You know, there are days where I regret the decision to accept the quest for this insane dungeon from the system all those months ago.
And coincidentally, this day happens to be one of those days. The reason for my regret?
It is standing right in front of my broken body which is slowly regenerating after being subjected to hours upon hours of instant death poisoning.

A sword type sacred gear which inflicts a killing curse with a single cut, however, the curse is considered a highly lethal yet easily curable curse by modern standards, the only problem is that the curse is too quick to kill which makes it almost impossible to cure despite its a curable possibility.

You might be wondering just how I have managed to survive several deep cuts from such a blade? once more, the answer for it was as shocking as it was relieving.
Apparently, the deity that was the ancestor of this body was strong enough to outright ignore such a powerful curse, something that I can guarantee to be lethal to lesser gods such as the Olympians, the Romans, and the Aztec. That means that whoever my ancestor was, he or she is at least elder gods that are active even in the modern world, and I can only think of a few factions that have active elder gods, The Hindu and The Shinto being the prime suspects, but I immediately rejected the Hindu, the reason being that as far as I remember, the Hindu deities had long since stopped giving birth to Demigods after the Kurukshetra. And that just leaves the Shinto, of course, I cannot leave out the possibility for less powerful elder gods such as the Norse or the Egyptian or even the Islam as it happens to be a large religion, but that possibility is slim to none as I do not recall hearing about any demigods from that particular religion.
But the point stands, thanks to the powerful bloodline of my ancestor, the curse was unable to outright kill me immediately but the sacred bloodline was only able to slow down the said curse because of its diluted state. This is where my regeneration kicks in.
Every time the Curse destroys the cells in my body, my regeneration kicks in and rebuilds the said cells while also making them stronger and resistant to the curse, the curse once again destroys the cells which are again replaced by stronger and more immune cells. the process was quite similar to the time I got sprayed on my back with Alien blood but instead of my body waiting it out for the acid blood to lose its potency, this time my body was actively fighting and rebuilding itself from the base up to become completely resistant to the curse. And as anyone would expect, the process was painful as hell.
It would seem that this dungeon was hell-bent on causing me as much agony as possible.
But thankfully, Akame was not as dangerous if not for her sword, from what I was able to understand from her fighting style, she was similar to me, a child that was forced into becoming an assassin by learning a martial arts that was designed to kill. but the killer martial arts is nothing compared to my own martial arts which were created and refined for generations by taking the most optimal and lethal parts of countless martial arts throughout the world, unlike Leonel whose martial arts was a natural nemesis to my own martial arts. Thus m I had an upper hand against her as long as I manage to get her sword away from her, but therein lay the problem.
Even though my black Lightsaber is good enough to destroy that sword of hers given time, It would be dangerous for me to try and close the distance with her because even though her martial arts are nothing compared to my own, her swordsmanship is something that can only be described as legendary, I simply had no way to counter most of her attack patterns, hence the wounds on my body.
But thankfully, I had a trump card that I was ready to play at this moment.
I channeled the meager amount of prana from my four average quality magic circuits to my eyes while the image of the colt revolver from my younger days came to my mind, I mentally pulled the trigger as the hammer reared back and hit the bullet of the imaginary gun.
And then the world became so much clearer.
"Trace On"
I mumbled as I used tracing on her sword, this was the first time I was using the power of tracing the history of an object on an enemy simply because of the fact that i was never truly outmatched this much in sheer skill alone, even with Leonel I was able to somewhat keep up with my own physical skills, but this woman was the first one even in both my lives to make me truly feel completely inferior to someone in raw skill, Thus, I cheated.
Immediately, the memories started to flood my mind as I saw the little girl taken in by the Empire turn into a beautiful assassin, I saw her hellish training, I saw all the brutalities that the sword was used to commit, I saw as the girl learned to unlock the truth card of the sword.
And now, those skills were mine to command.
Of course, I could not replicate her triumph card or her skill set due to the simple fact that our body types and genders were completely different, while she was built for speed and agility, I was built to be an agile Tank. It was simply not possible for me to imitate most of her skill due to my body type, but now, I knew exactly how her attack pattern worked and exactly how to counter them.
For the next few hours, I spent countering all of her attacks and then counter-attacking at impossible angles only possible due to the fact that my blade was completely weightless unlike the blade of Murasame which was a few kilograms in weight, and it was not helping her that I was constantly targeting her blade and was aiming to destroy it because unlike the sacred gears created by the biblical god, artificial ones like this one which I know to be Teigu can be destroyed. and if I manage to destroy her blade, then she would be easy picking for me thanks to my superior martial arts. I continued to fight in this manner until I finally managed to shatter her blade and then proceeded to decimate her with my martial arts.
The result was the near-dead assassin in front of me.
But I did not let my guard down as I kept watch over my surroundings, the last time I had managed to bring down an enemy this easily, I was double-teamed by Lubbock and Najenda and it is safe to say that I do not want to have a repeat of that situation.
Thankfully, that situation never came to be after I defeated Akame but something strange did happen.

That's new, I dod not know that the system had such a function, If I knew about this earlier, I would have destroyed the sacred gears of Lubbock, Mine, and Leonel, It is impossible to extract the Sacred Gear from Esdeath as it is part of her body so that was not a loss.
I clicked on yes and watched as the broken fragments of Murasame suddenly disappeared from existence, there was no light show or anything, one moment they were there, the next moment they were gone.
I watched as a progress bar filled itself up gradually, once it was done, I got another message.

It can be used to give the property of cursed poison from Murasame to any sacred gear that has a blade in it.

Before I could look into the rewards more, I heard a strange sound similar to gears grinding against each other from the nearby ruins where Akame was originally stationed.
I watched as the closed door of the ruins slowly opened partially before whatever power source was making it work stopped.
