Chap-1 HER

It was a bright clear morning.The warm rays of the sun entered a cosy room through the translucent curtains to grace the small body covered with bed covers. Only her head was out with her thick black locks scattered on the pillow and her baby hairs brushing against her face which was peaceful due to her deep slumber.

She stirred from her sleep disturbed due to the chirping of the alarm and tried to silence it, but wasn't able to find the spot of the alarm.

She got up irritated and silenced the alarm. Then she walked toward the window only to push aside the curtains to feel the warm rays of the sun and to enjoy the scenery before her.

A smile graced her lips making her even more angelic standing with the rays tracing her beautiful body.

She then proceeded to tidy up her bed and then freshened herself up.

Then the 19 year old descended the stairs only to be greeted by her mother and father with a warm hug and a kiss.

Both her parents were at home since it was Sunday.

Form the time she was small they had a no-work-on Sunday rule. It was only ment for the family where they spend a relaxing day together away from their hectic work.

Her father John Harris was a big businessman and her mother Alena Harris was the owner of Confiaza a big jewelry store.

Though her family was well off Leila was taught to be grounded and grateful for what he had. Her family made regular donations to the charity.

She had strong values that were taught to her form a very young age. She always wanted to be independent,she was a bright student.

She was now going to college to pursue her intrest in arts on scholarship.

She also works part-time at a café after her classes.

"I'm planning to have a nice family vacation at Paris" announced her dad while having their breakfast.

He continued saying "It's been a long time since we had any family vacations and Leila's summer break starts in 2 weeks, what do you say?"

"Daddy omg that's really nice it's been a very long time since we've been to Paris" said Leila her face lit up with excitement.

"That's a nice idea honey, we should really get some break" said Alena smiling.

"Leila invite Noe and her family too, we can all have a great time together" said John

"Yes dad I will" said Leila beaming.

The family started having a long conversation on what they would do in Paris.

After her breakfast, Leila decided to meet her bestfriend, Noe.

Luckily for her Noe was her neighbour, they were bestfriends since the very time Leila moved into the neighborhood.They were ride or die.

They have a very deep connection and could figure out each other's feelings just by looking at each other.

"Noe is upstairs still sleeping I've tried waking her for 5 times but that sleeping log didn't even stir"

"You better wake her you" said Mrs. Jones.?" Asked Mrs. Jones

"I'm fine aunt, how are you?" Replied Leila.

"I'm doing well dear."

Leila laughed " yes aunt i will,she will definitely wake up when I try"

She then proceeded to climb the stairs and enter her friends messy room .

"Noeeeeeeee" she shouted in her bestfriends ear.

Noe stirred " shut up Leila, I'm having an amazing dream".

But Leila didn't give up she wanted to do something naughty, she went to the washroom filled a glass with water,

Then dumped in on Noe's face.

"Aaaaahhhhhh" screamed Noe and ended falling on the floor hitting her butt.

"Leilaaaa !!!!" She shouted

Leila count control how funny the situation was and she bursted out laughing seeing Noe's face that was red with anger and her messy hair giving her a comical look.

"This my revenge for you dumping water on ke ther other day" said Leila in between her laugh.

"Well anyways goodmorning sleepy head!! We have a long day!! Remember we have to go shopping?"

"Yes yes LEILA"

"Gosh you really spoiled my dream, the guy was really hot" wined Noe.

"Hahahaha come on how many times will you have these dreams when a hot guy would come be a gentleman and propose to you?"

"Don't you feel bored having the same kind of dreams?" Mocked Leila

"Come on Leila you would know it if you ever had the idea of falling in love" retorted Noe.

"Yes yes I will fall in love, but it will happen when it happens, but for now I'm content with what I am" said Leila.

"Bla bla bla bla yea yea say the same thing again, it would be very enjoyable to see if you fall in love"

"So I can tease you every freaking day"said Noe smirking

Leila rolled her eyes.

Noe freshened up and had her breakfast while her mother was scolding her for sleeping for very long time.

Then Noe and Leila dressed up to go for shopping.

Then they both got into Noe's car and both drove to the clothing store.

Leila said "Noe, me and my family are going to Paris this summer break, do you and your family want to join?"

"Daddy asked and conveyed that he would be pleased to have your family on a joint vacation"

Omg omg yes yes!!!!

"That's a great idea Leila we both can have such a good time exploring the city and the awesome male species in it!!!" Squealed Noe.

Leila rolled her eyes and said " you and your obsession with men" and both bursted out laughing.

They both bought nice dressed for the vacation.

Noe was he'll bound in getting Leila a revealing body con dress, Leila was continuously objecting it because it's not something that she would wear.

But Noe didn't care and bought it without knowing to Leila.

After shopping they went to their usual restaurant where they were regular coustomers .

They manager welcomed them with a warm smile and showed them to their seats.

They ordered their usuals and were deep in conversation about all the gossips they heard.

Suddenly a voice that displeased them entered their ears, and found Caroline standing at their table.

" Oh look the low lives are sitting here"

"Ashley why didn't you tell me these kind of people dine here?". Caroline told to one of the girls in her group.

Noe retorted saying " yes Ashley you should have told her that we're regular customers here, atleast that would have saved us from seeing this filthy face."

Leila squeezed Noe's hand and gave her a warning look.

"Shut up Noe, if you don't want my father to get a bad impression on your father" said Caroline sarcastically.

"Omg I was wondering when that sentence would come out!!!" Said Noe

"Yes yes you should definitely tell your daddy everything that has happened, we'll see how impressed he will be after getting to know his daughter's actions from everyone" said Noe smirking.

" I will definitely get you both for this" said Caroline with gritted teeth and walked out of the restaurant.

Caroline was in short a bully she was the daughter of a very famous businesses man Mr. Richard Wilson.

Mr. Wilson was a kind hearted man and was friends with Leila's father and was partners with Noe's father, Mr. David Herrman.

Mr.Wilson didn't know that Caroline was a bully, she always succeeded to escape any situation.

Caroline and her minions went to the same school with Noe and Leila.

Caroline was always jealous of Leila because she was very attractive and beautiful with her curvy body, tanned skin, brown eyes, pout lips, thick black wavy hair. And she was also jealous of Noe due to her jolly personality that made anyone call in love with her.Both of them are really kind and caring.

She was jealous of Noe and Leila's friendship.

And Caroline didn't like how Leila and Noe were less rich that her but still managed to get all the attention, be good scoring students.

"Gosh!! I wish she sprout few brain cells" said Noe.

Leila bursted out laughing and said "atleast one cell would do her justice".

They shrugged off everything that has happened and continued talking and after finishing their food, they decided to go window shopping.

They later headed to their houses after telling their byes.

It was already 8pm and cursing herself for getting late she entered her house.

While entering her house, Leila saw her parents talking and being all lovey-dovey sitting at the poarch in the garden.

Somethings never change, her parents love for each other, their love remained the same even after many years.

Even though they fight occasionally, they end up understanding and caring for each other.

Though she never had any relationships until now, she never really was intrested in having relationship anytime soon.

But Leila always wanted a relationship like her parents which was filled with love, joy, care, understanding, loyalty.

Her parents spotted her and waved at her and called her to them.

She walked towards them beaming and sat in between her parents and the small, happy family started talking while gazing at the star filled sky.
