After explainghis story to the family the majority thought he lost his mind and venalena cried for hours that day thinking she lost her baby.

Later that night Alex spent his night being cuddle by his mother and grayfia, she refuses to leave his side. Rias continued her dealings with her peerage and helped akeno set up the temporary room for Alex.

Akeno had to ask "so I'm curious what happened with him?" And rias explains a in vague detail about him being trapped and how he saved her from the riser marriage and how he will have to marry ravel.

Akeno lost in her thoughts drops what she is doing and stares at rias. And asks "so what do we do now that this is no longer looming over our heads?" Rias with a puzzled look responds " now we trian and help brother get the rest of his peerage." Akeno responds with a question" now that he has returned and seams to be powerful, and your fathers passing, what will happen with the family head position".

Rias ponders about this for a minute she herself was not sure. But she thinks to herself that she would not mind giving it to him or keeping it. She would not fight her brother.

"I don't know akeno but the way he has changed I don't think he even knows what he wants to do".

This was the case while they were going through their thoughts and conversation a similar one was going on in another room in the gremory mansion.

Venalena asked a similar question to Alex that akeno asked rias. His response was an immediate " I do not want it I just returned and rias has already been trained to take the position. I'm aiming higher." Was all Alex said and shut his eyes to sleep. Alex rolled and hugged grayfia like a body pillow like he has done for the last 10 years. With venalena attached to his back. He drifted of to sleep.

In his sleep he entered his soul world. It was a lush field with flowers growing everywhere a small crystal clear lake could be seen in the distance with a gazebo next to it. bright blue skies and the sun shinning over everything. Trees could be seen far off as this place was massive.

A woman sitting in the gazebo was watching a screen in front of her sighing away for what had to be the tenth time during the conversation she heard. Alex appeared in front of her at this moment. And he just chuckled.

He went over to her and laid his head on her thighs. Looking up at the woman he asks "am I doing the right thing not taking the position. " Mia responds with a nod of her head. Saying" you always said it was not your style." Also she looks back at the ten years with him so far. Reminiscing about the time. A smile firmly on her face.

Flashback start

Ten years ago in a different dimension Alex was sitting with his legs crossed in a meditative position. He was in the same hall he vanished from. Bright multi colored light radiation off his entire body. Reminiscent of the dimensional gap.

If anyone was around they would have heard multiple cracks being heard. Alex looked to be in pain but he ignored it. He was in the process of letting the energy temper himself. And it was worse the the power of destruction.

Parts of him were breaking and healing instantly his skin bones organs everything there was a nano second where he existed as a soul agian. But his body rebuilt around that. In his head he heard her voice for the first time.

At the beginning it was a robotic type voice defined to be female sounding. " my host has finally evolved."

Initializing new ruler system

Minutes passed. New ruler system updating.

Was what her heard next.

Update complete. Hello host my name is Mia and I am the new ruler system.

Alex panicked he thought systems were bad and annoying as they mostly cause chaos and pain for the host. All that could be heard was an "ahh hell no" from Alex and his body shone far brighter then before.

A few seconds passed with no sound and with just blinding light. Once that disappeared there were two beings standing there. One was Alex the other with the same proportions as grayfia only a bit smaller. They both were shocked at this.

Alex staring wide eyed as this was the first naked woman he has seen since his breast feeding days. And her the same as she did not know what happened.

This lasted a few minutes till she said in a more human voice."stop staring and give cloths." Alex shrieked when she spoke. But waved his hand as a blanket appeared and fell over head.

While she was under he had adjusted himself to try and hide his raging dragon. She finally poked her head out from under the blanket with an angry look and asked. " what have you done why did I appear here I was in you what the fuck?"

Alex responded with a smirk which made her more angry. He finally said." You were my system but I don't like the concept and did not want to die from failing a mission. So I created a body for you and detached you from my soul" She just started crying becuase in her mind she was his system his guide. Supposed to be his everything. But he threw her away.

Alex being who he is and hating when women cry felt bad and went to hug her. She ran from him. All he said was take your time and get used to the body. And he left the hall leaving her alone.

They would continue to avoid each other untill she got more curious about him. To her he still was her world and new she could not keep this going. After a month they finally talked agian. She explained that the system was only a guide after he picked his path.

And knowing his race was in a bad place due to low birth rates he wanted to help but the only way he could was to stop all the infighting. So he settled on his path to be the next absolute ruler of the devil race. He already had the strength to be so he just needed more of something he did not know.

Mia also told him the perks of the system. There was no fancy status screen or missions to do unless he wanted them. There would only be rewards but he could just ask Mia for them now or to train him as she has her body.

However she refused this and he kept pestering about it. She could easily have given what he wanted. But she was pissed he ripped her from his soul. After a few more months he finally relented and asked her what she wanted for them. As he knew she was the only way he could get home.

