Chapter Twelve: Would I have to bare this alone?

"If she's your girlfriend then who I'm i to you"The girl said and I became totally confused because i don't know on who's side is he gonna be.

Mason was about to reply but she went inside his house with a sigh.

"I'm coming Kimberly I need to attend to some things"Mason said and was about to enter the house but I stopped him by dragging him back.

"You aren't going anywhere until you tell me what she meant"I yelled.

"Kimberly just go when I get to school tomorrow I would explain every single thing but for now, you would have to go."He said then went inside his house slamming his door behind.

I knew it would surely turn out this way,I said to myself.

"Let's go Kimberly,I have a plan and I would tell you how it goes."Ashley said and I focused on her.

"C'mon"She uttered then we both went out of his house then entered my car.

I was devastated and the way I was driving,I could have an accident.All my mind and thought were on Mason and that birch that is with him.

Mason had been my crush since junior high school, but not until senior high that I got close to him and he also told me he likes me..And now a bitch from no where is trying to take him from me.

"So what's the plan you have in mind?"I asked her still focused on the road.

"Well the plan might not work but we would try.The plan goes like this"She started.

She continues"Firstly we would make Investigation on the girl who is without mason.we would search about her, know her father and who she's related with.

Secondly,we would search on how she's related without mason whether he is lying or not then once it has been accomplished,we would send some guys and men to abduct her then you would have Mason to yourself.

"Where would you find the guys and men that would abduct her?"I asked her.

"You would leave that to me,but for now we would start from the first plan"She replied.

Ashley is always this girl who comes up without plan especially when it comes a guy cheating on a girl or a girl cheating on a guy.

And if you need someone to give you an advice on a good relationship just meet Ashley she's very good at it.

I continue to drive until I got home,well Ashley was doing a sleep over in my house and she had already brought her clothes yesterday.

"Aren't we gonna go shopping for the sleep over tonight?"Ashley asked.

"Sure we would go but I would have to get my credit card"I answered.

We both came down but Ashley didn't followed me into the house.

I met mom on the sofa reading a magazine,she was really focused on it that she didn't know when I entered the house.

"Hey mom"I greeted then climbed the stairs leading to my room.i got inside the room then searched my drawer looking for my credit card.

I searched the first part of the drawer but didn't see it,I checked the second then found it.i took it then placed in my purse which I was holding.

I got out of my room then locked it before climbing down the stairs.i got back to the sitting room but didn't find mom.i guess she would be in the kitchen.

Well,I wanna tell her about Ashes doing a sleep over with me but since I didn't meet her In the sitting room,I guess I would be telling her about it when I come back.

I walked out of the house then saw Ashley leaning on my car.she was pressing her phone and she was more serious pressing it.

"It's time to go"I announced then she paused pressing her phone.

I opened the door to the driver's seat then sat on it. Ashes opened the door next to the driver's seat then sat on it.

"I want you to take a look at this "Ashley Said and since I was eager to know what she wanted to show me,I took a look at it and saw it was an high heel show made of gold.

It was so flashy and it was exactly the type I love.well,I love things that are flashy, expensive and things that are well fashioned.

"Do you like this?"She asked.

"Yeah,I love everything about it.i pray I find it in the mart."I said then turned on the ignition of the car.

I started to drive the car through the road until I finally got to our destination.

The mart was the most expensive and it's where I do shop anytime I need someone classic.

We both alighted from the car then walked into to the mart.

As we entered we met a guy he was welcoming us but I only wave my hands and continue to walk.

"So where should we start from?"I asked Ashley who was engrossed onher phone.

She raised her head"Let's start with the dress"she said.

We walked to the clothes section and saw different kinds of clothes.the flashy ones,the classic ones and the casual ones.

But since it was only for the sleep over,I took some if the casual clothes which I like.

It was beautiful and pretty with the flowers which were drawn on the cloth and that's was one of the reasons I chose it.

"Won't you drop your phone Ashely, we both need to chose on which clothes and shoes we would use for the sleep over"I yelled.

She turn off the phone and began to take a look at the clothes in from of us.

"I chose this because of the flowers on the clothes"I said showing her the clothes I had just chose.

"They are great but we need more prettier ones"She commented.

