ARIANNE POV
I could feel the rage simmering just beneath the surface every time Azar's hand brushed against mine, a reminder of the life he had stolen away from me. The desire to strike out and end him then and there pulsed through my veins, but I knew that such an act was not possible, not yet. He may have taken advantage of my memory loss, but I knew who he was, my enemy, the one who had orchestrated the chaos that had shattered my world.
I may not have regained all of my memories, but the knowledge of his betrayal burned within me like a fire that refused to be extinguished. I vowed to myself that I would get what I deserved back from him, to make him pay tenfold for the pain and suffering he had caused and her!
