Chapter Seventeen
"The audition is beginning tomorrow and the amount that would be given out is ready"Dad said
"Now I know you are extremely serious about this Dad, but just know I'm still not forgiving you for this"I replied
"Yeah,so I'm serious about this but you aren't and I know why?, infact I know you are really annoyed about it, but please just understand that I'm doing this for you"Dad said.
"Still not forgiving you for it,and to make the situation more worse,you made Hailey a judge, she's my ex for crying out loud dad "I replied
"You won't understand what I'm doing now Marcus,I know it's gonna be hard for you though, but I know in time you would understand"Dad replied and gulped from the beer,he had on his desk.
"I would be taking my leave dad,I just came here to see you and now I've done that"I said standing up from the chair I sat on.
"Wait Marcus,I have something important to discuss with you,take your seat"Dad spoke as I was about to leave his office.
"Something important?,I thought we just have a conversation,what else do you wanna say?"I asked surprised.
"I just don't know how to inform you about this Marcus, but just take a seat and let me explain everything."Dad replied and I sighed before taking my seat back again.
I noticed the look on his face and knew he was nervous to talk to me, and I know why, because he knows I'm still annoyed of the competition he began without my permission and maybe what he is about to inform me about is actually something which would make me more annoyed.
"Go on Dad"I said.
"Okay,I would go straight to the point. Firstly,i have a Drug dealing company which I secretly run without only two people knowing"Dad said.
I was surprised and dumbfounded at that moment,I really don't know what to say.
"Drug dealing?"I managed to ask.
"Yeah,and I need your help because it's going down little by little and I don't want it to be ruined"Dad replied.
"Really?, you need my help?,for what?,to leave my music career to be a drug dealer?"I asked.
"No,not that..I need you to help me smuggle drugs in as you are going for your live performance in California"He replied.
"I can't do that Dad, it's way to risky..i would have to pass many things before I would be able to drug deal it to California"I replied.
"I know son, but I just want you to do this for me"He said.
I sighed and thought about it for a while.
Smuggling hard drugs into a state like California is very risky,and also the cops and some other agencies which would be at the airport,they might end up putting me behind bars if I could get up by them.
I was lost in thoughts that I totally forgotten that Dad was still right in front of me.
"I can't Dad. I can't just do it. It's something that's too difficult for me to do"I said and he smiled.
"Okay then, you can go, but still keep thinking about it"He said and then I stood up and went out of his office.
My mind was filled with thoughts and i couldn't just think straight.
The Secret drug dealing dad is doing is really bad, but is this the business he does to sustain his empire?.

Three unknown men with crutches, walked into ward Sixty which is the ward Alexa was placed In.
They are there for a mission,they are there because they are sent by someone, but would could it be?.
Chloe who saw them went straight to see the doctor and informed him about it.
The doctor called the cops with immediate effect and then he decided to go into the ward to question why they are at Alexa's Ward.
As he walked in,he saw no one in the ward,not even Alexa..he was so surprised.
He searched every corner of the ward, but he didn't find anyone.
He went out of the ward and just then he heard the sound of a cocking gun.
"It's nice to meet you again, Darrell"He heard someone said.
He turned back and was to see who he saw.
"Donald"He called in surprise.
"Yes, it's me, it's been a long time you know"Donald replied
"What are you doing here, you son a bitch"Darrell said.
"I'm here for my revenge which is to kill one of your patient so that you would be blamed for the death,and you would get arrested."Donald replied.
"You dare not do that"Chloe who had been watching from behind spoke up.
"Ohh,are you his girl?"Donald asked.
"I don't know what you both are talking about and neither I'm i his girl, but all I'm saying is that,you shouldn't try killing my best friend Alexa"Chloe replied.
"She's your best friend?,she looks so beautiful"Donald said
"Yeah,she is but don't touch,if not I would kill you."Chloe ranted.
"Chill, I'm ain't gonna kill her,if only he says sorry for what he did to me in the past"Donald said.
"Shut up Donald, you are to be blamed for your problem and don't blame me for the mistakes"Darell replied.
"Really?, I'm to be blamed?,do you remember what you did the last time we saw?,if you don't let me tell you. You called me sort of names and embarrassed me in front of everyone."Donald said.
"That's none of my business,we would settle that later, but don't try killing this young lady over here,or else you would end up being in jail",Darell said.
"Jail?, I'm not afraid of jail,this isn't my first time of entering jail,so let me go on by killing her"Donald replied and brought out a knife from his pocket.
He placed it on Alexa chest and was about to use it on her, but suddenly the cops came in.
Darell smiled as the cops began to handcuff him.
"Really?,so you called the cops on me?, you would surely regret this Darell, it's a promise"Donald said as they took him out of the ward after being handcuffed by the cops.
Chloe sighed and went straight to Alexa,she placed her hands on her forehead and gave the doctor a look.
"You need to begin the surgery,I don't want my best friend to die"Chloe said and Darell,the doctor sighed..
"I would begin, but trust me, you wouldn't want to see it"He said.
"Alright,I would walk out,but please be careful while doing the surgery."Chloe replied and went out of the ward.
Well, Darell was with his instrument for the surgery and he was about to start, but he remembered the surgery can't be done by only one person,so he called some nurse who assisted him in the surgery
Chloe decided to call Owen, to ask if he was coming or not,she brought out her phone and dialed his number.
"Hello, Owen"She said immediately he picked her call.
"Hey, Chloe"Owen cooed.
"Are you on your way to the hospital?"Chloe asked.
"No, there is a problem..and I don't know if I would be able to come"Owen replied.
"What's the problem?"Chloe asked.
"Well,I got out of the house and went to the garage to drive out, but I forgot my keys and then I was about to go back into the house to take the key I forgot, but the door was locked"Owen explained.
Chloe was mute for some moments, because she didn't know what to say.
Her mom wasn't in support of her bringing Owen,into the home and it's definitely gonna be her,who locked Owen.
"Chloe"Owen called bringing Chow back to reality.
"Sorry about that, it's gonna be my mom who locked it, but don't worry, just take a cab to the hospital."Chloe said.
"Okay,I would be there within five minutes"Owen replied and cut the phone.
Chloe sighed and placed her heads on her legs.
She wasn't feeling okay with what was happening around her.

The door opened and Lucas entered,he wore a mask and she wasn't able to see his real face.
"You know I'm supposed to kill you, but let's say I have made a decision."He said to her.
She didn't make a move, but just stayed the position she was and was ready to hear his decision.
"I've decide to sell you out to one of the greatest mafia leader,and I'm sure he would use you well"He said.
"You are free to take me anywhere, you wanna,I don't care,maybe this life isn't met for me"She replied.
"She's tired of her life,poor little you.. you don't know the plan I have for you"He said.
"You can do whatever you want to, you are free"She spoke.
Just then the door opened and some guys In black carried her up and took her out of the room.
She didn't bother struggling so that they could leave her, but instead she willingly followed them.
"Bye!,i would see you later in Italy"He said and laughed hysterically.