We kept checking out the clothes until we finally took ten clothes.

We took a walk to the shoe section but the kind of shoes I like weren't there and I didn't get interest in chosing or buying them.

"I don't like any of this shoes Ashely, let's get out of here.we would have to manage the ones at home rather than buying this."I said.

"If you say so."Ashley said rolling her eyes then we both walked away.

We got to the counter were we would pay the money for the clothes we bought.

The total amount for everything was five hundred dollars,so I brought out the money from my purse then handed it over to the cashier.

She placed all the clothes and shoes in a nylon which was for their mart then handed it to me.

"We would expect you next time"she said politely but I only scoffed.

I and Ashley walked out of the Mart but as we were about reaching our car Ashley bumped into someone.she was actually not seeing because she was using her phone.

She looked up and saw it was a guy.hua hair was curly and he was on a suit.

Ashely opened her mouth but she wasn't saying anything.

I guess she was drooling at him,but to me he isn't handsome like my cute Mason.

"H...e..y"She stammered."I'm sorry I didn't know you were coming,I was engrossed with what I was doing on my phone and I'm very sorry I bumped into you"She rushed her words.

"No need to apologize, I'm okay"He replied then he continued walking.

"Oops,I can't believe I bumped to someone as handsome as that"She said as she joined me.

"But he isn't as cute as my Mason"I said and she rolled her eyes.

"Whatever"she muttered.

I just hope I'm able to drive her to the hospital before it's late,I thought.

I don't know what would have caused her to faint but I'm sure it's gonna be the food because it didn't taste the exact way it use to.

I turned on the ignition then the car started.since my entire life,I have never drove a car before but now I have to because my sister's life is at danger.

Gosh,I need to be careful.

I began to drive the car slowly,but later increased it's pace.

All my mind was on Alexa and also the way I'm driving the car.

The car was beginning to make some creepy sounds but I ignored it and continue to drive.

After some minutes I pulled up into the hospital then came out of the car.

I walked to backseat then opened the door.i brought Alexa out carefully from the car.

I carried her despite her weight into the hospital then some nurse brought a carrier where she was placed on before been carried to a ward.

I didn't know which ward she was put in but all they did was to tell me to wait outside so I did so.

Gosh,I just pray she's gonna be well and safe.

I don't wanna miss my sister who is my only best friend.

I was still in deep thoughts until I was been tapped by someone.i looked up and saw it was Chloe, Alexa's friend.

"Where's she?"She asked.

"I don't know the ward she was been put in but what they told me was to stay outside and wait."I explained to her and I could see worried written boldly on her face.

She was worried and bothered about her friend,I guess there is no different between I and her situation because we are both worried about the same person.

"I just pray she's okay"She said and I wondered if she knows what happen to her.

"Do you know what happened to her?"I asked and she nodded.

"Yeah,I do know.she ate a food which affected her"She replied and i was surprised.

"How do you know?"I asked and she only chuckled.

"That question would be answered another day."She replied.

We were both silent and that's because of my sister and her friend.

I began to pray to God in my heart, hoping had having faith he would hear and answer my prayer.

After some minutes the doctor came to where I was.

"Are you are brother?"He asked.

"Yeah,I am"I replied.

"Follow me,I need to see you"He said and I began to trail him behind.

We got to his office then he opened the door.we walked inside then he offered me a seat to sit on.

He also sat on his seat then brought out some documents from his drawer then handed it to me.

"Fill this first, it's an information we need to know about her."The doctor said.

He had already provided me a pen so I started to fill it.

I was done so I handed it back to him.

"According to our test,she was said to be poisoned by food."He started.

"Something which was not supposed to be added in the food was added and that's what is affecting her right now"He continued.

"So what I'm i gonna do now?"I asked.

"Do you have any one who is staying with you,like your parents or guardian?"He asked and I nodded negatively.

"Then it means your sister would have to undergo two surgeries"He said and at first my heart stopped for a while.

"So you mean she would have to undergo two surgeries because of the food poison?"I asked still confused.

"Yeah"He replied.

Gosh, what I'm i gonna do.

Mom is no where to be found and dad is dead while Alexa is on the sick beg.

Would I have to bare this alone?.
