Chapter Four: Annoyed Marcus

With shame and Anger I left the restaurant.i contracted my driver to come and pick him.

He came few minutes later,i entered the car then he turned the ignition add drove off.

I felt so bittered..he promised he would come for the date but he didn't.

He left me..I feel so embarrassed

The driver stopped and looked abd saw we were already at home.

I alighted from the car and walked into the house with my head bowed.

I got into the house but I met no one at home.

Where's mom?,I asked myself..I decided to call her because she might be in the kitchen or her room

"Mom"I called but there was no response.

"Mom"I called again but there was still no response.

"Are you looking for me?"I heard someone asked and I turned back ads saw it was mom.

"Where were you..I was looking for you?"I asked.

"Well..I went to water the garden"she replied."so what about the date..did it went well?"she asked.

"Mason didn't showed up"I said in a low tone.

"He didn't showed up?"she questioned.

"Yea, according to him..he got hooked to with something which I knew he's lying"I said.

"But why would he do such a thing"mom said.

"I don't know..what I should do mom..I felt so embarrassed at the restaurant"I replied.

"I have an idea"she said and whispered something into my ear.

"Are sure its gonna work?"I asked as she nodded smiling.

"Yea,no one messes with my daughter and go Scot free."she said smiling.

"What's wrong with you Owen..why are you so moody?"I asked.

"Nothing..just leave me alone"he yelled.

"I'm your sister Owen.. you can talk to me"I said.

"Like I said.. leave me alone"he replied.

"I would leave you alone but you need to tell me what's wrong"I said.

He stood up and without saying anything he climbed the stairs and went to his room leaving me in confusion.

He was behaving weird and I don't know what's wrong with him.

Mom wasn't in the sitting room anymore and I guess she probably went somewhere.

I sighed then left the dinning and climbed the stairs.

I need to know what's wrong with him.

He can't just behave so weird..he's room was opposite mine so I thought of going in to know what's happening.

I tried opening the door but I found out it was locked.

"Owen"I called knocking on his door.

"Would you just leave me alone"he yelled.

"I can't leave you alone.. you are my younger brother..and you need to tell what's wrong with you"I said.

He didn't reply for a while and I was about to go when he opened the door.

I entered his room then closed the door behind.

I looked at his room which looks exactly like a boy room.

He sat on his bed while I did the same.

"So what happened to you...why are you so moody..this is the first time I'm seeing you this way."I said.

"I had s nightmare and it's all about Mom"he said.

"Mom?"I questioned.

After enough chills st the pool I dsv to go back into the house.

Well you maybe wondering why there's no one with me.. that's because my dad isn't with me and mom died few years ago which left me heartbroken.

I forgot about it because it was the past but anytime i remember her..I always blame myself for not doing the right thing.

It was halfly my fault and the rest was dad who caused it.

My phone began to ring and I saw it was Leo Who's my manager and also my best friend.

"Hello Leo.. where are you..i didn't find you when I came back?"I asked.

"I had to go meet the Diamonds industry"he replied.

"Why did you went there..I told it's dad industry and I don't wana see you there"I yelled.

"Chill bro.. you haven't heard what I wanna say"he said.

"Okay speak up"I said.

"There is this competition which they want to organise..it just like a talent show where people would get to showcase their talent and anyone who wins would get to win Two million dollars..and would also get to sing with you and the song would be produced"he explained.

"Is it dad who organized it?"I asked.

"Yea,he was the one who organized it and he also wants you to be a judge"he said.

"Tell him that i'm never gonna be a judge for the talent show and no one is singing with me"I yelled and cut the phone without waiting for a reply.

He could he just organise a talent show without telling me.

And he sent Leo to tell him I would be a judge and anyone who gets to win would sing with me.

This is totally insane.
