Chapter 11: Family I can't give

We didn't talk. I've got no guts to explain or to talk to him about it. I hate him.

I'm at his condo, sitting like a queen in his sofa. He is taking a bath and I've been waiting for almost an hour!

Well, I think his mad because since we entered his condo I didn't talk to him, and he patiently wait for me to talk but I didn't. So yeah, he must have been trying to make me angry too so he stayed there for almost an hour.

I'm so damn bored so I stood up and decided to explore his condo. Well, it's so plain and natural. Not so like him, maybe he don't have time to decorate it? But he have a family, right? Why stay in a condo and not their house?

Did they fight?

Whatever, it's not like it's part of my business. I stop at the first room of his condo, I don't think I should do this, I'm invading his privacy. So I decided to go back at my sit and sit like a queen again.

His not done yet? He always shower too fast before..

I stood up again, getting impatient. I went where his fridge and look for a food there. When I open it, it only contains of water, cup noodles, some veggies and a bunch of cake and gummies. This is what he eats?! Is he even healthy?!

And why would you put a cup noodles in the fridge?!

"Are you hungry?" I almost drop the cake and gummies in my hand when a familiar voice suddenly corrupt my ears!

I can feel his warm breath in my neck, he lifted my hands and guide it near the table. I put the cake and gummies in the table, I was about to step back when he came closer and put both of his hand in my sides, trapping me in his arms.

My heart beat fast.

And it's not good.

"Should we talk now?" I nodded. Hoping that he'll let me go if I agreed, but hell no! He didn't, instead he pulled my waist and put his neck on my shoulder. I tried to pushed him, really I tried. But my strength is not enough! He didn't even move!

"Ahm? So?" He ask softly, giving my neck a gentle and warm kisses.

I shivered in disgust. "How dare you do this to me?!" Without thinking thoroughly, I slap him hard. His jaw clench, he obviously trying to control his anger.

One thing I like about him is, his patience is very long when it comes to me.

"Erica, I've been tolerating you for the past few years. But this is what I get? Lies?!" He calmly said. I'd rather choose him to shout at me, scold me! Than this.. because Ziv is really, really angry when he act that way in this kind of situation.

But I'm not scared! This guy seriously have a thick face. "Tolerating me for the past few years? Really, Ziv? How shamless!"

He didn't speak so I continued. "Lies? What lies, huh? Between the two of us you're the one who's lying!" His face darkened, he bit his lower lips trying to suppress any words to come out from his mouth.

He angrily let go of me, I almost trip! "Shit! I didn't mean to-" I step backward, avoiding his hands to touch me. Darn no! He might harm me.

He looks frustrated and tried to touch me again but I avoided it and sit in the sofa.

"Why are you so scared to be touch, huh? Even my friends noticed it. Yes, they can touch you, only if you're aware when they look calm. But if you're not aware and they don't look calm, you flinch Erica!" I look down. I can't look at him, I feel so dirty and disgusted.

"What do you want to know?" I ask softly, still looking down. I'm afraid that once I look to his eyes, I might cry and tell everything to him. He is Ziv.. he got that power on me.

"Everything.. I want to know everything, Erica. Since the day I left you.." I smiled bitterly and closed my eyes.

"It happened when I leave the house because you send me message, telling me to meet you at the airport. Of course I'm so happy because finally! I can see you, but hell the moment I step outside.. I regret it. I was .. I was ra-"

"MOM? ARE YOU THERE?! I'VE SEEN THE UNCLE CAR AT THE PARKING LOT!" A small but authoritative voice were heard after the loud knock. I simply wipe my tears so he won't notice it. I tried to smile happily but I failed. So I tried it again, but this time I succeed.

But that smile turned awkward when I notice Ziv that his looking at me seriously but dangerously. I shivered.

"Mom?" This time it's a soft voice. I's Yelena.

I was about to stand up to open the door but Ziv is faster than me." Stay there." He said seriously so I obediently followed. I heard him open the door.

"Daaaddddyyyyy!" Shoot! Yelena will really become the cause of my death.

I went towards only to see Yelena and Mirk hugging Ziv. They look happy and lovely, I don't have the heart to get mad and ruined it.

It's our dream...it's feels fulfilling seeing our dream came true. But, it's only temporary. Ziv... has his own family now. I can't ruin it just because my kids needs him.

I know my kids better than anyone else. They would understand my decision, Yelena and Mirk are smart and kind. I know that they would be sad if they knew that Ziv has his own family and I ruined it for their happiness.

Mirk knew about it already, the reason why he hates Ziv so much. He can't have a perfect family because Ziv is giving a perfect family to another person.

"Mommy." Mirk said and runs towards me.

"Let's go home?" He asked and I nodded.

"Is daddy coming with us, mommy?" Yelena asked excitedly, happiness and contentment is what I can see in her eyes. I shook my head.

By my answer, Mirk knew already that there's something wrong.

"Yelena, that uncle is not our dad. Don't push it lil sis, uncle has a family if they would hear you, what do you think they would feel?" Yelena shook her head and nodded slightly. She cried on Ziv shoulders. At that moment she knew, she knew that Ziv, her father won't be ours. Won't complete their dream to have a perfect family.

A family that consist a father, mother, sister and brother.

A family that I can't give to them. The only thing in this world that I refused to give them.
