Chapter Thirteen:Heading to Chloe's house

A message popped on my phone then I took it to check who sent and what's it's talking about.

But my greatest surprise it was from an unknown number but the message was saying."I need to see you Marcus,I know you wouldn't know the person sending you this message..but don't worry,just come outside your gate I'm waiting for you.".

I tried guessing who would send the message but I couldn't because different things are on my mind and I can't know who exactly would send me the message.

So Anxiously and eagerly I decided to go outside and check who it was.

I open the gate then found someone who u had always loved.

Someone who was there with me,she always promised that no matter what happens she would be with me but she left and now she's right in from of me.

She was chewing gum I guess and was standing with her phone in her hands.she was engrossed with it that she didn't know I was already in front of her.

"Hey,"I said then she looked up and saw me.

"Hi"she also said and I began to get nervous.

Because I don't know why she's here and I also don't know how I would talk to her.

"Why are you here?"I decided to ask her to keep the conversation going.

"Umm.. let's say.. I'm here to inform you that your dad told me to be a judge for the competition he organized in your name and he also said I should hand over this document to you"She said and I was totally confused and surprised.

Dad made a judge in the competition he organized in my name?,this is so.weird.

"He made you a judge?"I asked in disbelief.

"Yeah,I don't know the reason why because he didn't tell me"She replied rudely.

"Ooh,okay"that was the only thing I could say.

"And less I forgot, here is a message I have for you."She said and handed me an envelope.

I collected and didn't want to open in from of her.

"Bye"She said then walked into her car.i heard the sound of her ignition before she drove.

I just stood there still dumbfounded about what just happened.

My first love just visited and now she's gone again,we didn't even have conversation like we use to,or even hug like the couples we are.

I guess things had really changed totally with her.

Walking back into my house was what i did before entering the sitting room.

Well,the house isn't as big as what a real celebrity would build but it's just an ordinary bungalow with flowers designing it.

And it is like that because I like the way it is.

I'm so eager to open the message and now what she wrote in it but I'm still wondering why dad would make her a judge on the competition.

At first he started the competition announcement without me knowing now he is still making someone I had once love part of the judges.

I still don't know why he is doing it.

After everything he caused and how he killed mom he still doing things in a way I don't like.

Gosh,I just wish I didn't grow up been rich.

I walked into my room then rested immediately on the couch.Leo was still doing something which I don't know in my music studio and he hasn't come out.

With haste I began to remove the seal which was on the envelope,so that I could bring out the message.

The message was written in a whit paper so,I opened the white and then I was able to read it.

"Dear Marcus."

It is weird to see me at your gate right?,well it all has reasons which is as below.

Firstly, your dad and contacted me telling me he'd want to see me.so I came and he told me he wants me to be a judge in the competition he organized with your name.

At first I didn't want to be a judge but he had force me.i know we both aren't couples anymore and anytime I think of you I'm always in tears because I know the huge mistake I had made which I know you wouldn't forgive me.

But since he force me to be a judge I had to,but my main reason of writing this letter is to apologize about everything that had happen and I'm not worthy to be forgive.

So if you wanna go on with another relationship with another girl, you are free to do so because I have another boyfriend which I've live with for five years.

I heard so many song which you sang about me especially "mend my heart".

I know you still love me but don't cause I'm no longer worthy to be loved my you.

I was already in tears after reading the message by Hailey.

She had a new boyfriend and I'm here still thinking abd singing songs about her whereas she is out there with another guy.

I'm just so dumb.

But come to think of everything I and her had in common,the kids s*x and many other things but yet she another guy.

And also the fact that dad had already made her a judge in the competition,I would still be seeing her and also remembering our past.

I guess,i would have to move on with another girl after all she's already with another guy.

I fold the paper then wrapped them before throwing it away.

I just can't read it anymore, its so heartbreaking to see the person you fell in love with dating another guy.

Anyway,I wish her good relationship.

I didn't know what to do at this moment.i'm just left alone in my world.

Dad,is dead.Mom is no where to be found while Alexa is on the sick bed and she won't survive if the surgery is not made.

But where would I see such an amount of money to pay for the surgery.i got no after school job which could support neither did I have a savings.

And even I'm to ask some amount of money from someone.who would it be?,when I don't know anyone.

I walked back to where Chloe was and sat down on the chair which was provided there.

"What does the doctor say?"Chloe asked me but I was too tired to reply.

"He said she would need to undergo two surgeries before she gets healed because she was been poisoned"I said.

"How much does he say the money is?"She asked.

"Would you be able to help?"I asked her without replying her question.

"I have some money and.if it isn't enough I guess,I would have to borrow so that she would be okay"Chloe replied.

"The doctor said I would be needing 20,000 dollars for the surgeries"I said with a worried look.

"Don't worry that's exactly the amount I have In my savings.i would bring the money tomorrow and if you're bored and can't stay at home alone, then come to.my house"She said and I quickly hug her not minding if people are looking at us.

"Thank you so much,I really appreciate"I said and she smiled.

"What are friends for?, I'm actually doing it for the crazy girl to be saved"Chloe said and I chuckled.

Well, Alexa always call Chloe the crazy girl but Chloe is calling her the crazy one.,I guess both of them are crazy.

I'm just so happy that she has the money to pay for Alexa Surgery and I'm sure if Alexa survive it and knows she was the one who paid it,she would also be happy.

"You can now leave me alone"Chloe said bringing me back to reality.i totally forgot that I was hugging her,so we disengage from the hug.

"So are we both going to my house now?"She asked.

"Yeah,but I would take my belongings from our house before following you to yours"I replied.

"Okay let's go"She said and I followed her.

I just pray tomorrow Alexa would survive the surgeries and I would have my best friend back.

Chloe Seth

I could see smiles on the guys face.i'm totally sure he is happy about his sister that I would be able to pay the money for the surgery.

We walked out if the hospital and I saw it was already getting dark.the clouds were rumbling and I guess it might rain this night.

So without much hesitation I entered my car while he entered Alexa's car.i didn't know he brought her car but can he be able to drive it.

I guess he would try.i turn on the ignition and he also the same then we both drove off.

The drive was silent until we both got to their house.he alighted from his car then walked Inside the house.i decided to wait for him so that he should take all his belongings.

I waited for a while then saw him coming.he opened the car's booth then dropped everything he carried.

He walked back to the car then open the driver's seat before entering and then driving.

He waited for me to drive my car ahead because it was my house we were both heading to so I have to show him the way because he doesn't knows it.

I drive ahead of him and make sure he was behind me.