Mia demanded that ge replace the connection of there souls then everything that was her would be his. Alex agreed after a month of surveying her to make she she was not lying to fuck his soul over.

So he was reconnected to the system and they were able to keep her body as well. And she trained him for the rest of that year before he was able to wake grayfia.

Flash back end

After his flashback heard to me than she was right . He had chosen his path. Alex slept for a while in his soul space. When he came out it was morning and the beginning of his journey.

He woke still cuddled with grayfia and his mother on his back. They were both still asleep. Alex gently removed him self from his bed and notice small frowns on their faces .

He needed to shower and when he was finished he teleported to his brother for his meeting with ajuka.

After he arrived he stumbled on a funny scene as he teleported right into sirzechs bedroom he was to excited for this meeting.

He came across Yara spooning sirzechs he was the little spoon. He laughed his ass off and they woke up startled. Yara quickly hid herself under the blanket. Alex didn't see anything. Sirzechs comments "what are you laughing about I bet mother spooned you all last night"

Alex with a straight face Alex just shrugged his shoulders. As he turned around to exit the room he yelled to his brother to hurry up and get ready and he left the room.

Ten minutes later sirzechs was ready he came out and found Alex in a daze. He was speaking with Mia who was still in him and was lost in thought. Sirzechs was shaking him violently to get his attention. Alex realized and laughed.

The conversation was not important just a way for Alex to kill a bit of time. They finally teleported to a large lab. It had to be larger then there family mansion. Multiple floors all open in the middle like a library book shelf scattered the upper floors.

There was a large glowing dark looking monolith in the middle of the lab. This was the agares stone that the pieces were made of. It was beautiful in Alex's mind.

They found a work bench with a man hovering over it. This was ajuka as they walk up to him the notice a young girl on the other side of the bench she had the same hair as ajuka and Yara. Ajuka in a hurry to get back to his research only waved. He has been studying the energy that Alex produced when he returned.

When he realized the source was their he finally stopped and turned around.

Ajuka said " welcome ,welcome it's good to see you agian Alex I was wondering if you could let me run a few tests on you." Knowing this was his personality Alex just laughed and said maybe later. Ajuka replied " ahh OK well anyway this is my niece Latia she has been here since the day you returned helping with my research she probably wants to experiment as well.if you would allow it that would be great. We'll let's get to the reason your here first the evil pieces. Here are the pieces I created for you all that you need to do is put your energy into them to bind them to your soul." After a long winded speech ajuka turned around to continue his research.

Alex didn't get a chance to say anything as he was handed a finely crafted box. Normally it's a plain wood that it is made from. But since ajuka wants Alex's help with his research he made it out of a treasure he had lying around.

Mia told him this and he was shocked to hear the box was made from the wood of the world tree in the Norse pantheon. It was brimming with energy. Sirzechs shook his head and asked ajuka " is a bribe really necessary he was going to help no matter what." Ajuka smiled and said yes it was as he was laughing.

Alex not paying attention to their conversation poured his origin energy into the pieces ,as Mia said for him to do. All of the pieces mutated. The color chanched to Match that of his energy, it was constantly shifting between every color.

At this moment ajuka gasped when he noticed the mutation Latin and himself ran over almost tackling Alex to the ground. To look at his pieces. Before they got close enough Alex slammed the lid down almost on Latias fingers. She shrieked like she was scared.

Alex laughed and sai " give me a minute to enjoy them before you guys go crazy. "

Latia glared at him and stood the pouting and muttering I'm not crazy jerk. Ajuka only shrugged. In the next few minutes Mia explained the new properties of the pieces to him.

She stated that he can now reincarnate any being no matter what if he wanted he could have great red in his peerage. Also that a person bestowed with the piece will get aspects of his power. It won't grant them the ability to use origin energy. But it will incredibly boost affinity and control over which ever type of energy they have. And allow use of others. Meaning a devil reincarnated with one of his pieces would be able to use and not be harmed by holy or light energy.

Alex was dumbfounded for a moment after hearing that but grew more and more excited.

She also explained that the connection between the pieces and and the host was stronger then the originals ajuka made. He will be able to sense everything they do through there senses.

This kind of through a wrench in his plan as he does not want to have that kind of relationship with men. Sorry tobio but you are no longer in my peerage Alex thought to himself. It worked out OK as rias still had her knight piece for him.

Alex finally sighed and opened the box back up he let ajuka study them. How every the only thing he could understand was that it was the same power from the hall it baffled him beyond belief. Latia was even worse off as she is not at ajukas level yet.

After this Alex agreed to let them do tests as he figures they won't get any info from it as they were so far away from origin levels. Well maybe not ajuka as his formula is close but it is still only used with demonic energy.
