Ruby's POV

I stood there with wide eyes as I saw Ethan walking away. I can't believe what I just heard from him. Did he really gave up on Liz? Why isn't she back anyway? Wasn't she suppose to come here by the time Ethan came back? What happened to him and her? My thoughts were cutted off when I heard Andrew groaning behind me. I turned on my heels and walked over to him. I cupped his cheek with my hands and looked at him in the eye "Are you okay?" I said. He only smiled at me "Yea-Ow!" He shouted "Did you broke your back?" I smirked at him "Wha-no! I am a mighty wolf!" He defended "Oh really?" I step closer to him "Well, uh...you see...." He mumbled which made me laugh "Ha ha, you're weak around me I see" I smiled innocently as he glared playfully at me "I'll get you some other time, sweetheart" He said.

"Maybe I should check on Ethan now, I'm worried about him. I mean, he didn't even discuss about Liz when he got back" I frowned "Do you realise what he do to you?" Andrew asked me "I know he shouted at me, but I know he did because of what his dad and Lacey do to him. I would do the same if that happens to me" I explained as Andrew nodded slowly "Then we're going to check on him" He smiled "What? You're literally limping around you know?" I raised my eyebrow. "I'm strong enough when I have you around" He said before he kissed the top of my head. I blushed madly and received a chuckle from him. I slap his arm playfully and we both burst out laughing.

Ethan's POV

I wish I hadn't wake up this morning. Usually, I'll always be in full energy every morning. The reason? Easy. I need Lizzy. But you know the story, she rejected me, and she got someone new in her life. Should I just end this life? No, that would effect Lizzy and my family even more. I sigh deeply. My head shot to the door when I heard a knock on it. I didn't bother to answer and drop my head, looking at the floor. "Ethan? You in there?" Ruby's voice rang "Go.Away." I said coldly wishing she'd listen to me. But knowing Ruby, She keeps on knocking the damn door. I groan and marched to the door and shouted to her "For the love of God go away Ruby! Jesus!"

"Umm, No, because I have to bring back the old Ethan that I know! So open the goddamn door!" She shouted "I don't care, just go away!" I shouted louder this time "What if I told you that Liz is here?" She said as my eyes went wide. I put my hand on the door knob, ready to twist it open but my wolf whimpered inside me and I felt a pang in my heart all over again and I sigh "Lizzy's not there is she?" I whispered and I heard Ruby sigh at the other end of the door "I'm just trying to cheer you up there Ethan. I hate seeing you like this. I know you miss Liz and I miss my bestie too..." She said sadly. Tears started to form in my eyes again. Damn, I hate how much I cried these past few days. But who doesn't when they lost their special someone "Ruby I- c-can you help me say something to my father?" She hums in response.

"Please tell my dad that Lacey and her father can't live here anymore? And that I denied every meeting that he has for me and please make Andrew the Alpha when the time has come and not me because I can't think straight like this?" I said very fast. "Well, I agreed on the Lacey part, but not in the Andrew's part. I mean, I'm not even a wolf yet!" She shout the last part. "He knows what to do with that, Ruby" I said "But, you can't just give your-" I cut her off "Please Ruby?" She sighs "Fine" then I heard her walking away. I sigh to myself looking up the ceiling. I closed my eyes and fill my head with memories of Lizzy again. "Why'd you reject me when you know that I don't love Lacey?" I said in a whisper.

I stood up and went to the bathroom to have a long hot shower. After what felt like 1 hour, I got out of the shower and use my casual white shirt and jeans. I completed my morning routine and lay down on my bed. I sigh again and just then, I heard a knock on my door. Well, more like banging on it. "Ethan! You can't do this to me! You can't just kick me out!" Lacey's voice sounded making me groan "Ethan Black! I order you to come out of your room this instance! I don't give a shit of what your doing, just get out before I break down your door!" My dad's voice continued. "And here I am, not giving a damn about your problem" I mocked both of them "You're going to pay for this Ethan, You and your whole family!" Lacey shouted "Son, get out right now!" Dad screamed after Lacey

I didn't care about them anymore and ignored them completely. I got up from my bed and walk over to my bedroom window looking at the forest outside. It was peaceful for a moment before my dad literally barge in and broke my door. He started shouting at me again along with Lacey while I ignored them and looked out the window. How could this day get any worse. I touch my window sighing to myself. "I've made a decision!" I shouted and they all went silent in a speed of light and I finally looked at dad "Andrew will be taking my place as the next Alpha with Ruby as the Luna," I turned my gaze to Lacey "And you will no longer live here, and you should just...Get a live and move on!" I said as everyone started gasping in shock. "Now, if you'll excuse me, please get out of my room and please fix my damn door" I said.

"Son, you can't do this!" My dad shouted at my face and I glared at him "You didn't even know what I want, dad, You always do things your way, you never realised how much it affects me or everyone! And don't you dare call me your 'son' cuz you never treated me like one. You never-" I stopped myself when I felt a stinging pain on my cheek. I didn't even realise that he had slapped me in the face "Don't talk to me like that" My dad said as I stood there, unable to say anything. Mom, Andrew, and Ruby rushed in the room and tried to comfort me, but I just ran away from there. Tears started forming in my eyes and threatened to fall to my cheeks. I ran to one of the rooms and locked myself in. I'm never gonna talk to anyone again, I'm gonna live here, no matter what they say, I won't listen to anyone anymore. I sworn on that.
