It didn't amaze her because their school is similar to each other, just a little parts are not.

"Geez, now how am I going to find my classroom? I'm not good at directions. Today is not my day." She said after showing her id to the guard.

The guard when she heard her.

He look at her school id, then her.

"Miss Marquat, when you enter the gate, there's a man waiting for you. He'll guide you." He smiled and handed her school id to her.

She smiled a little and bow slightly before entering the gate.

She looked around searching for the man but she can't see anyone.

Did he fool me?

"Hey." Someone suddenly tapped her shoulder and in her defense, she twisted the arm and the man groan in pain.

"Shab!"

"I told you, you didn't listen. Don't blame anyone!" She heard her friends said and some laughters and boo's.

"That hurts! Woman, you dare to twist my hand!"

His brows furrowed.

His fingers hurt a lot, it feels like it was hit with rock! He let out a heavy breathe and sighed.

Ziv massages his hand hoping it ease the pain.

"Jerk. It's your fault. How dare you touch a woman without their consent!" Shabina glared at Ziv. She can't believe she adored this kind of man!

Ziv, on the other hand, feel so happy. His heart is beating so fast while looking at her delicate face. She looks so fierce and strong.

"What an oldie." He said.

She smiled sarcastically before turning her back at him.

She smiled.

She just smiled and it made him breathless.

He want to see a more reaction on that emotionless face.

He want to see how this woman act cutely.

He want her.

At that moment he knew, he lose at his own game.

He lose in love.

He lose his heart to Shabina Erixie Catelyn Marquat.
